Great News! I received an email this morning from Bonefish telling me about their lunch specials until 3 PM! Perfect for the retired twins lol! We both ordered the loaded half pound burger with French fries for Dave and coleslaw for me. We both got house salads and ice teas. The house salads were amazing, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, black Kalamata olives, hearts of palm and pumpkin seeds with a light vinaigrette dressing on the side. The hamburgers were very tasty with cheddar cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and on a nice brioche looking bun. Megan was our server extraordinaire who made sure that our meal was perfect and refilling our tea. Lunch was a nice way to spend time with each other in a cool, comfortable and friendly environment! With fish the star of the show, it should be perfect. Having enjoyed other branches of Bonefish, and ordering the same entree, I know what it can be. And tonight's parmesan crusted trout fell short. The fish was under-seasoned, if seasoned at all. The skin, usually crisp, was slimy. A couple of plops of artichoke ..... nah. A friend ordered butterfish. He too was underwhelmed. Went here with the girls for the Halloween event & was so good, went tonite for the Merry Martini event & WOW! I only have one negative comment, it starts with a great champagne & the next 3 martinis were vodka based, the last one was a chocolate martini with tequila, should have stuck with the vodka. All courses were amazing, so yummy, the flourless bourbon brownie with ice cream & whipped cream was OMG . Our server was attentive & fantastic. Yes I would attend another one!! read more

Just had dinner at Bone Fish Grill, and I have to say, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My husband had the Butter Fish Florentine which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. He also had the corn & crab bisque. I tasted it and it was excellent. I had the shrimp scampi which was delicious. The shrimp were not big but they were a great size for a scampi. It's the best tasting scampi I have had in awhile. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely go back again, even though we are 45 minutes from Cape Coral. read more

We received a gift card to Bonefish for Christmas. We used it today and were extremely disappointed. Our hostess and server(Alyssa) are the only reason I didn't give this a lower rating. They were both exceptionally nice and professional. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. That was actually good. The calamari was hot, tender and tasty. For entrees I ordered the Steak and Shrimp. My husband ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon. I was quite excited as I don't often order steak. My meal was terrible. First, it was barely luke warm. The garlic mashed potatoes were cold. And the Shrimp was terrible. It was rubbery and tasteless. My steak was so tough that I had to discreetly spit out 2 pieces that were unchewable, into my napkin. I am 67. I have never before done that at a restaurant. My husband's salmon was warm and well cooked. But he unfortunately had the same cold potatoes and raw broccoli that I had. There really is no excuse for such a poorly cooked meal. I suggest going almost anywhere else for dinner. ***Update. Management was very quick and responsive to this review. Oh Bonefish Grill, where oh where is your wood fired grill, because it is not at your restaurant. Your fish is not fresh, it comes from a factory, precooked with faux grill marks, and shot full of garbage to attempt to make it edible. I ordered take out a few times and then recently. I never could put my finger on, why the fish had an odd texture, and an odd flavor. It kind of tasted strangely weird to a person who gets fresh fish from the local seafood market. Now I understand the reason. The fish is not fresh, and it is not grilled to order. You cannot call yourself a restaurant and serve prepared food. That is gross and disgusting. Every time I ordered takeout the order was messed up. The most recent order, both the Maui and the Trout was a culinary travesty. It was pitched in the garbage can, and traded out for our own scratch cooked leftovers. I will never ever order anything from Bonefish Grill again. read more

Delicious food, great service and nice atmosphere! We've never been to this location, only the Fort Myers one so we decided to give this location a try tonight and we were so pleasantly surprised! Our waitress was very nice and attentive, we ordered two orders of Bang Bang Shrimp and they were all super tasty and perfectly crunchy. We got mahi mahi and shrimp, mahi mahi pan Asian style, sea bass pan Asian style and the cider planked salmon and everything was absolutely devine! The food and service here are good. My main complaint about the establishment is the difficulty for mobility challenged people to easily access entrance. That is very off putting. The atmosphere is pleasant and the drinks are good and priced like similar restaurants. I don't really have anything very negative ( other than handicapped situation) or extremely positive. Visited here on January FIRST- expected MORE! Out for a ride on a cool day & wanted seafood. Bang Bang shrimp to start- very good Disappointed however with their limited specials: Grouper, chops and a steak options were over $20. So it was fish & chips for me while Judy had their grilled trout. My cod was hot and tasty but overly greasy. The trout was excellent. The sides were ordinary: chips good, her steamed buttered spinach was fresh but could have been seasoned, her potato (mashed) was forgettable. I had wanted a draft IPA but management doesn't subscribe to my wishes so I drank water instead. 45% of Americans drink IPA & 75% like craft beer. Not here. Service was good, not rushed. We enjoyed being waited on. Serving is a team effort at BF, all in all they do a good job. Ambiance is pleasant but the music a tad loud if listening. Nothing to write home about. We definitely did not get the quality that is expected for what we paid. I don't mind paying for a meal as long as it is worth it but I make better meals at home and much much fresher. The calamari was soggy not crispy at all. It was like biting into raw dough. The risotto looked like oatmeal, imagine that! The Shrimp and Scallop Scampi was bland and watery not creamy at all. The grilled Mahi was ok but not good enough to eat the leftovers. The soups were tasty but too spicy. The truffles fries were in fact good and the complimentary bread and pesto were excellent. Mixed drinks were good ~ kudos to the bartender. The waiter was pleasant but disappeared soon after bringing our meal. So, one time visiting Bonefish Grill is more than enough. read more

It's been a while since I stopped in at BG. I had a nice experience, the food, service and professionalism were good. We had a lunch special mahi tacos with lobster bisque and the 3 course dinner special that included ceaser salad, a lemon garlic pasta and a dessert. Food and wine prices were reasonable, all were less than 16$ each. Our server was very attentive and informative with her recommendations. They also have outdoor seating and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. We will return. read more

Just finished lunch at bonefish and we won't be back. We got there about 1 pm hoping to have lunch but they had no lunch menu or specials we were given a dinner menu and valentines special menu. Had the lobster and sirloin steak special for $37 tonight - don't waste your money! Lobster was virtually tasteless and the steak was without flavor and tough! They wife (was her birthday) had the twin lobster tails ($44) she said it was okay but the pomegranate martini was pretty good. Only other good thing was they take reservations ... it'll be awhile until I go back. The service ... was definitely not worth the 18% minimum that was suggested. I am truly disappointed. Bonefish is usually one of my favorite places to eat. I just ordered an appetizer through grubhub which was expensive as it was but then on top of that. I couldn't eat what I received because more then half off it was inedible. I tried contacting bonefish through their website, but it's so confusing.You can't reach anyone. I want to be compensated for this. I spent good money to eat good food. This is disheartening, to say the least. It just knows how bone fish do better!! read more

Great spot - family always loves bonefish grill - been to Chicago location, Hilton head island location and now Cape Coral location-As you guessed it's a chain restaurant. With two kids they were nice and gave kids menu that had kids activities and a nice kids meal options. Both my kids had the Mac and Cheese with Broccoli option. Mac and cheese is basically Kraft I think and the broccoli was nice and soft! I had the pork chop with two sides ( bacon Mac and cheese and whipped garlic potatoes ) pork chop was good - just wish they had an apple sauce spread for it . Mahi-mahi was also ordered and good ! There were six of us so we all had a little of everything -starting with bang bang shrimp which my kids love and actually main reason my kids want to go- it's that good! Scallops and spicy pasta dish was had and was good. The best part besides the food is that our waitress was awesome and very attentive to out needs! Dinner was terrific! 2 of us split the 3 course dinner. We both ended up with the chimichurri steak which was cooked perfectly and SO FREAKING good! We were visiting from Miami and were delighted for find bonefish grill in Cape Coral. The server Matt was very pleasant and familiar with the menu. He made excellent suggestions for refreshing watermelon martinis which were delicious and recommended excellent appetizers saucy shrimp and bang bang shrimp. The dinners we had the Parmesan crusted rainbow trout which was fresh and delicious. He was very attentive and made our experience very relaxing and pleasant. My once favorite restaurant is now a dismal version of itself, Bonefish Grill, Cape Coral. I ordered the ahi tuna appetizer & cesar salad. The tuna was dry & the lettuce was wilted, apparently the food was not only unappealing, but verging on unsafe. The tuna & salad were not even refrigerated properly. After notifying the restaurant, I was told that nothing could be done. What does that even mean? Had a very disappointing experience at Bonefish tonight. We usually prefer to support locally owned restaurants, but sometimes we're in the mood for dishes that can only be found on commercial menus. Our faithful go to is Bonefish Grill. We usually have a pretty decent dinner but, lately we have enjoyed ourselves less and, less and tonight they really miss the mark. Instead of providing a detailed narrative I'm just going to make a list of what happened: 1. My husband ordered an espresso martini. Apparently the bar made one by mistake earlier in the evening, and decided to give him that one. 2. I ordered a French martini which was not made properly. He used french vanilla vodka and Chambord only. Thankfully, the second bartender remade it perfectly! 3. We were told about the specials and decided to order one of the appetizers only to find out that it was sold out. 4. We asked for bread that never came. 5. Bartender refilled my husband's iced tea with water. 6. We ordered the muscles and when they came, six of them were still sealed shut, two of them were stuck to the inside of the shell and the rest of them were either undercooked or non-existent. The texture was more like a raw oyster than a cooked muscle. After the muscles and the lack of service, we decided to cut our losses and ask for our check. When we got our bill, there were additional items added that we did not order. The second bartender quickly made the adjustments but the whole entire experience was more than frustrating. At one point it was mentioned that the manager would come speak to us but they never came. We left hungry and angry. read more

My husband and I went to bonefish June 24th 2025. We had not been in since the new 4/1 menu. I am not a fan of the new menu and apparently, not many were, as its being revised again. Our meal, however, did not disappoint. Husband's steak was delicious - he could cut it with his fork it was so tender. My gluten free port chop was also amazing. Our waiter, Matt, made the experience amazing. We have had some good waiters but Matt went above and beyond, providing reassurance re: my food issues (many - other than gluten) and being attentive with out being intrusive. I do wish they still offered gluten free creme brulee as dessert option. read more

A group attended the martini dinner last night at Bonefish Grill in Cape Coral. A different experience from the usual wine dinners we go to but a a great experience, food very good and a new perspective on martinis. We ate lunch at Bonefish Grill on Tamiami Trail a few days ago. At first glance, the restaurant appears quite nice. However, when we sat down, there was a paper tablecloth on top of the table and the actual tablecloth (which was a vinyl material) was folded down on each side. To our dismay, the folded part of the table cloth was dirty with dried food, other residue, and was torn in each corner of the table. Thus, we were turned off immediately to eating there; this was terrible to begin our restaurant experience there. The waitress and hostess did attempt to wipe the dirty parts of the table cloth, which we appreciated, but our initial impression which was gross was difficult to forget. We did order lunch and ate there. The food was just OK. Don't know if we would ever return. A dirty tablecloth could mean a dirty kitchen. read more
