It was near the end of the trip and my friend and I were no longer up for food experimentation, so a familiar restaurant was chosen. There was about a 30 minute wait - not bad considering that we arrived during the busy time and without a reservation. There were bsr seats available, however, we declined due to the number of people that were already shoulder to shoulder. Our server was good and easy going. We each ordered the bang bang shrimp with a side of spinach. The shrimp dishes arrived at different times and both without the typical green onions on top. Our Server had to go back for those. I was told that she sent my shrimp back - the kitchen had over cooked it a o she preemptively requested a new dish for me. I was ok with my pain steamed spinach. I just squeezed lemon juice on it. My friend sent theirs back. I was done and ready to go until I saw a very beautiful slice of cake pass by on its way to a neighboring table. As soon as our Server asked if we wanted dessert, I asked about that cake. The key lime cake was highly recommended. I ordered it. It is truly enough of a slice for 2 people. I could've really taste the key lime (taste bud malfunction?), it tasted like a different type of cake to me. Either way, I enjoyed it. Overall, an okay experience. read more

We went to Bonefish Grill for their wine dinner, very disappointed. The food and course's were very good but for a wine dinner the pours were very skimpy and disappointing. At $65.00 per person you would expect a decent pour, but what we received was ver skimpy from the beginning. If they want to have a wine dinner with wine drinker's give a decent pour and charge what you have to make your profit. When several of us at the table request more wine at the billing we were charged for additional glasses of wine. I would strongly recommend that a patron be weary of booking for a Fish Grill wine dinner because of their very expensive additional charges. read more

Garbage food at outrageous prices. We ordered 3 appetizers and 1 drink $88. The appetizers were crabcakes which were a paste, had to take off the check, beer was totally flat, had to take off. Dynamite salmon was a plate of broccoli and a hard, dry overcooked small piece of salmon $26. On tot of that I ad a gift card for that particular place and they wouldn't honor it. Service was great. Granted like everywhere else, seemed overpriced... my other half ordered the swordfish special. Came out dry as a bone. They took back the fish only and left the side to enjoy while waiting for the remade order. Within a few minutes, the swordfish, along with fresh piping hot sides (pumpkin ravioli were amazing btw) and four different employees asking if the remake was acceptable, were at the table. Ordered thru GrubHub and paid a 30% tip (thank you GrubHub driver Mike!) to receive basically no chips with my CHIP & DIP order. That item is getting refunded but the frustration of missing a key part of the order makes me consider whether it is worth keeping Bonefish in my rotation. (Second order in ten days.) The key to success in the restaurant industry is consistency. People need to know that when order, it will come the correct way, every time. They have the restaurant set to encourage social distancing. We started with the hot bread with olive oil and their seasoning pack. Everyone has had the bang bang shrimp but have you tried the bang bang chicken, If not it's a must-try. I ordered the salmon that is cook to a good temperature with two sides choices of rice and fresh vegetables. The vegetables were over cooked and the rice was seasoned just right. My daughter got chicken marsala the marsala sauce was a little thin with a side of asparagus and homemade mac and cheese with bacon. Once Again her asparagus was unseasoned and overcooked. read more

I really like this restaurant and overall the food is very good. Tonight we had a party of six. For starters we had the fries with crab.Everyone enjoyed those. Two had the rainbow trout, one with the corn chowder (we asked for some crackers but they didn't have any) and both really enjoyed it. My husband had the Chilean sea bass and he really liked it. Another had the scallops and shrimp skewer. The shrimp were very large as was the portion size. It was very good. We also had the chicken and shrimp which was good as well. I had the fish and chips which included three large pieces of battered cod. The fish had a great flavor however it was very greasy. For dessert we had the warm cookies, the lava carrot cake and the key lime cake. All were very good. The only issue seemed to be with our server. She was very nice but forgetful. We didn't get the bread at the beginning although every table around us did. She brought the drinks but two of us asked for lemon and lime and she forgot those. She said she would bring them back but didn't until we reminded her again. We asked for coffee with dessert and she never brought it. The atmosphere is elegant and a great place for a family dinner or date night. They also have a nice bar area. Price point is med-high. They have a good menu with a nice variety of dishes, not just seafood. They don't have many options for vegetarians. Perhaps adding a mac and cheese without the bacon or a pasta with a vegetarian friendly sauce would be nice. Overall a very nice place. read more

Really nice atmosphere and decor here. My rainbow trout was delicious! Overall our party was happy with the food preparation and quality, albeit a bit pricey. We went for an early dinner, which was great since it's wasn't yet busy. Lots of employees standing around until the crowds came. For some time I have been wanting to try this restaurant and today was my lucky day. My daughters wanted to eat seafood, because, of course, I was paying. I had their special Baja Shrimp and Scallops over linguini. My first daughter had the shrimp and scallop skewers and my other daughter tried the mahi mahi. We also oreder the imperial dip which I must say was surprisingly good and with an abundance of shrimp in the dip. The meals were more than filling and we all walked away satisfied. This is my second time coming to Bone Fish and let me tell you, the food is beyond amazing! I can't even begin to tell you, you will have to figure I out for yourself. I went on New Year's Day and I was expecting it to be crowded but it wasn't! There was no wait, we came in and sat down! Our waiter was so nice and answered all of our questions. I ordered the Bang Bang shrimp tacos and for my side I got the Brussel sprouts that came with ham and omg!!!! My food alone blew my mind! I ordered my usual dry martini, perfectly chilled and not stingy with the vodka. For an entree I ordered a filet Mignon (medium rare) garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies (brócoli). First of all, the brócoli was perfectly al dente. The garlic taters are to die for, but the filet was the star: Perfectly cooked and seasoned, I highly recommend this cut of beef at a seafood restaurant. My husband opted for Mahi-mahi with yet more shrimp. He cleaned his plate so that's your food review right there. We wanted crème brûlée for dessert but it was not available. I had a craving for Chilean Sea Bass and was starving by late afternoon. Bonefish Grill at Pine island was a quick drive. We walked in and saw a couple of empty booths and in hopes to be seated soon requested for a booth. However, was told all of them were reserved. All the while standing there with the host, a server and the host began discussing the request of a group of 4 to move from the booth they were seated because the direct sun was on their faces. The host then offers us the booth. I replied "but wouldn't that be bothering us, too?" She said without even lifting her head to look at us, "it's alright, there's only 2 of you". NOTE: This table is the very first booth on your left as you enter. We trusted her since we figured she works there and would be knowledgeable. We always sit across each other but the bright sun was reflecting from the floor directly on to one side of the booth. I'm left handed and He's right handed, therefore we had to space out when he moved to my side. Awkward. For appetizers, ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp & for our entree; Cod/crab & Sea Bass. To my surprise, the sea bass was bare 1/2 inch thick. (See photo, compared to the width of my index finger. I have small fingers to boot) We asked our server if that was a mistake. The manager came and explained that it is Sea Bass but a different cut and offered us a new plate. That was very professional and gracious of him. He suggested to keep the first plate because they will simply discard it. I respect that and thank you. All the while, we had to change out seating arrangements because the sun is now beating on our side. The meal was delicious but the dining experience was too eventful. The happy hour crowd by the bar area was quite loud. When our bill arrived, the Sea Bass entree was not included. Most of you would have just left it alone, right? However, after every thing else that has gone wrong, we asked our server to double check if that was correct.
