Our server was the sweetest and when we ordered the cookies for dessert, she added a cute little candle and even comped them for us. After a day of shopping stopped by bonefish. First time at this location but the staff was great. Our server was so kind and high energy and she was helpful when it came to choosing what we wanted to eat. It wasn't busy when we arrived but started to fill up as it was Easter weekend. Bonefish Grill delivered a solid dining experience overall. Bonefish Grill has some solid dishes. Drinks were well-made, and the overall food quality was good. However, the service was just *fine*--nothing special. I've had much more attentive and engaging experiences at similar restaurants. The staff wasn't bad, but they didn't go above and beyond either. The paper tablecloths also really cheapen the vibe. If they're trying to mimic a white-tablecloth restaurant, they missed the mark. It feels like an odd middle ground between casual and upscale. If we had not been at the Bonefish Grill Matthew's location the very night before, I probably would not have written this review. But, oh! What a difference a location makes! First, I'll admit it was Saturday night so I did expect a wait. We arrived just before 8pm. We waited for seating no more than 10 minutes. But that would turn out to be the shortest wait of the evening. We ordered dinner and French fries as an app. We asked that the fries come to the table as soon as they were ready. They came out in about 15+ minutes (so it's now about 8:30p) but it is clear they had been sitting under a heat lamp. The plate was warmer than the fries, and the fries were not fully cooked. Eh! No big deal, right? Wrong! It should have been a clue for us to pay for the fries and cut our losses. But we were hungry and did not want to find a new spot to eat. We even ordered another bread. We waited and waited, and just when I was about to cut my losses and go home hungry - the food came out - it was 9:05p. If you're keeping track, that was 45 minutes. We ordered these entrees: shrimp pasta off of a special menu and steak (asked for medium) and "jumbo" shrimp with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. So, I can't believe it would take that long to prepare either meal. The pasta meal was good. The steak and shrimp meal was damn near cold when it came out. Now, the plate was warm, the food was not. I've never received a steak where the steak was sitting so long that fat began to firm up. The steak was lukewarm to touch. Even the juices had dried up. For a steak cooked medium, there should still be some moisture.The mashed potatoes had that weird skin on it. The brussel sprouts came out in a separate bowl. The sprouts were piping hot yet completely undercooked. When I think about this experience, it paled in comparison to the other location. Now that I think about it, we even had to ask for silverware, and we never got the small plates to share the app (no big deal). Could it be that this location is busier that service was slow, food was subpar and the dining experience lacked? Possibly. But, this is not the first time this has happened to us at this location, so I blame myself. (But I've also had a great server there once and I sent an email to her manager stating so). And no, I didn't ask for a manager because at that stage, what would be a remedy for me? Wait another 40 minutes for food? So, I bagged up my food and ate it the next day. Hopefully, management at this location sees the reviews and adjusts accordingly. read more

The parmasan trout and bone in pork chop were amazing, the chef was even kind enough to offer a sauce substitution with the pork chop sauce. The bourbon sauce was wonderful. My son & I love this restaurant! The staff I& management are amazing. Everyone here is always over accommodating. The bread is one of the best things on the menu. I typically like Balsamic ginger & EVOO w/pesto but they don't have Balsamic. The server offered Red Wine vinegar and it was great! We both ordered the Salmon (blackened) with Jasmine rice & asparagus. You know how you want your asparagus to have that right amount of crunch and not "flop over" when you pick it up? My sister and I met our two Aunties yesterday at Bonefish Grill in Concord. We all got the summer special of pineapple glazed, grilled shrimp on top of coconut risotto with crushed macadamia nuts. Everything was so yummy and fresh. We all wished they would have removed the tails. That was really messy and aggravating. The manager stopped by while we were all trying to get the tails off without wasting shrimp. He commented that he wished they would remove the tails too. (?!) Maybe that is Chef driven? Kellie provided great service and didn't try to rush us out. Bonefish still automatically provides complimentary bread and oil. Most places either make you ask or it is a charged item. Sat at the bar for a late lunch after shopping. Ba'sia was the bar tender. She was very attentive while she was working on restocking the bar. I didn't feel as if she was too busy or anything. I ordered the Cajun scallop and shrimp entree from the seasonal menu (without tomatoes). The sauce was rich and creamy and just enough flavor to compliment the scallops and shrimp. Had a great dinner at Bonefish. It was a Wednesday evening around 6 PM. We were seated right away. Recommend starting with the bang bang shrimp appetizer. It was the table favorite. The waitress recommended the crab fries but we knew we would not have eaten dinner. They serve bread but we had to ask for it. I'm rating this based off my experience at the bar. I have been to this location with my boyfriend in the dining room and it wasn't my favorite experience. However the past two times I've been here I came solo after work to do some shopping in Concord Mills and Concord is a one stop shop for EVERYTHING. The service was great both times at the bar. This past week I stopped in and got the chimichurri filet with two premium sides that was on special. This time around, my steak came out perfectly cooked. My son asked for a table in the bar area. We were seated somewhere else. We were given old bread, it was not fresh. Had to ask for fresh. Our server was not personable and kept trying to rush us to order. My son ordered his food and he thought it was ok. She never acknowledged his birthday after I informed her and also the 3 hostesses upon arrival. I asked for a medium well steak filet. My 1st one came out over well. My 2nd one came out between medium rare and medium. I gave up on ordering any food. The manager DQ came over and apologized and asked if I wanted another steak or something else. I declined. I went to the bar, talk to the bartender for a while about drinks, what they had and what they didn't have, and how much it would cost. He told me what to tell my server and what to order. I let the server know what the bartender said and why I was ordering what I was ordering. The server came back and told me what they were out of. I guess forgetting the conversation her and I just had. When my bill came there were extra things added on and taken off, and my drink was way higher that what the bartender already told me. Not a good 1st look for my son with a chain that was my favorite! I started off my review with loyalty items being gone because that's how I'm starting to feel now.... gone. Went for dinner around 5:00 on a Saturday. Expected parking to be a little challenge given mall activity. I've gone here a few times and the service is very good. Barbie and Debbie, the managers, are amazing and will ensure your dining experience is a pleasant one. They were very attentive and friendly. I stopped in this afternoon for lunch with a friend. The hostess was friendly and polite and we were seated after a couple of minutes. The waitress did an excellent job, was also friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and all of the staff appeared to be on-point. Went to Bonefish to celebrate my birthday with friends. I was able to make reservations and although everyone didn't show up at the reservation time we were still able to be seated. There was a party of 7 and our server was very knowledgeable. Drinks, appetizers and food all came out very timely. This is place is really nice! Have eaten in person twice and enjoyed both. The first was for my birthday lunch and it wasn't crowded at all. Service was great. The second time was for dinner and it was more crowded but not too bad. We had a reservation which helped but I don't think you need one to get seated. On the weekends, it might be different. Service was not as great but they were crowded so didn't bother me too much. Food is delicious. Highly recommend the bang bang shrimp, so addictive. Brussels sprouts are also really delicious. I didn't get one but others at the table said the cocktails were pretty good. It has a nice atmosphere as well. A little too dark in there for my liking but honestly not that bad. Did get a little loud so just something to be aware of. Romantic for a date but also good for a just nice dinner for family or friends. Prices were pretty reasonable but on the higher end. HAD to have a night out, despite COVID! Was really pleased with the handling of the pandemic by this location. We requested outdoor seating which was honored. The heaters had to work overtime to combat the Zeta hurricane winds. Staff was super attentive. Our party of three was a bit rowdy and slow as we sipped many drinks. Our server didn't seemed moved. She was consistent and helped us order an unforgettable drink, the old fashioned. I HIGHLY recommend getting one. It's an "experience" with the whole smoke glass. Just trust me on this one. Food was good as expected from Bonefish. I sampled the imperial dip for the first time and it won't be my last. A swankier restaurant than I imagined, really dark and good for dates. Service was good, and really loved the bread and pesto dipping sauce to start. Wine selection was pretty swell too. I ordered the chilean sea bass, though none of the side sauces were appetizing to me, I went with the lemon butter. I then went with the premium sides of bacon mac and cheese and crispy brussels that had ham in it as well. Unfortunately, the sea bass was underwhelming as they just did not cook it well. It was a tragic mess to the fish. I did not finish it, such a waste of $! The crispy brussels, they just did too much to it, with all the sauce and junk so it just ruined the vegetable as well. Bacon mac and cheese, hard to go wrong, right? Killed it. Overall, for being a fish restaurant, and the sea bass being ruined, I give this place 3 stars. read more

As a rule, I don't eat at any restaurant with less than a 4 star review on Yelp. I have used Yelp for 12 years now and have rarely been let down. When I first found this place, it had a 4 star rating but for some reason as I write this it currently has a 3.5 star rating. We ate here for two of our dinners while in Concord. We know and trust Bonefish to provide us with a great meal and great service and both times it did not disappoint. The only weird thing was night #1 my wife and my entrees came out but our kids food didn't come out for another 10 minutes.. And they both ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp Appetizer as their entrée. I ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta both nights. I sure hope that finds a permanent spot on the menu. It was fantastic! read more

During my visit this location was top notch! I didn't get pictures, but I had the shrimp and scallops skewers with mango sauce. I got a salad with a side of asparagus. We have been to many a Bonefish Grill. Reservations were made and accomodated on time. We started at the bar then moved to our table. Brandy our server from Tennessee was awesome and very social she obviously could not control what and how things came out of the kitchen. Our appetizers of mussels, bang bang shrimp and calamari were hot and delicious that is where it ended. Dinners (potstickers) were cold and (ribeye) steak was way undercooked.
