My boyfriend and I eat here quite often, it is kind of expensive but it's SO worth it! The mussels are delicious, save the bread and dip it in the mussel sauce, trust me! I love how the fish changes quite often. One time they had Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon and it was literally the best salmon I have ever had! It was actually SALMON colored! Not pink like farm raised salmon all the other restaraunts have. I was like "This is what grizzly bears eat!" Love this place. read more

Favorite restaurant in northern KY! Fish tacos are the best and sauce is awesome. We ate on a Saturday night and wait was a bit longer than average because of homecomings and father daughter dances. Known for their BangBangShrimp but I'd say any type of fish is awesome. Bread served hot and soft with dipping sauce that is good. Got a desert to share because of wait time on this busy night. It was huge! Waitress was exceptional and worked very hard to ensure all customers were happy. Love LOVE this restaurant! read more

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and our server got our order wrong twice. We ordered 2 medium filets that came back well done and when we sent them back I'm fairly certain we got the same steaks back. When the second steaks came back leathery and cold we asked for a manager who offered a half assed apology and some chocolate. In short, we will never be back. read more

Bang bang shrimp was delicious appetizer. I ordered a mule the candied ginger inside was a treat. The food is a bit over priced for the amount of seafood given. And everything is served on a bed of lettuce really strange. The lobster was good but the meat was a touch on the near expired side not the fresh bite you'd expect for $17 bucks. Uninspired chain restaurant. This is the second of two visits I have made over the last two months, and again the food is tepid, over cooked and uninspired. Shrimp and scallops were over cooked last time. They put scalloped potatoes basically over the seafood, um it is called a side dish for a reason. This time the burger was over cooked and came with the incorrect sides. The fish tacos were sparse on the fish and drippy. The "truffle" mac and cheese was not worth the extra money. Also truffles aren't any part of this dish and cannot be substitiuted with portobellos. The bang bang shrimp was lukewarm and the highlight of the "dining experience" here. We noticed servers and managers taking full plates of food from the tables and yet no one boxed anything leftover to-go, what does that tell you. And like the previous reviewers, the brown butcher paper tablecloths are tacky and annoying. We will not be back. read more

This is a regular stop for me and my husband. We love the bang bang shrimp and the ahi tuna. However, tonight we walked in and got a seat at the bar which is our usual spot. Two bartenders were working behind the bar. Neither of them acknowledged us for a few minutes. Another couple came in and sat at the bar, a few minutes after us. The bartender went right up to them and asked what they wanted to drink. We waited a little longer and yet still neither bartender acknowledged us. They were not overly busy. Needless to say...we left without eating. read more

I had eaten at the Bonefish Grill in Franklin, TN and was very impressed. That made this location even more of a disappointment. I sat at the bar as I was traveling alone. The bartender provided adequate service but the dinner (salmon) was terrible for a restaurant that specializes in fish and seafood. I will be very wary of other Bonefish locations after this experience. read more

This place is great for dinner. The selection of fish is somewhat limited but what they offer is choice. Fish and shellfish are always fresh, fresh, fresh and well prepared. Appetizers are great, especially the ahi tuna, Bang Bang shrimp and the Mussels Josephine. This location is just outstanding for Happy Hour get-togethers. Service is upbeat and attentive. the wine selection is really good and Happy Hour drink specials make it even better. Love it. read more

My wife and I had went here in early June for dinner and was very happy with our meal, we ordered the mussels and fish and chips, the mussels were very fresh and the fish was too, I told my wife that i thought their fish and chips were probably the best in the area. We decided this past weekend we would go back for lunch since we had such a good experience. I wanted to order a half portion of the mussels, but they don't allow that, which was fine but having the waiter spend 5 minutes explaining to me why they don't do that was a bad start, so we placed our order of the fish and chips which came in about 10 to 15 minutes, which was ok with us, but the first thing I noticed was the fish seemed a little different than the last time I had it. We determined that the fish wasn't as fresh as the last time, we luckily didn't get sick, the breading on the fish seemed undercooked too. It tasted ok but by the end of our meal we both were kind of irritated at our waiter who never refilled our drinks. So the waiter gave us the check and we paid, right afterwards he shook our hands which i found very odd and unprofessional.After we paid and got ready to leave we noticed all the other tables had got served fresh bread with butter as a complimentary that we never got as well. If you want my advice either stick to dinner only here or go elsewhere. read more

Excellent! I had the tuna steak medium rare. Prepared perfectly! Our server was just outstanding and very knowledgable about everything (our group asked a lot of questions). We all were so full after eating but he somehow talked us into desserts. So glad he did because they were incredible! This is the 3rd Bonefish I have eaten at, and by far the best! read more

Most dishes are good, but don't get the Shrimp Pad Thai. When I got it, the noodles were not cooked enough, they were very hard. The sauce doesn't taste like authentic Pad Thai at all, maybe that's intentional. read more

The family and I went to Bonefish Grill this evening and arrived at 5:50PM and was told that it would be about 30-40 minute wait. Actually, it was 6:50 when we got seated. No big deal we can understand this part. When we did get seated the waiter took our drink order and appetizer order as well. We ordered our food when the appetizer was served. We waited 50 minutes and still no entrées. We left and then ordered pizza in for the night. Not a good experience. We may try another location another day. read more

First time at Bonefish Grill today; there for a family event - 12 people. The service was very good; servers were well trained on the menu including beverages and daily specials. However, I considered them a bit pushy, trying multiple times (4x or more) to entice us into appetizers. Several of the group took the bait. They were pretty good. The Ahi Tuna was good but not outstanding. I thought the tuna was over-sauced. The tuna flavor should come through but the sauces masked it somewhat. Entrees were quite tasty. I had the Bang Bang Tacos with spring mix greens; both were very nice. My wife had a chicken dish which was wood-cooked. It was good but had a slight fish taste. Perhaps the grill needs a good cleaning? Other entrees I tasted included the crab cakes (good) and fish tacos (not shrimp) which were very good. Finally, I was a bit put off by the servers who hinted (strongly) that an extra gratuity beyond the pre-added (albeit adjustable) 18% was encouraged and appreciated. Overall, I was pretty satisfied and would be inclined to return in the future. read more

The food for the most part should get 4 stars but the service drops it to 3. Here's what I liked/ loved: appetiser bang bang shrimp a cup of gumbo sword fish with lobster thermador sauce (which isn't always available) and I don't think they offer the sauce anymore :( scalloped potato's are excellent and finally end the meal with a creme Brulee Disappointments: Drinks are over priced but what do you expect it's a nice restaurant The service is what bothers me most. Last 3 times i visited this restaurant i have been unimpressed to the point of wanting to talk to a manager. (although I didn't go that far). The prices are high but it's a quality dinner so it's understandable, but to pay that much and have the poor service is bothersome to say the least. I get the gumbo cause they have a salad Cobb I think and it's horrible. My wife gets the Caesar for the same reason. I have eaten at a few other Bonefish Grills and the food has all been relatively good. Service was better at the other locations like the one in Indianapolis. read more

My wife and I decided to eat Valentine's Day lunch at Bonefish Grill. Our favorite is the sea bass and we were certinaly looking forward to an enjoyable lunch. It was extremely cold with a blustery wind so when we walked in and were greeted by the blond hostess, my wife immediately asked for a table or booth away from the front door. There were only a few patrons seated in the restaurant, but she took us only three tables down from the revolving door in the bar section so that when each person came in the restaurant we got a burst of cold air hitting us. She left the menus and walked away. My wife and I discussed how we had been treated by her and I asked if she just wanted to leave and eat somewhere else. So, we politely put on our coats and walked back out the revolving doors and enjoyed our Valentine's Day lunch at The Greyhound Tavern, where I must say the hostess was much more polite and considerate. We won't be back to the Bonefish Grill in Florence and for some reason I doubt that they give a flip. read more
