We arrived right at 11am on a Saturday when they opened. The workers were still setting up but when we walked in, we were greeted right away and walked to a booth with menus in hand. First time for us here and took us a bit to review the menu. A good variety. One thing that stood out was a Saturday lunch special. The lunch special is Monday thru Saturday from 11am -3pm. Good prices and a good variety to enjoy. It comes work a Coca Cola drink or iced tea and a side of a salad or soup. The tacos with bang bang shrimp is recommended. The fish and chips too. It's a good size portion and comes with fries. Service was good. Waitress was attentive. Plenty of parking outside on one side of town square. We had hoped for better. The food was ok. Just ok. The best part was the dip for the bread. The server was a bit messy (food in his uniform) seemed friendly enough, but he had accidentally spilled beer in the menu and table as he placed it down and made no move to help clean it up. After waiting a bit as he is asking us repeatedly to order I began cleaning it up while he watched. I also had asked that one of their mock tails be turned into a cocktail for me. He seemed to understand and asked what kind of shot they should add. But then brought the mocktail and a shot on the side instead of asking the bartendor to mix it at the bar as one drink. The tacos were on the bland side as the only flavors that stood out was the lettuce. Not sure how that works. Overall I'm disappointed and this is the first time I haven't fully tipped in decades. We were there for Social Hour. It wasn't super busy but bar area was 80% full. We tried AHI TUNA WONTON CRISPS and BLUEBERRY LEMON DROP. Tuna was fresh and very good. Had the mahi-mahi with the mashed potatoes and asparagus was pretty good. The mahi-mahi was a little bit overcooked for my liking. Also, the pork chop and bone was overcooked instead of bringing us mashed potatoes. We got regular round small potatoes and didn't get mashed potatoes till the mail was completed. First, a nod to the positive: the ambience is lovely, and the overall service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and our server (Christina) did a wonderful job. Now for the food, which is where my experience diverged. Several items I tried fell short on flavor. The blackened tacos, a burger, chowder and crab cakes all came across as bland. The sauce on the crab cakes was good, but take that away and it tastes like nothing. On a brighter note, the Bang Bang shrimp was good . Excellent flavor! After looking over the Mother's Day brunch, specials and regular menus, we decided to order family style, and everyone shared. I stopped by Bonefish Grill while waiting for my car service nearby on a Friday around lunchtime. It ended up being a convenient and overall decent experience. They offer a really solid lunch deal where you can pick a drink, a soup or salad, and a main which felt like a great value for the price. If you are in the area and looking for something easy and reasonably priced this is definitely a good option. Service was fine overall. I did not catch my waitress's name but she was kind. At times though the interaction felt a bit awkward for reasons I cannot quite explain. I had asked for my chicken to come with vegetables but it came out with fries instead. I chose not to say anything since I did not want food to go to waste or create extra work, though I do think they would have fixed it if I had spoken up. I was just trying to eat a bit healthier that day. The food itself was good enough but nothing particularly memorable. Inside there is plenty of seating along with a bar area and the place had a nice buzz going which made it feel lively. Overall I would say this is a solid choice if you are nearby and want to take advantage of the lunch special but it is not somewhere I would go out of my way for. read more

She suggested this place and although we missed happy hour we still we're not gonna skip out on the experience It was quiet overall just a few people at the bar.. the service was good overall we were acknowledged and we got served right away. The bartender made us some really great drinks. I think they were called a blue drop martini. It was super good not overly sweet. Then we had someone come and take our order and I ordered the imperial dip which was like a seafood dip. It was amazing and it came with warm tortilla chips and for my meal I ordered the salmon with jasmine rice and broccoli. Although that meal probably sounds simple. The flavors were great, BUT I did ask for the temp on my salmon to be medium, and it was definitely well done so it was a little bit drier than what I would like. I ordered it like that so that if I reheat it, it still won't be dry, but it came out pretty dry. I had only had bonefish once before in my life and I had it to go so this was a nice dine in experience. Way crowded, seating in large long tables of 12 plus and so close my chair was right against person behind me. The cocktails were not my style, very colorful sugary beach drinks. But the food was good, not skimpy portions and was all delicious. The advertised banana foster was Really a banana Sunday with Carmel sauce and fried wonton skins. Funny, Bonefish Grill does not exist in So Cal. Somehow I had a gift card for Bonefish Grill LOL. I literally had to wait until I traveled to Las Vegas to use the gift card. I finally used it! Ambiance was cozy. Lighting was slightly dimmed. I was seated at a bench-style table big enough for 4 people. I was dining solo so it was more than enough space. I needed the space though especially for the amount of dishes I ordered LOL. My server was a nice older gentleman. He didn't introduce himself and I didn't ask for his name. But I did see his name on the receipt at the end. I thanked him by his name for his service. I think he was surprised by that. Now onwards with my food... menu wasn't huge, but it had some great dishes. I was steering towards seafood and veggies. I ended up getting 3 items. Yes, 3! Why go small when I can go big?! I enjoyed them all. Bourbon Glazed Salmon was perfectly cooked. Roasted potatos was just divinely delicious. Asparagus was crisp and tasty. Bang Bang Shrimp was loaded with lots of shrimps like 20 of them (wholely shrimp LOL!)... that's why it's called Bang Bang Shrimp! Shrimp tasted great and sauce had a nice spicy kick to it, but I would have preferred less of the creamy, sweet, and spicy sauce. Brussel sprouts were amazing! My dinner was quite scrumptious. I had a pretty subpar experience at the Bonefish Grill in Town Square today. Our server was kind and attentive, but the constant aggressive upselling throughout the meal made things a bit uncomfortable for both me and my guest. The ambience also felt dated, and while the menu sounded promising, the execution fell short. They seem to hang a lot of their identity on the "Bang Bang Shrimp," which in reality was a greasy, overly heavy, deep-fried appetizer that didn't live up to the hype. For my entrée, I tried the Alaskan salmon with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were actually quite good, but the salmon--while cooked to a hot temperature--lacked flavor, and the pan-Asian sauce was thick, syrupy, and overly sweet. The mashed potatoes tasted unmistakably like instant potatoes, which was disappointing. On the positive side, I did enjoy the classic French 75 I ordered and it was well-balanced and not overly sweet. the beverage that my guest ordered was delicious as well. I will also say my guests rainbow trout dish was quite tasty, and I would try that, if I returned. Great Spot for Fish and Seafood. I stopped into this Bonefish location the night before an early flight. I was looking for a meal on the lighter side, and Bonefish delivered. The server in the bar area where I sat was very attentive and suggested I start with a lobster bisque and then Ahi Tuna for my main. The bisque came quickly with a piping hot serving of Bonefish's bread. My main came out quickly as well since Ahi Tuna, for the most part, is served rare. She took the wheel and her trainer stayed close by in case she needed assistance. The service was fast and she kept coming to check up on us which I appreciated. Food: After looking at the menu, we settled on sharing the ocean mixed grill which serves 2. It comes with a choice of salad, chowder or bisque per person and then wood grilled salmon, wood grilled mahi mahi with chimichurri, wood grilled shrimp with a mango salsa and seared ahi tuna. You also get 2 sides to share and we got potatoes au gratin and bacon mac and cheese. My mom's favorite was the mahi mahi. She said it was cooked just right and she loved the chimichurri. I loved the ahi tuna. It was seared well and the sauce gave it just the right kick but I would've loved more sauce with it. For the sides, the potatoes were rich and creamy but just a bit to thick for me. The mac and cheese had a white sauce. It tasted good but for bacon mac and cheese I would've loved a bit more bacon. Overall, this was well worth the money and filled us up. We will be coming back to try more things. read more

Fabulous dinner for one at BFG. I LOVE the Bang Bang Shrimp and since I don't have that restaurant near me I get my fix when I can. I had the Shrimp and ordered a Palmer Margarita along with a Shaved Brussel side salad. Bread with an olive oil parmesan pesto dip is always served. My experience at this location is always excellent. I live on the opposite side of town from this location, so I don't normally go to this one, but when I do it's a good experience. The staff is always helpful with the menu, friendly, and have great personalities. The last time I was there my friend and I decided to sit at the bar to have a different aesthetic. The bar feels has more of a happy-hour or brunch vibe because the rest of the restaurant has more of a mid-scale steakhouse vibe. The bartender (from August) was fantastic. They have removed some things from their menu, just note before you go. And, the piece of trout that I got today had so many bones still in it I couldn't even finish half of it, just wasn't worth it. Caesar side salad had some wilted and browning lettuce. Yuck! But I'm thinking because they like to serve it like cold that it's sitting in a refrigerator somewhere and that's what's making it wilt. Maybe they stopped doing that, just my suggestion. Deal going in with my other diners was if it's not good this time we don't go back, so looks like we're not going back, ever again! Bonefish is our favorite place to eat at Town Square. We like that it's a standalone building which makes it easy to park and not deal with the shopping center parking. This place is fabulous, elegant restaurant with really delicious food. Our ultimate favorites include: Bang ,bang shrimp ( a MUST HAVE) and Atlantic Grilled Salmon with broccoli and crispy potatoes . Excellent food reasonably priced for the quality and their seafood was perfectly prepared and flavorful. For dessert, we really love Drunken Coconut Pie (get it!). It's served warm and best not shared. Overall: we have never had a bad experience here and the service is always attentive and friendly. We highly recommend this place! Came here for the wine tasting event because of what a good deal it was! $70 for 4 dishes and a wine pairing with each. I had such high hopes but the night was kind of chaotic. Service was to start at 6:30 but they seemed to be busy and running behind. No water was offered and we didn't have a set server, seemed to be multiple serving this specific event. Items were just dropped off without any explanation or real conversation from the servers. The food was okay. Spinach salad was decent. The shrimp and scallop risotto was what i looked forward to the most but it came out cold. The risotto was also undercooked. The filet came out next with no one asking what temperature we preferred. It also came out cold. The dessert was also just okay and we were not impressed with the wine selection. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
