Bryan our waiter was helpful with explaining menu items I didn't understand. food came out fast. music that was playing had some bangers and even golden from K-pop demon hunters came on and the whole family was dancing. my 10 year old was pretty excited to be eating with only his hands and even my 6 year old who got Mac & cheese wore a bib for fun. I ordered a soft shell crab po' boy. After we were finished and waiting on desert Davis the manager came from the kitchen, showed off Larry the Lobster! I was excited to finally try this place because I drive by it all the time. It was date night so we decided to try it. We ordered 2 king crab boils with the sweet n tangy sauce-mild,seasonal veggies and a red potato/corn. It was on special $45 ea because the server said the king crab didn't come in as big as they usually do. So she did warn us. I was very disappointed. They were soooo small- and the seasonal veggies literally consisted of 3 slices of carrot, one floret of cauliflour & 2 Tiny florets of broccoli. We probably should have ordered something else. I haven't been here since Joe's Crab Shack. My friend claimed Angry Crab was great 4 years ago, so he wanted to try again. So we went there at 7pm. Barely any cars or customers. Once I sat down, he gave some menus, walked away, then it took a minute for him to return. I inquired about the Friday, AYCE seafood boil. He didn't even know yall had that special going on. He returned with that menu now. He also explained all parties had to pay the minimum $45 price. We had a child with us, we asked, even him? He said yes. Mind you the child is 6 y.o. He took our drink order and ran off. Then moments later, a female employee asked if we got our drink order, yes we did. I proceeded to ask her the ayce special, she was unsure if they still had it. She returned stating they were not participating in because of the holiday weekend. I get that buuuuut, nowhere does it say that. Also did you not want customers? Because there were only 4-5 groups, it was pretty dead for a Friday night. They all probably went to a proper ayce seafood spot. So yeah, we got our food, in a decent amount of time. But there was a reason it came out so fast. The seafood boil flavor was okay, nothing too crazy about. The shrimp however, lacked anything close to freshness. It tasted like they boiled it earlier in the day, someone forgot it, so it overcooked, removed it and kept it warm in a steamer. Yeah that tough and dry. That shrimp was so tough, you could substitute for a door stopper. So tonight has a serious lack of communication and the food was not very satisfactory. I know why I avoided Crab Shack and now Angry CS. Overall, would I come back? Nah, I'd rather risk it all at 1 star Chinese buffet. read more

First TIme Shrimp Boil Here! You have to try this atleast once in your life. I always imagined experiencing this at a picnic table outdoors near a beach but this place came close with the decor. Restaurant had beach vibes all over including a large shark literally on top of their station area. Writing all over walls like you would probably see in some hole in the walls by the beach somewhere. Im sure the seafood is frozen coming in ... I mean we do live in the desert... so with that I crossed my fingers hoping everything was going to taste as fresh as one can possibly hope for. They have a generous menu, you should ask the server about the concept, they will give you the run down. They offer single plate options and of course different styles of boils, including the spice levels. I went all out, diving in with bib and plastic gloves to work for my food LOL. It was a good portion for a single dish with the addition of sausage and we added a side of fries and a glass white wine ( Sutter Home ) dont expect more- this of course is about the seafood and good line of beer. WOW flavor was great! I actually could not finish everything. Food does get cold quickly which takes away from the flavor and heat. By the time I got through cracking on piece of crab, most of the shrimp was lukewarm to cold. Fries were great ( lemon pepper ). Service - mediocre, staff were focused on the basket ball game as they were standing around watching tv. I was out of wine and no offer for another glass, did not get back to us on upcharge, forgot our bill because of game... Hubby and I had to get up for this.... dont expect high quality service from here but our server was friendly. Not sure if I would go back specifically to this location but will indeed like to experience another boil in another setting! read more

1st time here and they did not disappoint, we celebrated our parents birthday and anniversary. Large group of 15? We did call ahead to make a reservation for our party. We did plan ahead as well so no mix ups when we ordered. We did the neighborhood boil and added on a pound of crab, shrimp, and 1/2 dozen eggs. We did also order chicken wings, calamari, fish and chips and a lobster roll. Food came out hot and cooked just as ordered, everything was delicious and enough food to feed everyone. Very spacious restaurant, lots of parking and the staff was amazing especially since we had a large group. We've already planned to visit again. They also gifted dessert to the birthday guests and again nothing short of delicious. If you're in Henderson and looking for a Cajun boil or some good seafood off the strip, stop in and give it a go. Came here on a Saturday around 3 p.m. and honestly, the nearly empty parking lot should've been our first clue. The ambiance was super casual and kind of weird, and the booth seating was all scratched up. Water was served in paper cups, which wasn't a huge deal, but definitely added to the overall vibe. We ordered the seafood boil for two with a side of grits. The grits were completely runny -- like actual soup. We let them sit for a while hoping they'd thicken up, but they never did. Totally inedible. As for the seafood boil, the best thing in it was honestly the corn. The snow crab was decent, shrimp was okay, but the lobster tail looked gray and immediately gave me the feeling that I probably shouldn't finish it unless I wanted to risk getting sick. Service was mid at best, nothing terrible but definitely not enough to make up for the food. Overall, this just wasn't a good experience for us. We won't be back and unfortunately can't recommend it. read more

Poor service. Rainy day, hardly any customers yet it seemed like employee meals took priority to customers. And to charge one dollar for a potato the size of a shrimp, insane. Top it off with the 12-13 min o sat there waiting when I place my order in advance to AVOID WAITING more than 5 minutes. Also received random extra sauce that I did not request that was intended for a table. The location is familiar because I came here when it used to be Joe's Crab Shack. Anyways, we came in shortly after 3pm on Monday. Julia was our server and she was fantastic! For appetizers, we got the fried oysters, cajun fries and soppin' bread. The oysters were my favorite and I loveeeee how spicy the sauce was! My partner got a bloody mary which he very much enjoyed. I had iced coffee which was great. I ordered the mixed bag special Shack trio with lemon pepper. My partner built his own seafood boil with queen crab and naked shrimp with a side of trifecta. The lobster was meaty and succulent. Crab legs, shrimp, potato and corn were all so flavorful and delicious too. My partner really liked his meal as well. UPDATE: On our second visit, Mark treated us very well. He is an excellent server; helpful, knowledgeable and provided plenty of soda refills. We ordered a variety of food including the Shack Trio, the Queen crab, Shrimp Cocktail and a house salad. The Shack Trio, served with a corn cob and small potato, included a little lobster tail, some snow crab legs and a half pound of headless peel and eat shrimp. The small lobster tail was properly cooked, the crab legs were very good and the shrimp were delicious. The Queen crab was big and tasty. The shrimp cocktail included 10 plump juicy shrimp and delicious horseradish cocktail sauce. My wife said she had to take a break just eating that! The house salad included tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, a spring mix, and housemade ranch dressing. The interior is nicely decorated. They have a bar and lots of seating options. Televisions all over the place showing a variety of sports and entertainment. Will, a manager, came by to check on us. He was very nice. The fried cornbread with ice cream dessert is amazing! My boyfriend and I went 5/23 and were super excited since we haven't eaten a seafood boil before. We got the shellfish sampler with two boiled eggs and steamed rice with the trifecta mild spice. Service was great. Only downside is WE JUST RECOVERED FROM GETTING FOOD POISONING. We drove an hour 45 to try this place and left with a virus!! There were a few tables taken, 2 workers for the tables and I believe there's 2 ppl in the kitchen. Service was a bit slow and I can see the workers are hustling to get to everyone. We wanted to do 1/2 lb of this and that and was told that we have to order 1 lb of one item before we can do 1/2 order. Never had that happened before. We knew that ordering 1.5lbs of shrimp with other items will be too much and it was. We ended up taking half home. Shrimp was good and enjoyable. Garlic noodle was a bit greasy. Not bad! Prices were good (they have the prices visible for you when you take a seat). Seafood was juicy and there was enough meat. My first time trying crab legs and they were easy to open and tasty. My only issue was the mussels had no meat in them at all. They probably fell out during the cooking process. Was somewhat disappointed since I paid for them. Our server was very kind and cool. We got sat immediately upon arrival. Ambiance is bar-like and lively. Kind of didn't enjoy the in-person photographer... felt awkward and you feel a bit pressured to buy something once they set the framed photos down on your table. Angry Crab Shack is another addition to seafood boil spots in Vegas. It's located off of Sunset Road and was easy to find. The restaurant itself is quite large including a massive patio and bar area. They had TVs throughout the restaurant and played good music. We were immediately greeted by Andrew and brought to a booth. Andrew also was our server and he provided great service throughout our meal. I ordered the lunch special seafood boil bag. It was a really good deal for 1/2 lb of crab and 1/2 lb of shrimp with corn, potato, and a soda for $15. I ordered it mild with the trifecta sauce. The sauce was spicy and had a good burn to it, I was happy I didn't get medium because the mild was plenty spicy. I also added on a side of rice. The crab legs were bigger than snow crab and were meaty. The shrimp was good because they were deveined and partially peeled so they were easy to eat. My son ordered the cod kids meal with fries. It was a good size portion of fish and chips and came with a drink. We were pretty full but Andrew convinced us we had room for dessert so we got vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce which was the perfect ending to our meal. I would definitely return to Angry Crab Shack. The lunch specials they offer are really good and they have a pretty extensive menu. Great food and excellent service. read more
