Brian one of the best servers

Brian, Berto, and Kenzie have been an amazing part of my travel experience when I'm in Vegas. I've been to this location now three times and when traveling for work why not enjoy a crab dinner? Well, I've also gone to three other locations and I can honestly tell you if you're looking for flavor with spice and not to mention incredible service this is your place.

    The shellfish sampler

My boyfriend and I went 5/23 and were super excited since we haven't eaten a seafood boil before. We got the shellfish sampler with two boiled eggs and steamed rice with the trifecta mild spice. Service was great. Only downside is WE JUST RECOVERED FROM GETTING FOOD POISONING. We drove an hour 45 to try this place and left with a virus!! Would recommend if you want to take a gamble with your health. Our server was amazing tho. But would not go back here again.

1st time here and they did not disappoint, we celebrated our parents birthday and anniversary. Large group of 15? We did call ahead to make a reservation for our party. We did plan ahead as well so no mix ups when we ordered. We did the neighborhood boil and added on a pound of crab, shrimp, and 1/2 dozen eggs. We did also order chicken wings, calamari, fish and chips and a lobster roll. Food came out hot and cooked just as ordered, everything was delicious and enough food to feed everyone. Very spacious restaurant, lots of parking and the staff was amazing especially since we had a large group. We've already planned to visit again. They also gifted dessert to the birthday guests and again nothing short of delicious. If you're in Henderson and looking for a Cajun boil or some good seafood off the strip, stop in and give it a go. Our family said this place is a 10/10!

Great food and drinks are spot on with a fun crew serving and tending bar! Kenzie was awesome and very attentive. We saw a post in FB and decided to support local and in addition they honored the veterans discount too. Food was very well prepared and tasty with great portions! We will be back!

My partner was craving crab legs and we figured let's try something new and different.. so we came across Angry Crab Shack! The location is familiar because I came here when it used to be Joe's Crab Shack. Anyways, we came in shortly after 3pm on Monday. Julia was our server and she was fantastic! For appetizers, we got the fried oysters, cajun fries and soppin' bread. The oysters were my favorite and I loveeeee how spicy the sauce was! My partner got a bloody mary which he very much enjoyed. I had iced coffee which was great. I ordered the mixed bag special Shack trio with lemon pepper. My partner built his own seafood boil with queen crab and naked shrimp with a side of trifecta. The lobster was meaty and succulent. Crab legs, shrimp, potato and corn were all so flavorful and delicious too. My partner really liked his meal as well. We are both really happy we came here and look forward to coming back! Excellent service and food.

Tiny potato that was not worth $1

Poor service. Rainy day, hardly any customers yet it seemed like employee meals took priority to customers. And to charge one dollar for a potato the size of a shrimp, insane. Top it off with the 12-13 min o sat there waiting when I place my order in advance to AVOID WAITING more than 5 minutes. Also received random extra sauce that I did not request that was intended for a table. Oh and let's not forget the bag wasn't shut so one wrong move would have sent the entire seafood boil everywhere. Terrible

UPDATE: On our second visit, Mark treated us very well. He is an excellent server; helpful, knowledgeable and provided plenty of soda refills. We ordered a variety of food including the Shack Trio, the Queen crab, Shrimp Cocktail and a house salad. The Shack Trio, served with a corn cob and small potato, included a little lobster tail, some snow crab legs and a half pound of headless peel and eat shrimp. The small lobster tail was properly cooked, the crab legs were very good and the shrimp were delicious. The Queen crab was big and tasty. The shrimp cocktail included 10 plump juicy shrimp and delicious horseradish cocktail sauce. My wife said she had to take a break just eating that! The house salad included tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, a spring mix, and housemade ranch dressing. The interior is nicely decorated. They have a bar and lots of seating options. Televisions all over the place showing a variety of sports and entertainment. Will, a manager, came by to check on us. He was very nice. The fried cornbread with ice cream dessert is amazing! Overall, we are glad we came back and look forward to our next visit!

I went home dreaming about that damn Gumbo, so much that it's why I returned for again to get some! This isn't like your traditional Gumbo. It's doesn't have seafood pieces, just stripped juicy chicken and flavorful sausage, rice, onions all in a savory broth that isn't too salty. My husband went with a Fried Catfish Po Boy, his weakness. The Po Boy was loaded with the fried catfish on a large roll, a good value for $14. Unfortunately, my husband thought one of his favorite foods was just okay. He said the bread wasn't special and the flavors were okay. Again, there wasn't anything wrong with it, but it wasn't something he'd order again. The Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was okay, but not as bold on flavor and seasoning as I expected from a gumbo. The gumbo did have a soupy consistency with plenty of large pieces of chicken and a celery flavor. I felt the same as my husband did about my dish. Good, but not something memorable. Overall, I love to support local business so if I see them around at another event I'd be willing to try some of their other menu options. The Boudin Ball Po Boy and Louisiana Purchase both sounded interesting.

I have always enjoyed not only the food, location, but the excellent service. So being hungry one evening I thought to go again as I had been there in awhile. It was lovely weather so I sat outside on the tavern side as it was fairly crowded and I didn't have a reservation. I don't care to sit inside as the restaurant side is very noisy. The inside of the tasteful bar side is quieter. I have eaten there in the past and felt very comfortable. I ordered The Herbalist: Prairie organic gin, fresh lime, muddled basil & mint. I had it with vodka, per the waitress's suggestion. It was ok, but the overpowering taste of mint reminded me of a mint mojito with lime overtones, and the basil wasn't even a footnote. If you do like mojitos though, then this would be good if you enjoy a twist of lime as your background notes. It leans to the refreshing versus cloyingly sweet. Stephanie, my waitress, asked how I liked the drink and when she found out I did not care for it, gallantly exchanged it with an Old Fashioned. No complaints on that drink. Great for sipping. I ordered the Blackened Wild Ono (Wahoo) with a Potato bun / cabbage slaw / cilantro / pickled onion / remoulade. I asked her to just put the bun on the side as I wanted to just enjoy the fish as I had not had it in ages. I realized it came with French fries and so I asked if they could make them extra crispy. The fish was blackened and so I expected some saltiness, but it was so overbearing and the fish itself was a bit overcooked. But because I was incredibly hungry, by time the fish came out, I decided I would just eat it. The Frenchfries were perfect, and the bread that came with my drink at the start of evening helped to soak up the saltiness along with my water. When it came time for the check, Stephanie asked me how the Ono was. I let her know that her service was impeccable (it really was, (very patient, professional, and caring), but that in the future maybe to not salt the fish so much and to not grill/sear so long. My only intent was trying to just be helpful for the next customer. When she came back she said she talked to her manager and they would not charge me for the Ono! I was surprised of course as I had eaten it and most of the fries. But she said they just wanted to make things right. I have to say I was very surprised and grateful with the care that they continue to express with their customers. Thank you for making my evening Stephanie and King's Fish House. I will be back.

We purchased the All-You-Can-Eat option, but we only received one round of food because our server never came back to check on us. We arrived at 6:30 PM, and by 8:27 PM we were still waiting just to place a second order. During that entire time, we watched our server repeatedly check on other tables while completely skipping over ours. What made the situation even more frustrating was that two tables that arrived after us had their orders taken before us and were able to order multiple additional rounds, while we were still waiting just to be acknowledged. When the server finally came back, it was only to ask if we wanted dessert. I explained that I didn't want dessert because it had taken so long just to try to place another order. At that point, after nearly two hours, we still had not been helped or given the opportunity to fully use the all-you-can-eat option we paid for. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. We came expecting good food and service, but the lack of attention and inability to speak with a manager made the situation even worse. I hope management takes customer service more seriously in the future so other guests don't have the same experience. We finally had the chance to speak with the manager and he said that all he can do for us charge us Al a carte or take off one order off.
