My niece and I decided to try LongHorn Steakhouse in Henderson for dinner, and since it was our first visit, we weren't sure what to expect. From the moment we walked in, we had a great experience. The host greeted us right away and seated us immediately. Our server came over shortly after with menus, took our drink order, and was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I ordered the Patron Dragon Fruit Margarita, and it was absolutely delicious. There were so many things on the menu that sounded good, so I ended up ordering the Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Mashed Potatoes, and the Parmesan Crusted Lamb Chops. It was definitely more food than I needed, so dessert wasn't happening, but I have no regrets! Everything came out quickly, was cooked perfectly, and had great flavor. The lamb chops were tender, the sides were delicious, and the spinach dip was a great appetizer to share. Our server checked on us regularly without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a really enjoyable dining experience. So I'll just start by since Longhorn opened in Vegas we have been frequents at least 2-4 times a month. Me and my fiancé love the food. However lately the service has been lacking. We waited about 15 minutes for someone to come to our table today. And then waited a long time for the food as well. We are still going to be frequent customers but I think management should do better at checking on the tables to ensure people aren't unhappy regarding their service. The people at the table next to us also stated their food was cold. Luckily our food was good as it always is (minus once with weird Mac and cheese). Also I work in food and there are a decent amount of employees chewing gum as well. Wife and made a visit to Longhorn on a random weds night for dinner as it's new to Vegas and I used to go all the time on the east coast. So I was excited! Host sat us promptly and friendly. Dining room had tables but nothing crazy. Server came over and introduced herself and asked what we wanted to drink. So we ordered our drinks and said we needed a minute with the menus. You can tell she was a younger and probably new server to the industry. Liquor and wine knowledge wasn't there. No big deal though. At least we know she's not a drinker lol! We ordered apps to start. J love the Wild West shrimp and wife ordered spinach dip. Both large portions and tasty! For dinner: Wifey ordered strawberry salad as an entree which was huge for a side salad! Ok I know this is a chain but what a great experience. All 4 of us loved our meal. The seasoning on the steaks was on point making them perfectly balanced. They had healthy side options that were also seasoned well. The Mac and cheese was on point too. The corn on the cob needed a better balance with the crema but was overall good. I actually wasn't expecting much when making a reservation at LongHorn Steakhouse. I find that chains can be very hit or miss. My family wanted steak and I like trying new places so we came in. We were sat right away and although it did take a minute for our server to greet us, she was pretty good and took care of us well. We also had a manager touch our table during the meal, a nice touch. It got really busy and our server was a bit missing at the end but we used the touchpad to pay and were on our way. The place is decorated nicely and the seating was comfortable and not too crowded. There are a mix of booths and tables. We were sat at a booth and it was nice and spacious. We ordered some cocktails and they were shockingly good. I was surprised at the great flavor and the strength of the cocktails. The food was really good at well. We ordered the fried onions (which my husband usually doesn't like) and they were excellent. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse for my fiances birthday and the experience was wonderful. This place has been on our bucket list for sometime now and we are so happy we finally got try them. We ordered the chicken strips and steakhouse Mac and cheese and the Outlaw Ribeye with Sweet potatoes and grilled corn on the cob , and both were amazing choices. The chicken strips were soft and juicy and seasoned well (all of their food is seasoned Texas style, so for those of you who are afraid of a little spice, ask for light seasoning). It was so good. The steakhouse Mac and cheese was alright but probably wouldn't get it again. (I'm picky on Mac and cheese). The Outlaw Ribeye was juicy and tender. The Texas style seasoning was all you really need as he barely touched the steak sauce although he did feel obligated to try it since he asked the server to bring it to the table. The grilled corn on the cob was good however the seasoning is only in one side of the corn and not all the way around. The sweet potatoes were good and loaded with butter and cinnamon sugar. (Sides are not included in meals and have to be purchased separately from the entree) but there is plenty to choose from. They start you off with fresh bread and butter. It was yummy. My fiancé got the Texas margarita for his birthday and it was potent. Alcohol is definitely noticeable. (Don't drink and drive) We also ordered two desserts to take home since we were in a food coma but the dessert were so tempting and we had to try them. We were torn on a couple so we got the strawberry and creme Shortcake and the Chocolate Stampede. The Strawberry and Crème Shortcake is OMG delicious . New favorite dessert and I am more of a chocolate girl. This was soft, sweet, juicy and to die for. So fresh. The chocolate stampede actually comes with two slices of cake and vanilla ice cream. Ok, so there are now 4 steakhouses on the Stephanie/Sunset intersection, 5 if you include the one in Sunset Station. Crazy, so if I were to choose 1 to go to and I didnt want to spend to much money, I would go to Longhorn. But I will say, if I wanted to spend the extra $$, I would go to Sonoma Cellar. Better all around there. But out of the other 4 chain steakhouses, I would choose Longhorn, as they have the best steaks. So to go to everything else we got, they did bring out complimentary bread, which was subpar, compared to the others. They need a better bread, and to not serve with cold butter. We found out they do not take reservations, so half of our party went early to get on the list. Food Longhorn has a typical steakhouse menu with some intriguing options. I went with the New York Strip with a bleu cheese crust, which was not on the menu, and a lobster tail. For sides, I went with a loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. The steak and lobster were both excellent. They were perfectly cooked. The potato and salad were fine, nothing too great. 5/5 Service Being Christmas Eve, we expected service to be slower. It really wasn't too bad. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks and food all arrived timely. 4/5 Ambiance LongHorn is pretty much brand new, so everything was clean. The Western decor screams authenticity, a hallmark of Longhorn steakhouses everywhere i assume. I've visited this restaurant three times since it opened, and two of those experiences were nothing short of spectacular. My first visit was marred by a lunch special--a chicken sandwich and a soup saltier than the Dead Sea. Yuck! But on my subsequent visits, I indulged in the "Tonions" and the Outlaw Ribeye, both of which were absolutely phenomenal. Service was always attentive, and welcoming. Longhorn has come to Vegas! This location is open in Henderson, and it was quite busy on a Saturday night with a 40+ minute wait. The dining room is almost all booth seating with only a few tables, and this is a great plus for those who prefer the more private booth seating. Our server was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive! I had the "Perfect Margarita" to start which was indeed quite good. I'm not a margarita expert, so I can't say if it was "perfect" or not, but it was good! We enjoyed the wild west shrimp appetizer. A large portion of crunchy shrimp which are extra tasty if you get a bite of a jalapeño pepper also. This is a classic and has always been our go-to starter at Longhorn. I went with the cowboy pork chops for an entree. I selected broccoli and a caesar salad as my side items. The salad was actually quite good and was served well chilled with a simple caesar dressing and fresh croutons. The pork chops were quite juicy and tender, but the seasoning coating was very salty. The broccoli was a bit overcooked and somewhat on the "mushy" side. Save room for dessert! We had the strawberries and cream shortcake. It's not really a shortcake and is more just a strawberry layer cake. It's a bit on the sweet side, but it was moist and tasty and perfectly sized to share. Overall, this was a great meal at Longhorn! This is a good option for a steak dinner if you don't want brave strip traffic for a strip steakhouse. read more

He recommended the Wild West Shrimp as an appetizer, which we both decided to try. I didn't care for the serrated steak knives, and even though we cut against the grain, our steaks ended up shredded, which made it harder to enjoy. The mac and cheese was really good, creamy with a nice roux-y texture, but the Caesar salad was nothing special. My husband had a loaded baked potato and fries; the potato was fine, and the fries were just fries. One thing I will say is that our waiter was attentive--he always refilled our drinks when he noticed they were getting low, which we appreciated. Overall, the food was just okay. I had never been to a longhorn steakhouse, so when I had the opportunity to go there for lunch I thought I would check it out. Place is warm and cozy, staff is exceptionally friendly, great seating does not feel cramped at all. You definitely want to make sure you're super hungry because they bring you out a plate of bread and butter which is to die for. I think I may have eaten 3/4 of the loaf myself. But it was totally worth it I ordered the longhorn Burger which was a half pound. Patty... With cheese and bacon. Make sure you get the bacon, it's thick, cut and absolutely delicious! Also got the fries with it, do yourself a favor. Order them well done at super crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Truly delicious. At this point you may be wondering why I didn't get it. Five stars. Easy answer. The burger itself was cooked perfectly, but the bun tasted like it was stale as some of the edges were almost too hard to eat. That's the only reason I knocked a point off. Other than that, this place is five stars. Bottom line? This is a great place for lunch and I will definitely be coming back again for dinner when I am in the mood for a big old steak. read more

We used to go to Longhorn alll the time when my daughter was little and have been missing it ever since we moved to the Vegas valley. This location opened just days before her birthday and, of course, she picked Longhorn for her birthday dinner. We were greeted immediately and, while we expected to wait for a table of 5, we were told it would only be about 30 minutes. We gathered around the bar and ordered cocktails. The old fashioned and dragon fruit margaritas are excellent and the bartenders were great! Unfortunately, after waiting over an hour, we still hadn't been seated and while we're patient, it was frustrating to see multiple groups who arrived after us being seated before us so, we finally asked the hostess about our status... her response was surprise that we were still waiting. After nearly an hour and a half, we were seated at a booth for 4 with a chair on the end. Of course, many tables cleared out soon afterwards and I'd have preferred to wait for one but we weren't given that option. As for the meal, it was wonderful, the food was even better than we remembered it. Got the firecracker wraps (the BEST) and onion petals. We all ordered steak and baked potatoes and they were excellent, steaks cooked precisely as we ordered them. Our waiter was hilarious and so much fun, even though he'd had a busy night. Their Flo's Filet and and Outlaw Ribeye are two of the most popular steaks on the menu. My bone in ribeye is seasoned very well and so juicy as I had it medium well. Brussel sprouts also delicious! My boyfriend has the 7oz long horn salmon with 8 Redrock grilled shrimp with rice, broccoli and very well-seasoned French fries. We enjoyed our food and our first time experience at the restaurant was positive and looking forward to coming back again soon as we are locals. Our beautiful server of the night was Jordyn (with the " Y "). She was very friendly, informative about the food, passionate and upbeat. Definitely will ask for her table and shift again! FINALLY! I have waited 20 years for Vegas to get a Longhorn! This has always been my favorite steakhouse chain. We walked right in and were seated promptly. We were eating a very late lunch though. The decor is rustic western. A nice clean new restaurant. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. Once seated we were immediately given a loaf of bread to munch on. The bread was good and fresh. We started with the wild west shrimp. They were really good! We all ordered flo's filet. They were all cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. We also all got a ceasar salad and it was good minus us all noticing it tasted a bit like soap. That was weird. The sweet potato was delicious, the fries were great, the mashed potatoes were excellent. The sweet tea was a bit watered down. Every refill we got seemed to get more watered down. Food-terribly too salty! Cook needs to reduce seasoning. Service was good, server was busy with many tables but always checked in, need a bus person to help her bring drinks & things. Ambience not so much, kind of boring. read more
