Drink program also seemed to take a step down from where it was last few times I was here. Bonefish becoming only really good for the Bang Bang Shrimp and literally nothing else. I swear a couple years ago this place was decent. It's becoming harder and harder to find decent food at this price point. This was my first time to this restaurant and I wasn't sure what to expect since the menu/prices were significantly lower then what I expected from a place serving steak and lobster. Stop by for lunch while visiting out of town. Came in for my girlfriend's birthday. So we started out with some appetizers. We had reservations but once we got there we didn't really need them. There wasn't to wait to be seated. We were seated once we got there and our server came pretty quick right after. We started with the bang bang shrimp and the calamari and we also got the crab cakes. So all the food came out rather quick. Appetizers were all really good. The bang bang shrimp was a recommendation and that was delicious. I had lunch here the other day. I sat at the bar and was the only person sitting there. The waiter ignored me even though he saw me sitting there. He finally came over and had a I don't want to be here attitude. I ordered my food and they always ask if I want bread. Not that day. I ordered the Fish Tacos, and to my surprise, they still had them on the menu. I was really tempted to order them again. But, I convinced myself to try something new! We also came during Happy Hour. So, we ordered 2 drinks each. We both tried the Blueberry Lemon Drop. And, I ordered the Coconut Crush, and he ordered a Blue Moon. We both loved our meals! We tried each other's food, because sharing is caring, duh! And, we loved everything! The meals were hot, fresh, tasty, and well-seasoned. I will say though, the Mahi-mahi was a little on the dry-side. But, it was seasoned so well that it wasn't too big of a deal. And, my Fish & Chips were spectacular! If y'all have read any of my previous reviews about the Fish & Chips meals I got from other restaurants, then you know that I was disappointed because it was hard for me to find a restaurant who's fish batter I thought was tasty. However, I didn't like that it wasn't garnished. The Coconut Crush came with a pineapple leaf and pineapple. The Blueberry Lemon Drop could've came with a toothpick with a blueberry and lemon on it. Just saying... Aesthetics matter! The Coconut Crush was alright tasting. But, it tasted too much like pineapple juice, and I really couldn't taste the coconut or orange. Three of us went to dinner at the Town Center location. The restaurant is a very attractive modernist operation that has a comfortable feel as you enter. We were greeted cordially by the hostesses although one of the hostesses had a very bad habit of leaning on the podium while talking to us and from where we were seated I'm not sure that that she ever moved from that position. The server was a charming young woman who was very attentive as we sat down and ordered cocktails. As a former chef it bothered me greatly that all of the service staff were wearing double breasted chef coats as their uniform. Restaurant was extremely loud due to all hard surfaces throughout plus we were seated near a group of 9 guys who lost their volume control the more they drank. Out party ordered the salmon, the cod and I had the fruit de mar over pasta. The cod and their salmon were OK but neither of them were completely finished. The fruit de mar had mussels, shrimps and scallops in linguine alfredo. Many of the mussels had broken shells, with shell fragments left in, the scallops were nice but the shrimp were precooked and barely warm. Unfortunately the pasta had absolutely no seafood flavors. It would have been much better if the pasta had been in sauteed with the seafood before adding the alfredo sauce. Overall the service was good but food marginal My biggest complaint was that two of the servers and one bus person were working in the dining room while chewing what appeared to be mass quantities of gum. Bonefish Brunch service: They're a pretty popular brunch spot on Sundays and the staff is well prepared for the rush. Servers have always been friendly overall (some muuuch better than others) and the kitchen gets the dishes out timely during consistently packed brunch rushes. There's a fully stocked bar and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Clean modern bistro style seating for makes for a nice dining experience. The servers wear crisp white chef coats and are helpful with ordering. Bonefish Brunch Cuisine: The Bang Bang Shrimp is my favorite starter on the brunch menu. Packed with flavor and with their creamy spicy sauce, this gets ordered just about every visit. The Thai Coconut Shrimp is another hit shrimp dish here. I"ve ordered the wagyu burger with egg numerous times and every time has been a filling and tasty experience. I've had the California omelette when i was feeling healthy and it's pretty delish considering it's a 'healthy' option. All the dishes I've sampled throughout the brunch visits have been prepped well overall. Some visits have included bottomless mimosas and the staff has been pretty good with keeping the glasses fresh. It does get packed in here during brunch so it's going to be a little noisy. I wanted to like this place, I really did! It started out good, the waiter had a shadow she was training so it's good to see the restaurant industry picking up after Covid. The place was very busy and it felt good to be around other people! We ordered the Josephine mussels and broth was a little sweet. I thought the quantity they give you was fair and my dining partner and I ate them readily. My issue with bonefish grill was the mahi mahi and shrimp dinner I ordered. The menu promised "jumbo shrimp" and in my minds eye I thought they would be more impressive than the U40s that ended up on my plate. I can buy these type of shrimp from the grocery store and cook them up easily on my own grill in my backyard. The coleslaw side was also just regular old coleslaw, when I thought it would be a little more special. But the real issue is the mahi mahi. Our waiter told us the managers get the fish in fresh every morning but I do not believe that after having eaten this fish. The fish was tough, like overcooked tough. It was dry. I could have used a knife to cut through it. Even more, the fish seemed like it was previously frozen and the little ramekins of sauces could not save this fish. I don't know, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I was expecting expertly cooked quality fish since this place has the word 'fish' in its name. Zero Service. Zero Concern. An hour and a half - No Food, No Drinks!!! I would never recommend this place! I made reservations at 6:45 for two. When we showed at up 6:30 the line to check in was insane and took 15 minutes. Everyone around was upset. After checking in we went to waiting area and stood until we were seated at 7:20. Once we were seated it was 20 minutes until I flagged down a waitress to take our order. We ordered two drinks and two meals. At 8:00 our waitress brought us water. So at the end of it all, I took my girl out for a nice birthday dinner and waited an hour and a half for two glasses of water. We left and went next door to Lazy Dog where we got incredible service and prompt food. read more

After our Mother's Day visit and review, Bonefish Grill Management contacted me to discuss my experience and offered to mail me "lures" which are cards you can redeem at the restaurant towards your bill. Not exactly gift cards, as they sell those online and at the venue. We got the lures within the next three days and set them aside. Fast forward to June, we wanted to go out to celebrate our anniversary and remembered the lures. We figured we liked the food and to give it another shot. Convenience is so important nowadays, the ability to create your reservation online is always going to be a winner for me. We arrived a few minutes before our reserved time and the restaurant was busy, packed on a Saturday night right around dusk. When we checked in, we were seated right away and the host greeted us saying "Happy Anniversary"! This was because I indicated the occasion when I made the online reservation. This time we were seated in the main dining area in a booth. I was bummed that the lobster and shrimp roll was out, but we were very pleased with the Chilean sea bass with spinach and broccoli. We ordered the crab cakes which had a kick to them, a little spicy for us, but we ate it all. We shared soup and salad, and the Chilean sea bass with spinach and broccoli. I like when restaurants split your meal for you. We tend to do that a lot because we want to order more things. The plating was a little messy but the food was good. I was happy that our silverware was actually clean this time. There were no flies zooming around since the patio wasn't open. The ambience is cozy and dark, but it's a great place for groups. There was a birthday going on next to us with a large party and they were having a great time. The restaurant accommodated their gift items on a separate table which was thoughtful too. It's funny how I've had much higher expectations for smaller, locally owned establishments than larger chains... I'm getting opposite results! Yes, we have a Bonefish in Phoenix and I know I'm on a mission to try LOCAL food while traveling, but I they had a $0.49 delivery fee on Uber Eats! And, I've actually never tried this one- though I've wanted to. I'm impressed. Especially for delivery! YUM! I mean, everything about this meal was great. I had the Cod Imperial- it seemed to be very popular. Though, the description is confusing. It isn't "stuffed" as the description suggests. It's more of that fancy crab & shrimp topping on a filet of cod. And either way- it was very good! The cod was cooked to perfection, flaky & tender, with minimal seasoning- which made it pair perfectly for the rich crab & shrimp topping. The broccoli also perfectly steamed & just lightly seasoned. The mashed potatoes, however, were a bit on the salty side. They are good, but just a little too much sodium for my preference. I wasn't expecting the serving of ciabatta bread & dipping oil! That was a fantastic surprise, and SO good! The bread was still warm, nicely crusted on the exterior while so soft & fluffy on the inside. I appreciate they pre-sliced it, too! The seasoned oil was also top notch. ...and then we get to the brownie. OMG! So, it's like they felt they needed to really stand out- and they achieved that. Guy Fieri's decadent cheesecake w/ potato chips & pretzels can kindly take a hike. This was WAY better! Macadamia nut chocolate brownie w/ a fudge topping that came complete with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, raspberry sauce & whipped cream. WOW!!! And, it is a very decent portion at the less than median standard price for a slice of basic cheesecake anywhere else! It is enough to split and serve two. This was just a delivery order and the presentation was good, the food itself was very good and it was less of a wait time than I had anticipated. Plus, the prices are more than reasonable. I feel like you actually get a lot of value with this menu. Bonefish is one I look forward to visiting in person and enjoying again! ...and, it was SO good I opted in for a second round! The vibe was really chill and the Asian female bartender that night was very friendly and based on that and from what I observed with another couple who ordered the cedar plank glazed salmon decided to bring the rest of my group back here as they wanted to grab dinner before heading to our hotel. Pictured is the special which was the cedar plank glazed salmon which as super moist and I did an up charge with the truffle Mac n cheese. The seasonal veggie were the green beans which were al dente and cooked to my liking. We chose the popcorn shrimp which hit the spot as the appetizer and the portion size was just right for our party of four. BG is definitely an upscale casual restaurant and service standards and friendliness by the restaurant team was evident during my initial and later visit that night. Slight deduction as our friend ordered a dinner Caesar salad but was given a small salad which was not caught until well after she started to eat it. Bonefish Grill has been my go-to lunch and dinner spot lately when I was looking for a healthier alternative, easy parking and convenient seating and reservations. They are always accommodating due to their large dining room. The service is spectacular and I feel well-cared for. They offer complimentary bread with pesto to start and it's super warm and yummy. The crab cakes appetizer is a must have and is the best I've tasted! My favorite meal is the Dynamite Salmon which has pieces of crab and spinach on top and is served with two sides. If I'm dining alone, I bring this meal home to my husband and he devours it every time. The corn and crab soup is also delectable and worth a try. We were disappointed with the temperature of food. Taste was ok. It took forever to get our check. This place has lost its Las Vegas vibe. The menu prices do not match up to the food quality. Must have been off night. Private group was more important than regular customers, so service inattentive because bartender waited on tables , so service slow , food lukewarm after long wait and difficult to get his attention. Sent mine back, already there for 1:15 before food arrived. Manager paid for my wife's food , I sent mine back! I got the feeling they couldn't care less about one disgruntled customer. This was my first time at this location. We were greeted by a very fun and friendly wait staff. They guided us through the specials and how to pull up the menu electronically. The waitress came back and gave us all of her favorites along with reasons why. The bread and oil for starters was great! I proceeded to order the bang bang shrimp, the ahi tuna steak and the black berry ice tea to drink, all of which were the waitress recommendations. She wasn't wrong with any of it! The tea was a great twist I'd never tasted before. The bang bang shrimp was lightly tossed in the sauce that had just enough spice. The ahi steak was ordered medium (sashimi style). As sides I got the bacon mac n cheese and broccoli (seasonal vegetable). The Mac wasn't the greatest, but it was still good. The steak came with a mango salsa that complimented the tuna very well as well. Overall, the food and service were great. I can't wait to go back again to try more things on their menu. read more

We love coming here for the great food. But this time our dinner was marred by very poor service. Joyce was the worst server we've had anywhere in a long time. Had we not very much wanted Bonefish food, we would have walked out. It took her forever to even take our drink order. Three of us were well into our meals when she finally delivered my daughter's tacos-which were cold. She hardly spoke at all; wrong personality for the job. We always enjoy conversing back and forth with servers-makes it more fun for all. I'm sure we'll return but will not have her as a server. read more

I had an exceptional experience at Bonefish (Town Square Henderson) beginning with my server, Dalton! He greeted me and my guest with a very welcoming smile, made us feel welcomed and was always accommodating. The food was delicious. Dalton explained how wonderful the crab cakes were and without a doubt, he was correct. When I go back, I will ask for him. I highly recommend this restaurant and Dalton as your server. Spring is my favorite season! We stopped by Bonefish Grill for date night the other night and had such an amazing time trying their new Spring Seafood Specialty dishes like the Rockefeller Butterfish featuring Alaskan Black Cod topped with Creamy Spinach & Jumbo Lump Crab & the Salmon Caprese featuring Wood Grilled Salmon with Golden Gnocchi, Blistered Tomatoes, Mozzarella Fondue that's finished with fresh Basil & Pesto! We also had to grab the Imperial Dip which was highly recommended by our waiter and definitely not one to sleep on! And to wash the meal down with their Pineapple Martini was a must to pair with! read more
