Happy Hour is offered in the lounge from 4pm-6pm then again from 9pm-close. My bestie and I shared ordered the Crispy Au Gratin Bites (qty 6) for $7 (hh). The bites were cold on the inside and extremely bland. When I notified our server Brandy of this she graciously returned our order to the kitchen. We declined another order of these bites. My bestie and I ended up sharing the Bang Bang Shrimp for $9.40 (hh). As always, this sweet and savory appetizer never fails to satisfy. Birthday Dinner! Took my Mrs here for dinner as she is a seafood lover and we have been here a handful of times in the past. It was a warm Spring day and the outdoor seating was open and comfortable. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. They have a customer loyalty program that sends you email alerts about specials they have periodically, as well as an incentive for a discounted meal after 4 visits. Their most popular appetizer is bang bang shrimp which is cooked shrimp tossed in mayo and hot sauce. We opted for a special we were altered about via email for a three course lobster dinner. The deal said Lobster tail, two sides, salad and a dessert, although our location didn't have the same dessert pictured (cheesecake) and was 3$ more expensive than the advertisement. The server brought us an appetizer ( which more than made up for it! The only other hiccup was the difference in sizes for our lobster tails pictured . My husband and our baby came in around 8:40 on a Wednesday night. The kitchen closed at 8:45 so we were cutting it close. We had THE BEST experience ever. Our waitress Rachael was amazing and the food was amazing. It was pretty quiet as it was almost closing time and it was so nice. Only wish we lived closer. read more

Our server was great but the food was not and the person who brought out our food had forgotten a couple of things. The bad: *The calamari came out without the sauce. *Our meal came out without the soup. (the server made it right) *The corn chowder soup was not good, it had a weird cumin taste to it, and each bite had hard corn kernels you had to spit out. Not appetizing at all. *The garlic mashed potatoes also had a weird taste to them and were discolored with a burnt patch, as if it was the last scoop from the big pot. *The mahi mahi was way over done, had the texture of rubber. *The creamed spinach had a very bitter aftertaste. *The jasmine rice tasted off and the texture was as if it came from a microwave bag. It made me want to vomit. (I will get to that in a minute). First the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was amazing. The shrimp where large, the breading was nice and crunchy, but not overwhelming, and the sauce was amazing. Next I ordered a burger, which looked really good until I bit into it. The first bite I realized that it was slightly undercooked, then on the second or third bit I realized that the hamburger meat was actually still cold in the middle. Eating the hamburger equivalent of sushi is not my idea of good, and I actually had to take to drink of water to keep from vomiting after realizing how raw the hamburger was. It took a while to catch one of the wait staff, they offered to throw my burger back on the grill, or to bring me a new one, but I was still on the edge of vomiting from the raw hamburger that I didn't want anything else. The service was really slow, and the staff were not very friendly (even before the raw burger incident). There are so many good restaurants, don't waste your time and money at this one. If for some reason you find yourself already at the Bonefish Grill and you are reading this, then order the Bang Bang Shrimp. read more

Came in for dinner at 6pm. There were only 2 other tables being served. Staff had masks but server had his below the nose. Gloves were changed often by staff. Sadly the girl that started with us was let go b/c so slow. Young man gave good service as well. Paper menu. But real plates at least ;-) The bread/oil dipping is always so yummy. Bang Bang shrimp was great. Pork chops with fontina, prosciutto, mushrooms, and marsala sauce was AMAZING. Absolutely wonderful flavor, cooked just right, not fatty. Would get this meal again. Garlic potatoes are always creamy and not too much garlic. The premium bacon mac and cheese is CHEESY. Super rich. We also had the crab crusted Cod. It's topped with lump meat crab. First, the cod was wonderful but the pile of crab on top was pitiful. Sauce adds a nice flavor. They split this meal for us with no extra charge. We enjoyed our time here but was sad to see if so empty. When we left there were still only 2 other tables being served. Business needs us folks, go eat! I've been here a few times before and always love the food. Tonight started with crab cakes which were light, flaky and delicious. Next a Ceasar salad and then main courses: wood fire grilled salmon with garlic whipped potatoes and broccoli and wood fire grilled scallops and shrimp also with garlic whipped potatoes and broccoli. Finished off with raspberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend eating here. The only negative tonight was the waiter was slow and inattentive. So, we've been waiting to try this place for awhile now. Well unfortunately, the first impression was horrible. We ordered the Bang bang shrimp appetizers since we heard great things about them. Well, that's where the first impression was made. My wife and I knew that the server forgot our appetizers, since our entree's made it to the table. We asked about the appetizer, and the server gave us an excuse that they must of been erased from her ordering screen. She was apologetic, and offered us them right away. We said no thanks since our entree's were sitting in front of us. Now for our entree's. My wife loved her fish n chips. However, I didn't get a fair portion for my bang bang shrimp tacos. 2 shrimp in 2 tacos and 3 in the last one. Literally no exaggeration. When talking with the manager, he apologized and was sincere. WORST SERVICE EVER. Literally ignored for 20 minutes, no hi/hello/return after dumping off the menu. The gal was more interested in triple checking on the family behind me, assuming her tip would be great. They probably weren't great tippers anyway and she lost a sale. I ate the free bread, drank my water, and booted out after being literally ignored by all of the staff and walked past 10 times without any eye contact. Screw this place. We came in for a late lunch about a quarter to 2:00. The service was friendly and fairly quick. We ordered bang bang shrimp which is always a good idea. We also got the Caesar/chowder lunch special and a wedge salad. About 5 mins after we ordered we were offered bread and pesto to dip it in. The bread was super hard, guessing it had been sitting since the lunch rush. The chowder I heard was quite good and my wedge was okay, could have used more toppings, was mostly lettuce. Extremely Disappointed with the service .. The manager came out to explain how much asparagus cost and that's why I need to pay for it .. Wow !! $32.00 18 oz steak that is 1/3 fat that comes with Broccoli and I wanted to substitute the broccoli for asparagus but know need to pay $5.50 more for it .. We spent $95 and left and went to K'S Terriaki's to eat because we were still hungry ... The $17.95 Cobb salad came out in two dinner side small salad bowls .. I ordered the "blacked" fish tacos. But I got a pieces of what seemed like boiled cod dusted with a little old bay seasoning. My wife got the corn and crab chowder which she took maybe 5 bites of. Super sweet and lacking seafood badly. We did come in at 9pm.. they close at 10pm. But they open at 4 pm. So I'm not going to assume the kitchen was all cleaned up; and the cooks were just hoping someone don't come in and order that close to closing. they just threw some crap together. Had dinner there with my roommate tonight. It was her treat but I guess I'm still justified in leaving a review. 2.5 stars on my review. The food was as good as what I expected and it should be because entrées are fairly spendy here. The presentation on your plate is kind of strange here, as they must have an ice cream scoop or something that they form the rice or au gratin potatoes or whatever you order into. I think it would be much more visually appealing just to have The sides placed on the plate in a normal fashion versus preformed into some small Play-Doh Jell-O looking shape. And for goodness sake's how about a normal adult size portion. Rice and potatoes is about the two cheapest things that your restaurant probably serves. Incidentally each of those little ice cream scoop piles is one full serving according to this cheap restaurant. So if your side dish is au gratin potatoes, expect to get 4 maybe five bites and that's it. Pretty cheap and chintzy if you ask me. Considering entrées are $20-$40+ each here. They really need to work on their service and friendliness aspect here is my observation. I can only speak from our encounter with the host who was not very welcoming. Then us being seated in the bar area where we chose and being completely ignored for over five minutes. seemed to be pretty subpar service for a restaurant that's attempting to be on the slightly upscale side for the area. And we were there quite early well before the dinner time rush. There were very few people seated in the bar area. And at least two or three different waiters waitresses employees walked right by our table with zero greeting at all in the first 5 to 7 minutes we were there. And it should've been very obvious to anyone that we didn't have a glass of water or a bread plate or a cocktail or anything in front of us. We got there and just a minute or two after 6 o'clock and happy hour was already over? They don't open till 4. That's a pretty lame happy hour if you ask me. Unlikely I would ever go back as the only reason that we went was to use a free entrée - buy one get one free offer that we received in the mail. There are so many better dine out options at significantly less price in the area. This place will see a definite fall off in business once word gets out how overpriced it is with marginally acceptable service levels. I just didn't really like the vibe of the place. It seemed really stuffy in there had that real clinical feel to it not a really relaxing place to enjoy yourself with drinks and eats for dinner with a friend or a group of friends. And the waitstaff just really were not friendly or welcoming in anyway shape or form. If this place wants to survive in the Arlington area at the price point They're charging for dinners and drinks, they better step up their game or they're not going to be open very long read more

Dined at the Bonefish in Marysville this evening, their special that I ordered was. (Steak & Shrimp Wood-grilled 7 oz center-cut sirloin paired with five jumbo shrimp.) directly from their website and onsite menu. When I received my meal I was shocked and almost laughed at what they were selling as Jumbo shrimp, it was embarrassing to say the least. Also I only received 4 tiny shrimp not 5 but couldn't remember for sure what the menu said until I got home and looked it up. Last night was our second experience at Bonefish Grill at Smokey Point. After hearing people say it was so-so for last couple years, we decided to check it out ourselves. Both experiences were really great. We love the ambience, wide open space, cozy lighting and a large bar with lots of table and bar seating. The greeters/seaters were very friendly and the service was professional and quite excellent. We took my 86 year-old dad to Bonefish a couple of years ago and he always remembered how much he loved the muscles he had for dinner. We went back a couple of weeks ago and my dad was telling the manager how much he enjoyed the muscles (he tells everyone who will listen how good the food is at Bonefish). The manager sent a complimentary appetizer of muscles to our table for my dad. The food is excellent at Bonefish and cooked to perfection. My Husband myself and my parents who are visiting from Oregon came in tonight for dinner at 5:30 for our very first time here. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess who asked if we would like to sit in the lounge instead being that it was still Happy Hour. That was nice. We were greeted by a wonderfully sweet server/bartender who was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and beverages. Not only was the menu appealing the drinks and wine list were amazing too. Fantastic service! First time at this chain of restaurants. We tried the famous Bang Bang Shrimp. It was a slightly sweet and spicy appetizer. It was delicious! I see why they are known for it. I had the Chilean Sea Bass - soft and flakey and perfectly grilled. My hubby had the grilled shrimp and scallops. The bread was fresh out of the oven with a perfect crust. Plain and simple, I ordered a bottle of wine, $47 no biggie but not cheap either, the waiter brought it out opened it, poured another person a full glass and then came to me and poured me a full glass...now I am not expecting the waiter to be a Wine Sommelier, but knowing the basic courtesy of pouring a bottle of wine...come on! My husband and I got a gift card from my daughter, to here, to celebrate Valentine's Day. We were excited to try it! First came the bread which had an aioli that was excellent(that's why I'm giving this a two star by the way, otherwise it's a one). Then we noticed the specials which had a filet mignon 5oz topped with shrimp and scallops and drizzled with a cream sauce. It came with only one side but we sucked it up and ordered it anyway. I ordered the lily's chicken with asparagus and a salad(as the waiter suggested, without mentioning up charges). Well he asked me if lemon vinaigrette dressing was ok on the salad, I asked if they had blue cheese and he said yes. Well the salad came and it had no dressing, only fresh blue crumbles. I stated to the lady who brought it that it was supposed to be blue cheese dressing. She brought it to me. Then our food came and the steak was very small, with one tiny frozen cocktail shrimp in sight and one scallop. We asked where's the seafood and he said it's a shrimp and scallop sauce. Not actual shrimps and scallops. Anyway, the bill came and it blew me away he charged me 1.90 for the crumbles of blue cheese on my salad that was supposed to be dressing! And he charged me $4.90 upgrade on asparagus as side, and 2 something for salad. Or vice versa. I didn't say anything, but we won't be back. I don't know if we ordered the wrong stuff, but that wasn't the only problem. When we walked in there was a huge food mess on the floor under one of the tables that remained there even after we were done eating and left. In an hour no one cleaned it, we had to smell it and look at it our whole dinner. I don't suggest bonefish, or this one at least. Glad it was a gift card. read more
