What a great lunch spot! Prior to doing some wedding decoration shopping, me, my mom, and sister stopped by Bonefish Grill for lunch. I have only been here once before, and I remember only being satisfied - nothing was wrong, but nothing stood out. This time, the food definitely stood out! You have to get the Bang Bang shrimp, it's a staple! The shrimp is fried in a perfect batter that makes the end product crisp, crunchy, and oh-so flavorful. The sauce is fantastic too. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl and was so happy with it. The edges of the sushi grade tuna are dipped in sesame seeds and covered in a sweet chili sauce. I wasn't thrilled with the fruit salsa, but that didn't take away from the dish. Despite being a chain, Bonefish Grill is a solid pick for a night out. read more

I've been to Bonefish in South jersey before , but we were visiting Canton cause our son was playing at the Hall of Fame stadium , and this was one of the best experiences we've had at Bonefish. The entire staff was amazing . I literally just left , and felt the need to write a review cause it was that good . Our waitress, I believe her name was Sandy , I hope I got that right .... She was amazing. But she was helping a large dinner party so her coworkers all came to help her out and serve us. The bartender was even amazing , coming over to ask about our drinks . If we come back to Canton we will definitely visit this Bonefish location for sure read more

Overpriced for quality of food. The food was nothing special the ambiance not great. There are many better restaurants near by. My wife and I went there to give it a try. It was disappointing. The wait staff was fine . It really has the chain restaurant vibe !Bang Bang Shrimp was like most other versions nothing made it stand out Grilled Mahi Mahi was good but not enough to make us wanting to come back. Let me just say 2 stars is not for the food, it's for the terrible service. Made a reservation for 7pm and when I arrived they said they couldn't find a reservation under my name. I could've gotten over the mistake of them forgetting to put me and my boyfriend down on this list BUT the manager told me verbatim "you guys are our priority, we're seating you next" She then proceeded to seat 5 other tables before us. There was clearly a lack of urgency and she ignored us after the initial conversation. We finally were able to sit after 20 additional minutes of waiting when some poor hostess asked if we were waiting for a table. I'm very disappointed because I feel like if there was better service the experience would've been so much better. Would not recommend. read more

I ordered grilled mahi-mahi with sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli. The fish was overcooked and the sides were bland and unseasoned. The cooks need to use their thermometers and learn not to grill fish beyond 135 F. Fish should never be cooked to the point of being dry and chewy. read more

We had the Swordfish Bellaire and it was amazing!!! Potatoes au gratin & green beans as sides were delicious. The ciabatta bread & dipping oil was very good as well. Only three negatives: 1) They were out of asparagus (even though there is a Giant Eagle 1,000 ft away??? Poor management), 2) the waitress failed to inform us of the Thursday night special of a 3 course meal for under $20, and 3) we were not informed of the diners club to receive perks. Classy and inviting upon walking in. Beautiful hardwood floors, candlelit tables, low lighting all set for an intimate atmosphere. 2 of us dined: myself and my girlfriend. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp, Modern Mojito and Wild Orchid Hawaiian Martini. Everything was superb and presentation was amazing. Our server was Randall. He was exceptionally knowledgable about everything on the menu to amazing detail. Intricate knowledge about everything and how it was prepared. (My girlfriend is very health conscious and doesn't eat fried food.) He recommended the Norwegian Salmon and informed us due to the wild caught and cold waters, the salmon were fattier offering higher Omega-3's (to which he is correct) I ordered the soft shell blue crab. He also informed us it was never raised but rather caught during the short period of time they shed their shell. When the food arrived it was SPECTACULAR. Both in presentation and taste. Very full flavored and even better than expected. The grilled salmon was amazing and not too dry. Perfectly prepared. The crab was beyond fantastic, tender and succulent and seasoned to perfection. We both had the sautéed spinich and broccoli. Bot were excellent. Randall was very attentive and made sure our drinks never emptied and checked on us frequently. Boney fish? Nah, not at this place. They are nice and remove all the bones for you. I think in the past it was all the rage...hence the name. But, times are a changing and people don't want bones in their fish anymore. I was introduced to Bonefish at a Yelp Elite event. Don't know what an Elite event is? Google Yelp Elite and come join us! Nonetheless, the event was at the Crocker Park location in Westlake. I was totally wowed and vowed to come back. I have tried 2 other locations of Bonefish and this location is middle of the road for me. The food? It was fantastic! I enjoyed a 3 course meal for $18.99....it is a Tuesday special. I started off with a house salad. It was fresh with quality ingredients and a lively citrus dressing. My next course was grilled salmon with a basil tomato sauce. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful! My sides of broccoli and green beans were cooked perfectly, although they lacked flavor and proper seasoning. The drink? I thoroughly enjoyed my blueberry lemon drop martini and my house glass of cab. Both were on special and both were amazing! The staff? This was a very mixed emotion for me. While everyone we met was friendly, the service was helter-skelter​. The person who took our drink order didn't specify she wasn't our waitress. So, when someone else came back to take our order....we were surprised. Then, yet another person came to take our order. Wait, what? They were confused on who's table it was. They didn't iron this out beforehand and it came off rather unprofessional. The restrooms? Well, they needed a little love. The men's room had a strong foul smell and needed some cleaning. I have ate here twice with my boyfriend for "date nights" coincidentally both times we had Tyrone as our server, he is knowledgeable of the menu, very polite and witty and good at what he does, the experience isn't just about the food it's about the service, and kudos to you Tyrone! This past time we had the seafood dip as an appetizer and it was delicious! Creamy, full of shrimp, and delightful. My boyfriend had the sirloin and colossal shrimp special and I had the crab and lobster stuffed Mahi Mahi and it was soooooo good! We stopped at Bone fish grill today for lunch . Our waitress " Emma " came and asked us if we wanted something to drink and we had just got there so we asked her to give us a few minutes. She acted like she was bothered she had to come back. She finally came back and we requested water and ice tea and placed our order. We did not want anything heavy so we each ordered bang bang shrimp and a Cesar salad. She refilled my tea 1 time. Never Once came and asked us if we needed anything else or if everything was ok . This is not the first time this has happened to us when we just order salad and bang bang shrimp. We feel like we are treated Like we are not worth being waited on or treated with respect because we are not ordering a big meal $$. Its ridiculous that staff treat customers like that . I suggest some of your staff take some lessons on having a better personality & treating customers with respect. Acting snotty because our bill was not going to be 100.00 and only banking on larger bills & bigger tips. We usually tip very well and above but Not today !! Had a great experience at this location I alway thought as chains go this is much better than most. The service was great everything was timed perfect the entire night. We started with the bang bang shrimp that is always good more of their signature appetizer and calamari lightly breaded fried with peppers. I had the Chilean Sea Bass blackened with a light lemon citrus sauce (highly recommend this) with a side of asparagus grilled with a light coating of oil and au gratin potatoes paired with a nice Pinot Noir. It was my wife's birthday and we did have a reservation at 6:30 and when we arrived, they were very up front that they had received quite a few walk ins and a very large party and the kitchen and servers were pretty backed up. 1 I really appreciate this candor and 2 nothing could have been further from the truth. So I'll be the first to admit I am SUPER picky about seafood. I generally like shrimp and crab, but I struggle to like other fishy things unless I know there's a good sauce. But I've heard so many people say that this is their favorite place to go and how good it is, so I needed to give it a shot. Naturally I ordered a shrimp dish. I dont know what they called it, but it was really good! It was made with gnocchi. Of course any place with fresh seafood like this is expensive, and it tends to get busy, but that's all the more bad I have to say about the place. Maybe one day I'll get brave and I'll try some more of their stuff! But I would definitely come back for that entree alone. read more

I've been to this Bonefish location a handful of times over the years, and it's always pretty good. Pretty good, but not GREAT. I'll start with negatives: the menu is pricey, the parking lot is awful (shared with another restaurant, always busy, people drive WAY too fast and are careless), and the area is always packed. The positive: it's conveniently located next to tons of shops, the food is generally delicious, and they have daily specials, especially on weekdays. On this particular visit, I was with four other adults. We got bread and oil (complimentary and AMAZING), a bang bang shrimp appetizer (if you've never tried this before, you NEED it in your life), and our entrees. One of us got a burger. The other four got fish, either Cod Imperial or Crab Crusted Cod. The fish was great - no complaints. And the garlic whipped potatoes were awesome! The person in our party who got the burger ordered it medium, and it came rare. **He also found fragments of bone in the meat.** Both our server (Chris) and the manager handled the situation very well, taking it off of our bill and offering to replace his meal. Intimate, dress up casual. First thing I noticed was the rotating door. lol. I was a little caught off guard by that. Not sure why. Once I entered, I was pleasantly surprised by the interior design. Dark and moody. Warm but very cool. Nice and quite. It is very intimate but not overly so. Dress is casual nice shirt and pants, not casual crocs and gym shorts. Candles on every table are a nice touch in the dark room. There is also a bar with a couple of T.V.s but that does not take away from the mood at all in my opinion. There was no wait for a table on Friday night and our service was quick and extremely helpful. I rarely remember servers names (combination of bad memory and forgettable conversation) but Kayla was great. She was very helpful with the menu, got me a free upgrade on my meal by talking to the manager, and kept the drinks and food coming at a good pace. Not to mention very friendly. The food was the highlight of the night though. I enjoy seafood a lot but I am also really picky when it comes to the way it is cooked. The Bang Bang Shrimp was just as good as I had heard from people. It was spicy without burning, although a bit on the salty side. My entree was Grilled Salmon with the Lemon Butter sauce with a side of Crab Fried Rice. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and I mean perfect. It was juicy in the center and the lemon butter made it melt in my mouth. Fried rice was a TAD dry and also a bit salty, but still extremely delicious. For our drinks we had water, which came in a fancy serving bottle. It was funny but a very nice way to present it. I also had XXX Vitamin water. I love XXX and I was so excited to see it on the menu. I had three glasses and I thought I would be charged for each... but alas I was not. Free refills on Vitamin water? Yes please! Huge thumbs up. They also have a very extensive list of hard and soft drinks. I am torn between 4-5 stars. I took of 1 star just because the price was a little higher than expected but really I'd say 4.75 Overall I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed dining here and I am for sure making a revisit plan soon. My wife and I went there for our first time last night. Had a nice atmosphere, friendly server. Food tasted good. But that's kinda where it stopped. My wife had the filet and I had the Crab Crusted Alaskan Cod. On the way home I started having stomach pains. I didn't think anything of it, maybe just needing to use the restroom. About 2 hours from after I left is when the horror started. Everything pointed to food poisoning. It was coming from both ends violently for about 4 hours before I finally settled down and was able to fall asleep. I woke up feeling better but I can never go there again. I've been going to Bonefish Grill for over ten years. Although some locations have declined with atmosphere, food and drink quality, this one has not wavered. We visited to celebrate my daughter's birthday on October 21, 2017. We originally expected a larger party and they happily accommodated us. Lucky for me, the anticipated crowd did not show and it turned into a nice intimate dinner for six. Tony was our server and he was great! The food was wonderful. You have to try the honey crisp apple martini! This particular visit was worth five stars and I don't give those out regularly. read more

Cucumber margarita- although took some time to get from the bar was cool and refreshing and the salt and pepper rim added the the right amount of zing! Shrimp Caprese Dip was to die for- shrimp was plentiful and seasoned appropriately and who cannot love ooey gooey cheese! We almost bought another to take home with us. I had the scallops and shrimp with lemon butter sauce. The sauce was not overpowering which was a nice surprise. Loved being able to taste the grill flavors of the dish. Jasmine rice was slightly mushy. My boyfriend had the cod stuffed with shrimp and scallops. He said if he ever had to eat grilled or baked fish again this would be the dish he would go to. This restaurant recently opened in our neighborhood, so my wife and I decided to pay them a visit. We had a mixed experience. First the good: 1.) Food tasted very good 2.) Good selection of entree's. They serve more than fish! 3.) Prices were reasonably priced 4.) Very clean The bad: 1.) The restaurant was very dark. We actually had to pull out our cell phones to read the menu's and the check. Seemed like candle light and a handful of 10w light bulbs were the only lighting. 2.) Although the waiter was professional and polite, he made mistakes. Brought the wrong beverage, and then forgot one of my sides. Had to ask the manager to help. 3.) The portions are small across the board. Don't expect to get filled up here. 4.) Parking is a nightmare. They share the same small lot as Outback and it's a free for all. All in all, it was an OK experience, although I don't think we'll be rushing back soon. read more

The swordfish with the asian sauce was above average. The above were compliments... All the tables were offered bread...not ours. The birthday girl's dinner, chicken pesto fettucini with artichokes came sans noodles. Several minutes later the waiter returns with the noodles and says "combine these together." Awesome... $90 meal and I get to cook! Needless to say the noodles were an overcooked ball of gelatinous slime. We shared the Mussels Josephine, the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Ahi Tuna. I can take or leave mussels usually, but these mussels were far and away the best I've ever had. I would like to find the recipe so I can make them at home. The sauce is to die for. When the last of these little mollusks was eaten, our entire group eyed the bowl of sauce longingly. I would fly back to Ohio just for the Mussels Josephine. The Bang Bang Shrimp were also exceptionally good, just lightly breaded and sauced, with a little kick. The ahi tuna was great as well. For my main dish, I had one of the daily specials, an orange roughy dish with lump crab meat with au gratin potatoes and vegetables on the side. It also exceeded my expectations. I also had the Ocean Trust Mango Martini at the waiter's recommendation, and it was wonderful. Not too sweet, just perfect. I don't have any complaints. Our service was great, the food was excellent and I was surrounded by great company. If they ever open a Bonefish Grill out west, I will definitely be the first in line. read more

Because it is Wednesday and $5 Bang-Bang shrimp night, we decided to venture back into Bonefish since we'd not been there in a while. Service was just okay. Drinks took too long and refills were nearly non-existent. There was a huge grid on the ceiling blowing freezing cold air on us during our entire meal. The grid needed cleaned. (We sat in a booth in the bar.). Ewwwww. The $5 bang-bang shrimp is now $6. It is still a bargain. It was perfect. The shrimp tacos ARE NOW A CRUEL JOKE. It now consists of a tiny deep fried shell and has exactly TWO SHRIMP inside. Two. I now wish I'd taken a picture of them because words can't describe the weirdness that is now the shrimp tacos. The tacos were on the $5 Wednesday menu but our server - who did try to talk us out of ordering them - are the same ones at full price for $12 or $13. If I had paid full price I would have been pissed. The dirty martini on the menu was disgusting. The description states something like, "citron vodka infused with olives for three days"... Where if true it would have said instead, "we ruined perfectly good cheap vodka by making it taste like straight green olive brine". Ugh. Infused tells me the flavor is subtle and refreshing. This tasted like straight olive juice with salt added. Utterly disgusting. Overall.... I'm still not impressed. Service was slow and reactive, not proactive.
