My wife and I went on Valentine's Day. The specials for the day were exceptional, especially the surf and turf (filet and lobster). My wife wanted to get the Caribbean tilapia special which advertised a butter sauce. But it turned out to have cream in it. My wife is lactose intolerant, but is able to eat butter. She was really wanting to try the dish. She did end up getting the dish, but with a substitute sauce. I really wish that when advertised as a butter sauce, restaurants didn't add something else to it. But other than that, it was a great dining experience and we will be back and recommended the restaurant to everyone we know. read more

I had the cod stuffed with scallops. How can you say stuffed with scallops? Well, because the scallops were small but abundantly delicious. I have had some very pleasant meals at other Bonefish grill locations but this was not one. The bang bang shrimp did not even meet a reasonable standard. The breading fell off the shrimp before we even got it. My date had fish and chips which was so greasy that it was inedible. We absolutely love Bonefish, it's one of our favorite places to dine out. I have been to other Bonefish Grills and this one is by far the best for both service and food. We always have excellent service here. The Bang Bang Shrimp and mussels are two of our favorite appetizers to get. Diablo shrimp fettuccine is my favorite entree! The manager has come to our table several of the times we have been here to make sure everything was alright, and today two managers checked with us, and we even received a coupon for $10 off their Sunday brunch. Outstanding food and service!!! We were waited on by Ally. She had an answer to every one of our questions. She was great!! Can't rave enough about the food. My husband and I have an unusual diet. Often we have a hard time finding food that we can eat. This was not a problem at all here. I had the tuna. (Let me just say, I've traveled all over this world. Tuna is one of my favorite fish.) I've eaten at Bonefish for a long time but this was the worse experience I've had. The bang bang shrimp was excellent but that was it. I had a filet that was tuff and didn't have much flavor. I love Bonefish. But this was not so good. I haven't been to a Bonefish in Ohio in a while. Greeted immediately and sat fine. Waitress came over and was pleasant. G or our drinks and took appetizer order. Ordered unsweetened tea and she didn't even bring sweeteners had to ask twice. She forgot the first time. Next came the pots tickers and they were very mediocre. The main course came and my partners fish was great. Perfectly cooked and hot. My steak and lobster tail were both served barely warm. Actually the tail was undercooked and still cold. They took it back and it came back Lukewarm and still under cooked. I have dined at this location and the one in Independence and have always had a nice experience. That's why I chose this location for my birthday dinner with my family, looking forward to it all week. We were served water glasses that had a dirty smell and the soda glasses had crusty food on them, and my son's still had lipstick still on it. The server brought new drinks and told us she polished the glasses herself. The manager came out and blamed it on hard water. He didn't even apologize. The dishes didn't have hard water stains, they were filthy and I couldn't imagine staying there and eating off of dirty dishes. I find this unacceptable for a quality dining establishment. Needless to say, this put a damper on our celebrations and after several attempts to find another place to dine without reservations, we ended up at a local sports pub and had a much better experience. read more

My boyfriend and I come here often and always enjoy it! The service is great. The atmosphere is very calm and perfect for any kind of dinner. I don't have the energy for the effort it would take to review this place- let's just do the cliffs notes version, shall we? - Appetizers: Bang Bang shrimp, Beef & Ginger Dumplings really the only thing worth eating. Except...our waiter brought one of the appetizer out after my entree. - Skip the Caesar, it was inedible. Bonefish House salad wasn't bad. Could be more generous with the hearts of palm (there was literally 1 slice). - Waiter didn't bother explaining about salads coming with entrees...or that we had a choice of 2 sides with each entree. For that matter, he didn't even bother asking what sides we wanted....Guess he just picked them for us! haha. - Entrees came out while our appetizer and salads were still on the tiny table for two. - Did I mention that the waiter removed the salad plate without even asking? He literally reached for the salad plate and picked it up. Still had half my salad to finish! Oh well, guess he decided we had enough salad for the evening. - Special Of the Night, Lobster Thermidor Dorado (described as Mahi Mahi topped with lobster, lump crab and a velvety sauce) Yes, by all means please order this if you like COLD fish. Cold as in, brrrrr (this isn't a sushi joint)...they just topped it off with warm lobster sauce. No lobster, no lump crab in sight. Just warm lobster bisque sauce. - Waiter no where to be seen... we are just staring at our plates of cold fish. - Waiter still MIA. - Waiter now brings out our other appetizer (it was the dumplings btw). So now, we politely tell him that the fish is cold, the sides (he selected for us) are cold, and the only lukewarm thing on the plate is the sauce atop the fish. - Whats worse than cold fish you ask? Reheated Fish. - What on earth could be worse than reheated fish? A Waiter who goes out of his way to lie to his customers. For no good reason! dialogue, Waiter to Me: "We had this fish made from scratch. We didn't just heat it, the chef prepared it from scratch and made you a brand new one". 3 minutes later he returns.... dialogue, Waiter to my Dining Companion: "You didn't hear me earlier- you were on the phone... we got you a completely new piece of fish, from scratch- just for you. Brand new piece." Meanwhile, we slide the disgusting mush (apparently squash)... Guess what? Surprise, Surprise! It's the original piece of fish, knife mark and all. They(He?) turned the fish 90 degrees, covered it with mush and stuck the whole damn plate in the oven. The plate literally burned my finger when it was on the table. Oh, and by the way- it had zero flavour. None. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.... This waiter was so animated and over the top with the dramatics while lying to our face, (He was either coked out..... or I'm thinking maybe he was a theatre major?) Whatever. Had he just came out and said "We warmed the fish for you, let me know if this is better" that would have been fine. Why bother telling me a lie to my face TWICE and insulting my intelligence? Give me one good reason- Do you think people are stupid? No man, you are stupid. The manager wasn't even really apologetic- she wasn't budging. Just trying to make small-talk with us and avoiding the topic of the lying waiter- which I thought was ridiculous. Did the manager instruct the waiter to reheat the fish and lie about it? Is that their policy- Is that how Bonefish Grill does things? Look, reheat the damn fish- but don't lie. And if you're gonna lie at least be smart about it. Don't just pile a whole bunch of shit on the plate to cover up my old knife/bite marks. Only when I mentioned that I'd hate to give them a bad review on yelp did the manager offer to comp the entree. Diners, you've been forewarned...but like I said, maybe it was just the waiter. (By the way, the waiter never apologized. He just sheepishly hung his head between his tail. Hope he learned a lesson: don't ever think your customers are gullible. The last laugh was on HIM, not us.) read more

They have designed special sauces to accompany their dinners that are very good. You are catered to by everyone you come into contact with, and special requests are met. My favorite inland fish restaurants. 4/15/15 - We went for dinner here to celebrate my birthday since I was after a nice fish dinner. Following a good friends recommendation I ordered their Wood-Grilled Chilean Sea Bass. You can select a sauce to accompany it. Our server Ruth, suggested the fresh mango salsa and offered me a choice of another as well. The salsa is perfectly matched to the flavors of the sea bass, which was grilled to perfection. My wife ordered their Sirloin + Crab Cakes. The kitchen nailed the sear on the steak of medium well. We both enjoyed our meals very much and had a great time dining. Ruth, our server was very attentive to us in spite of it being quite busy at that time. For my birthday Ruth brought me a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a red raspberry reduction drizzled over it, compliments of the house. I have had a good experience here in the past but not so much this time. My father took the family out for dinner and it was very expensive. I ordered one of the specials which that night was a salmon with artichoke. The serving I was given was small and the food was luke warm at best. My spouse's food was also not hot. Their bread used to be a ciabatta and now its a cheap soft white bread. Overall I was not impressed and next time I am in town this would be one of my last choices to patronize. read more
