Came by on a early Saturday evening. Plenty of parking available around 4pm. Inside the host greatest is very well. We had a party of three. Happy hour menus were mostly ordered. Bang bang chicken, tuna nachos, shrimp toast. I had a couple of Bees knees cocktails also. Everything was great until the waitress forgot us for about an hour. Empty water and cocktail glasses and we had to repeatedly request her. Loss of a star for that.hoefully if we return they could earn it back.

My sisters and I came during happy hour and it was so delicious. The drinks were $5 and i absolutely loved my blueberry lemon drop martini. We had great service in the hightop area and the restaurant was quiet and comfy. We didn't feel rushed at all. I'll be back!

Had the pleasure of having a work happy hour here and it's hard not to enjoy yourself when your boss is pulling out his corporate card! hell, he ordered about 5/6 martinis alone. I only did two watermelon joints and they were delicious. Served with frozen watermelon cubes!! And regardless of what drink you order, ask to try the olives with the cheese inside, so delicious! Some of us ordered apps, shrimp, ahi tuna, crab cakes (nah, hell nah go next door to J. Alex), calamari while a few others came later and ordered entrees. We sat at a corner at the bar, 6 of us and it worked nicely. The bartender, wish i remembered her name, was friendly and on it. Younger lady, hispanic I think. The bar was lit, the restaurant wasn't too loud but definitely not quiet.

Food is normally good. This time around I asked for my steak to be medium but when it came out, it was cold and well done. I thought they were going to remake it but they never brought it out but it was removed off my bill. The bang bang shrimp is yummy. I love the blue berry lemon drop. I love the ambiance there, dimly lit and very clean. Parking is easy. Will be back to try the steak again.

We wanted seafood for dinner and this was our second choice. It was easy access to the turnpike and it was one of the best options around the area. When we walked in, the hostess was taking care of a customer that was putting a to go order but never acknowledged us. The manager finally did and he took us to a booth by the bar. Our server Arionte made our dinner and experience much more enjoyable. He told us that it was happy hour and brought water and bread at the same time! He was nice, friendly, attentive, professional, checked on us and apologized for delays. He rocked all the tables he had and always had a positive attitude! Our food was good and tasted great. The only item that could had been better was the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. It seemed that it was not fresh and that it was leftover from the day before. We took advantage of their special dinner for 2 that they are currently offering. You get 2 salads, 2 entrees and dessert. We got Cesar Salads, Salmon with Lemon Butter Caper sauce with Creamed Spinach and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Mahi Mahi with Lemon Butter Caper Sauce with Broccoli and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The fish and lemon Caper butter sauce for both choices made them tasty and delicious. We were full for dessert, so we took the Lemon Cake to go. We had it the next day and it was divine! The lemon is not overpowering and the frosting gave it enough sweetness. The restaurant is in a good area and it is a good choice.

The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, the service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. Everything felt polished from start to finish, and there was no pressure with upselling or tipping--just genuine, professional hospitality. We started with the seafood sampler, and every item was exceptionally fresh. The oysters, shrimp, and shellfish were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked. For my entrée, I had the Lobster Shellfish Pan Roast. The lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams, and mussels were all fresh and perfectly cooked. My only minor critique is that the brandy cream sauce leaned a little sweeter than I would have preferred, but it certainly didn't take away from the quality of the dish. The espresso martini was also excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and made exactly the way it should be. Spoto's is definitely on the expensive side, but that's to be expected for high-quality seafood, an upscale atmosphere, and excellent service. If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant for a date night, celebration, or special occasion, Spoto's is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

I will say I was underwhelmed by the whole experience and happy I wasn't paying for the lunch because it was not up to the quality of how expensive it was. The waitress was extremely slow on providing refills and when I asked for suggestions she only talked about the oysters and nothing outside of the starters lineup on the menu. The restaurant was pretty empty for lunch so I thought she would've been more on top of it. We ordered some oysters which were decent but I've had better on palm beach island. The crab cake was probably the only item I was thinking wow this is good. The salmon was lacking flavor and quality so I barely touched it. It was also extremely cold inside and the music was blasting. The waitress just seemed ready to keep up charging us by pushing us to order more such as coffee and dessert and not checking in on us through the meal. I would honestly skip out on this restaurant and go to La marina or another Palm beach restaurant and actually get your moneys worth.

Great background music and the service is top notch. The only slight disappointment was the inability to walk the docks and experience the Mega yachts. That is quite understandable as the owners of those category of yachts want their privacy and especially security. Now to the food! We had brunch. The eggs with Wagu steak. It was fabulous. I was so caught up in the total experience , i neglected to take pics of the food which is very unusual for me. I plan to return for dinner to experience the ambiance and vibe in the evening. 12:30om, 3/18/2026…read more Ambience = Steady, lunch crowd in the bar. Yet not phonetic or chaotic. Good, chill vibe. 4-5 high top tables for two. At the bar- nice personal space and hooks for purses. Nice place to perch my feet and store my obnoxiously long golf umbrella. Perfect atmosphere for a chilly, rain date lunch with spouse. Balance of business professionals, "ladies who lunch", and a few couples. The bar reminds me a of nicer Las Vegas resort hotel bar. One TV showing Golf TV. Food = We've eaten at J.Alex since their soft open moons ago. The dishes are always consistent quality. Today hub's was jonesing for a French dip. I was craving their Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. We both order their shoestring fries. We're slowly enjoyed each other's company and our lunches. We immensely enjoyed our meals. Service = Good. Our bartender didn't offer his name, and we weren't on our game to ask his name. However, he did a good job. He quickly came over and put down black napkin placemats with napkin rolled utensils and offered water while we skimmed the menu. Beverages were served quick. Food order quick and complete. We never had to ask for extra sides as he brought them all out with the meals- ketchups (If you like an abundant serving, ask when you place your order. They use small 2 oz stainless steel ramekins.), horseradish sauce, a side of blue cheese (to dip my fries in ), and my Nashville hot sauce on the side. Check came quick too. We ask and learned that they do not offer a Happy Hour. However, they offer very large pour martinis with a side car waiting for you for the price of one. He said late afternoons they have very happy and loyal regulars! We've been dining at "J.A." since their soft open many moons ago. They have always offered well trained staff. We've been here as parties of two, parties of up to 8, and as times with infants, to toddlers, to elementary school age peeps to seniors who many need a little extra consideration with seating. J.Alexander's has always offered great service. However, for some with low vision may find the back of the restaurant a little dark. Bathrooms are clean. There is an outside, screened over bar area as well. My extra bullet points: Value = Yes! High quality, consistent food, great staff and fair price for the experience. The BIG question: Will we return? Yes! We are every other month "regulars". During COVID, they were able to pivot their business to keeping their doors up keeping people employed and offered service to the community. HIGH GIVE! We'll be back. Cheers! Tip: Be sure to make reservations especially during holiday weekends, PGA golf classic weekends and "Season" for tables. If they're booked, Bonefill Grill is directly next door as "back up". Get there early for parking as the lot fills up fast for dinner with several restaurants sharing the same lot.
