The coffee was OK but we never got our food. We arrived for brunch at 11:45 on a Sunday and found a restaurant that was less than one third full. Coffee came out quickly but when we asked about our food half an hour later (just an omelet and eggs Benedict) we were told that we were backed up behind several large tables. (We saw only one but hey, the place was empty.). Five, ten, fifteen minutes later- still no food. A manager came over - same story - large tables. Finally , after concluding that if the food ever came we wouldn't enjoy it, we paid for the coffee and left. I doubt that we will be back. read more

Place was virtually empty yet offered a horrible seat. After being told the seating it was unacceptable and despite larger booths being available for party of two was crammed into a booth fit for an individual eating alone. Note to staff, when you serve Prince Edward Island muscles at least include a bowl or plate capable of housing the shells. Also when bread is down to one piece don't ask if you can take the bread plate, ask if you would like more bread. At least the vodka was served with an ice cube. read more

Just awful - arrived 15 minutes early for our 7:30 (special occasion) reservation on Thursday, Feb. 9th and waited until 8:00 to be seated. Dining room dark, dingy and overly filled with tables close together. Partner ordered Norwegian Salmon which was the special of the evening and I ordered Filet Mignon. Discussed with waitress at length that I wanted a hint of pink (always order that way as every chef cooks and calls it something different). The salmon was no bigger than my palm, burnt on top, cold, with just a hint of the usual orange color of salmon. Filet Mignon arrived red and bleeding, aka raw. Returned to cook as specified - returned lukewarm - still red and bleeding. Waitress/manager nowhere in site. Partner ate as he was still hungry after the measly salmon he ordered. In my opinion, absolutely the worse meal I have ever been served. Ordered a "daily special", grouper. Could not cut it with a knife. Called the waitress over, told her the problem and with an attitude removed both mine and my son-n-laws plates and hurried off to the kitchen. We waited another 40 minutes and I called the hostess over and asked her to get our waitress since we had not seen her in all this time. She went to the kitchen and a "floor manager" approached our table 5 minutes later. He apologized for the problem and said "We are having problems with getting the grouper to temperature", what does that mean????? The most lame excuse I have ever heard. By the way not bread or anything was offered to us while this was happeneing. I refused any other food being cooked since it was approaching an hour since my wife and daughter had gotten their food. We were having a birthday cake at home after since this was my wifes birthday. He gaves us two gift cards and went back to the kitchen. We were preparing to leave when the "Manager" finally approached the table looking very frustrated, gave us her card and said something, apoligizing I think and walked off. I give all resturants a second chance and this was Bonefish's. I will never go there again nor will I recomend Bonefish to anyone I meet or any of my clients. Huge let down!! I've eaten at other Bonefish Grill locations and always had a delicious meal and good/great service but not at this place. The food was sloppy and barely warm. The vegetables that came with my meal tasted frozen and they were soggy. The truffle mac and cheese was horrible! There was not one bit of truffle in the dish and it was greasy and over cooked. The service was okay. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because our cocktails were perfect. read more

My husbands parents took me there, a couple of days after My birthday...so got the lobster tails, that I had JUST gotten at The Ocean Grill ON my birthday! Went to Bonefish Brunch last Sunday. Everything was excellent from food to drinks and exceptional service. Surf and Turf Eggs Benedict for my husband. No complaints and he is Picky !!! I had the Creole Shrimp Omelet with Goat Cheese. YUM!!! Spicy and Delicious. Au Gratin potatoes and toast were also very good. Blood Orange Paloma was a bit on the strong side. This is my third visit to Bonefish. I have tried different times and days with the same result poor service and managements response come back and try us again. After waiting to be noticed at a table in the bar we had to flag down a server who said I'll be back 30 minutes later we had a server upsell a ultimate martini. This came with blue cheese olives and pickle soaked 3 days So 20 minutes later when the arrived with regular olive we were told oh we ran out of.those. I understand busy I don't understand lack of customer service. I will not return . The manager spoke to us and said sorry we are slammed and I'm usually behind the bar. Was always our favorite and NEVER had a bad meal but my last visit was very disappointing. Ahi tuna was mealy, the shrimp stuffed with lobster was pasty, the salad wasn't cold or crisp and the dressing seemed absent. But the final straw was the strawberry shortcake. It was their advertised special. You know how they make sound so delicious.......The shortcake was literally bisquick. Hard and dry. When I told the waiter this his response was an ashamed "I know". Hope they get it straightened out. We asked for a comment card to give them a heads up but they said go on line....... so here is their dirty underwear for the world to see. Normally at a Bonefish Grill I enjoy their Bang-Bang Shrimp but on this occasion I opted for a soup and crab cakes. Went here last night for Valentine's dinner with another couple. We had reservations 3 weeks ago so no problem being seated right away. Waitress took our drink order and wanted us to order food right away. We told her we preferred to wait for drinks and enjoy them first. She brought our drinks as we were looking over appetizers on menu.... and we placed any order for 2.. and again she's asked if we decided on a meal.. again we told her we were in no rush to do that at this time. She became huffy and walked away... later bringing us appetizers. All went down hill after that. She never came back to fill water glasses, or even if we wanted another round of drinks. She did come back to take dinner order, again never filling our water glasses or drink order. My husband had to ask her to bring him another glass of what he was drinking. Dinner came, put on table by kitchen staff, and left. No waitress to see if everything was ok, or need anything. After dinner she asked if we wanted our bill and we told her we would like coffee and began looking over dessert. All in all, won't go back there for a holiday meal, too busy for customer service, they want to get you in and out quickly. Food was excellent... Came here while visiting parents in Vero Beach. We really enjoyed the food here; everything was prepared and presented very well. My husband and niece both had the steak, which was cooked perfectly. I went for the grilled scallops and shrimp with couscous on the side, and I enjoyed it very much. My parents split shrimp pad thai, which was surprising delicious. The service was excellent! The more it sat on the plate the tougher it became. Don't bother with this seasonal special. I had TURBO OSCAR-very nice light fish, which I recommend. Both entrees are over priced, $21.20 & $25.70. I brought my mother and daughters here for my mother's 70th birthday. We had a party of 8 and sat outside on the patio. The food was great but the service was terrible. They didn't bring all of our drinks at the same time and we had to ask several times for them to bring the rest of the table their drinks. We waited for more than 40 minutes for our food. When we asked to speak to the manager she acted like she could care less and gave only part of the table a discount on food. I was pretty disappointed in the entire experience and I have been to Bonefish Grill many other times at other locations.... I won't be back to the Vero Beach location! read more

Bonefish had been my favorite since they opened. Very consistent and always a pleasure to dine. My favorite is Chicken Lily and my husband has tried almost every fish and loves them all! The pumpkin ravioli they have in the fall is awesome as is their spaghetti squash! House salad with citrus vinaigrette is really good too. Dine there more than we should probably, lol. First time at this restaurant/chain/location. I found the service very good. The food was pretty average, in my opinion, overpriced for what you get and below the quality of a Friday's, Mulligan's or Applebees. The facility and location are very nice. My only complaint is that if I order a $12 glass of red Italian wine, I don't expect it to be served to me cold, out of a refrigerator. The atmosphere is OK, noisy, loud music, you have to like that, and evidently plenty of people do. This restaurant did nothing for me, maybe sitting on the terrace, weather permitting, would be better. If I had a choice, I would not come back...but that is just me. read more

Have dined at this restaurant since it opened in Vero Beach. Recently we went with friends to "Hooked on Tuesday". After a so-so dinner, we were informed by the snippy manager that our Dine Rewards were not applicable to the Tuesday menu. This was news to us as we, and other friends had used the discount several times. She went on to say that this policy is on the website -- it's not -- and is written on the card -- not there either. She was the personification of the saying that "the customer is always WRONG". We will give this place a pass until there is a new manager. read more

Until..tonight ..I walked in Cinco Di Mayo..5pm and had the unhappy displeasure of NOEL..I asked if there were any specials for this 'holiday' tonight and was told 'we don't celebrate that '..ok....my friend ordered a margarita [Patron} and we watched as she made it in a collins glass... ice..well tequila, lime mix , squeeze of lime ..what ..no shaking it even ? The we questioned the Patron and she did concede it was not Patron..why ? It is not even busy tonight ..then..she walked away for several minutes .I guess I was being punished because now I am sitting at the bar for 15 minutes and I have no drink..This was just the beginning of our time there It really is difficult to describe the behaviors of the truly passively aggressive ..but I will tell you that this is the first and the last time that Noel will have the opportunity to wait on us, if I do see her tending bar ..I will take a table outside ...really..BFG..send in an undercover customer/agent ..please ! read more

One of my favorite seafood restaurants! I went there with my family the other night and were taken care of by a lovely server named Dominique I believe. She was very sweet and attentive - and patient dealing with my sometimes difficult as customers grandparents. Our meal was fabulous, as it's always been in the past and I have ate at several of the Florida and Colorado locations. They always have such great deals/ specials -we were able to have appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert for under 30$ a person. Can't beat that! read more

We arrived at a busy time, walked in to where the hostess stand is, to have a woman yell at us from behind asking if we had reservations. She was wearing all black and I did not see any name tag. She apparently worked there and was the person putting people on the waiting list. We weren't told where we could wait, we werent offered to wait in the lounge area that appeared to have drink service and we were not told we could wait outside. We waited at the bar, got our own drinks and went to the back patio. The servers on the back patio looked at us funny but we did not know that they had their own servers. The bonefish martini was very good and the bartender was quick and nice. We were finally seated at our table, we walked past many empty tables but we were shown to the very back corner facing a wall near where the servers put in their orders. It was an irritating place to have our table, it seemed that every server in the entire place walked past us or hung out there. They have a LOT of servers. We ordered appetizers, the server went off to put those in and came back maybe 5 minutes later to take our dinner order. We both ordered steaks, my husband getting the special and I got a filet. After 5 minutes my salad came out, I took two bites and pushed it to the side. I have never had spicy caeser salad before but I know to never order that from this place again! A few minutes later our appetizers finally came. We ordered the ceviche and the calamari. Both appetizers were great, we really enjoyed the calamari sauce. We should've stopped there. Before we were even half done with our appetizers, our dinners came out. My steak was ordered as "medium", it was very rare and cold to the touch. The steak and the potatoes au gratin that I got had no flavor at all and I had to put a lot of salt on both which I never use. My husbands steak appeared to be cooked correctly but his lobster did not look or taste cooked at all. There was an overwhelming flavor of cumin on the lobster which really ruined the flavor. We finished dinner, turned down dessert but my husband did order espresso. Wow that is the worst, absolutely the worst excuse for espresso or coffee I have ever seen! There was a TABLESPOON of espresso in the bottom of the demitasse. I am not exaggerating. When I complained about the amount in the coffee splattered cup the server said "Yeah we've had a lot of people complain about it, thats just the way the coffee machine works, its a rip-off." I asked her for a double so my husband could at least have a coffee. She said "Oh well I can do that and not charge you for the second shot." I certainly hope not since it was still not a full "shot" worth of espresso! The tiny demitasse cup with a "double shot" was only 1/4 full!! Like the server said, its a rip-off. The atmosphere here is very loud, for a chain restaurant the servers did not seem trained very well. (Our server ignored us for a larger table that came in half an hour after we were sat, she also spent several minutes trying to cut the top off a screw cap bottle of wine.) I hope they get their act together quickly, we won't go back for more than appetizers and drinks though. Sad, we were so excited that a Bonefish was coming here, we love the one in Gainesville. read more

Bonefish Grill has always been great for us. Unfortunately, at this specific location, we had terrible service. Our server was very short and we felt like a burden to her lol. Manager was very friendly and accommodating though. We would love to give our server the benefit of the doubt that it was a busy night or something but it just didn't seem like it. On May 1st we had a three person meal at about 20 percent full. Two of us ordered the stuffed tilapia, which tasted like pine sol. The manager came over and instead of offering a remedy said "you're free to order off the menu" but "we pride ourselves on fresh fish daily", which made us feel like we had to justify what we knew was disgusting. Replacements were better than pine sol, but the service slowed and we noticed a trend of other surrounding customers having slow service and additional complaints. This experience has soured our previous good opinion of Bonefish Grill and we will opt for not returning and searching for other seafood restaurants. read more

Absoultely perfect!!! This location is different than your average Bonefish. We were offered a table but elected to sit at the bar because the atmosphere was vibrant..and the bartender was so nice and funny. My filet mignon was cooked perfect along w perfect juices flowing. The crab cake was tastey along w the mash potatoes and green beans. The house Cabernet was very good for being a house wine. I was so into my steak I forgot to ask what the wine was. My husband orders Tuna all the time at Bonefish and other restaurants but he said it was good but could have been better. We didn't even complain but the bartender could tell something was wrong and sent a manager over to check on him, he was very concerned and offered to get him something else. We declined because it wasn't necessary so the manager decided to comp our wine. That was a very nice gesture!!! They care at this location and go over the top to make your experience awesome! I wish I could rate it lower than 1 star! Worst restaurant ever. We took a reservation for one family and friends celebration but yet had to wait for 25 minutes in line with a buzzer because they never prepared a table. The hostess (dirty, vulgar and dressed like a member of the oldest profession) gave us a table in the (VIP) room, which was really a table in a corner behind the door in a empty back room where employees take their break. After another 20 minutes waiting to be waited on, we asked to be placed in the actual dining room not punished in the closet! (another 20 minutes past by). When we finally made it to the dining area and ordered food, the waitress served styrofoam cup to the late teenagers in our party (despite their requests, they never got to get another drop of beverage until the end! including water). The food was dry and nasty. The presentation was very sloppy (it definitely tasted like it looked: awful). My friend asked for a dish where she requested the removal of one of the sides due to allergy but instead they gave her double portion; she politely expressed the need to have the dish switched and the waitress brought a discusting bowl of raw green beans which she dropped on the table. .... long story short, out of 8 people, none enjoyed their meal AT ALL. We visit restaurants often for business and pleasure but that was the last time that any of us ( and anyone we love) will ever set foot in this one. Never Ever again. read more
