Went to BoneFish for 4 Course Bourbon Cocktail Pairing Dinner. food and Drinks were wonderful. The Bourbon Margarita served with the Seared Scallop Crostini and Gold Rush and orange Soy Glazed Salmon were my favorites. Ended the night with Chocolate Cherry Bourbon Cheesecake which was awesome. We went here for dinner and had the Trout ($24.90) and a special, Walleye ($30.50). Both were prepared grilled and done just right. The trout was fine but the walleye had several bones so you had to eat it very carefully. Each came with two sides and your choice of one of their four signature toppings. It was a Friday night and the place was crowded and noisy. We were seated at a table for two in the middle of the room and felt crowded too close to other tables. It was hard to pull your chair out without hitting the person behind you. Free parking in the lot of the strip mall where the restaurant is located. The food was good (except for those bones in the walleye) and the service was fine. It's a dependable place for meal, especially if you like seafood, but they have a few beef and chicken choices as well. I ordered the Rainbow Trout for delivery. The fish was cooked perfectly and the lemon caper sauce was amazing (I just wish they had put a little more sauce on it). Fourth of July, and it is time to eat out. Bonefish Grill has the best menu. The bear selection is okay, but I like my Stella. The Rainbow trout is top shelf. I had to have it. It is the best. The Potato's Al Gratin go with it well. It is not too busy, and there are many tables available. I ate at the bar. The service was quick. The bartenders were nice. The Bonefish app has been down for a few weeks, so I had to use Yelp to see the what the entrées look like (and find the rainbow trout). I will come again (and often). read more

We've been to Bonefish Grill for dinner and liked it so we thought we would try it for lunch. It turned out to be a good choice. It was pretty empty so I imagine most folks think of it as a restaurant for dinner, not lunch. They have a nice lunch selection at reasonable prices. We had the Off The Hook Fish sandwich that came with fries ($16.90) and one of their prix fixe lunch selection (shaved Brussel sprouts salad and Fish & Chips $14.90). Their prix fixe menu includes a free iced tea or soft drink. The fish sandwich had a generous portion of fish filet and the prix fixe had more than we could eat. Portions are generous but not enough for taking home for lunch the next day. Our only two negative comments were the place was so cold everyone in there kept their coats on and the salad had too much dressing so if I ordered it again I would ask for dressing on the side. Service was prompt and courteous. Parking is free in the shopping center lot. They have a full bar. read more

When we were seated there was only one set of silverware at the table. Not thinking about that but once we got the bread we also realized that we didn't have plates at the table and we didn't have a light in our candle. Petty yes but our waitress didn't even notice. She didn't tell us about the social hall hour and the drink and the discounted food. At the end she asked if we were in the rewards program but didn't tell us about it after we said no. But she was good on refills. The potstickers were very good. The flavor was spot on. My lobster ravioli was seasonal but it was bad. The sauce was flavorful and the lobster was limited but okay. The kung pao Brussels sprouts was my favorite part of the main meal. My wife had the salmon with the mango chutney. She said she needed the chutney to make the salmon more flavorful to reduce the over seasoned salmon. I tried it and it was overcooked and dried. We also got desert. I had the seasonal cheese cake. I'm not a cheesecake kind of guy but the apple made it. The wife had the flourless brownie and it wasn't good. Not a fan. We will go back and try something else. read more

I know it's a chain and I don't normally review them because they just don't count, but this place has gone so far down hill it's not funny. Went last night with my wife and in laws (Friday during lent), and thought it was odd that we were able to get seated for a party of 5 with very minimal wait. Usually a good sigh if a place has little wait at 7 on a Friday. Service was great, so zero complaints there. What the hell happened to the menu? The food is complete trash. Potatoes Au Gratin were home style potatoes with melted cheese. Wife and I got the seafood sampler Salmon, Mahi, Ahi Tuna, Grilled Shrimp. Salmon was good, the rest was horrible. Service has been declining for years. Last night was the final straw. Not busy at all. 3 servers watching TV in the bar area. One delivering food while chewing food or gum (completely a no no in the restaurant business). Sat there for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged at all. Actually made another reservation reservation while sitting at bonefish. Walked out of Bonefish after 20 minutes and only contact was with the hostess. Where was management? Heard manager holler to server that she was "cut". Business so slow that they were cutting servers at 6:30, yet we couldn't get any service at all. Went to Firebirds! The service and ambience were fine. But the food was not good. We ordered the bang bang shrimp and it was cold and not crispy. We returned it and they brought a new order that was crispy and warm. My family and I visited the Bonefish Grill in West Chester, Ohio on March 6, 2026, and unfortunately the experience raised serious food safety concerns. While dining, I was seated facing the kitchen/service area and was able to clearly observe staff activity. During our visit, I witnessed employees eating food while actively running plates out to guests. I also observed staff eating in the same area where plates were being prepared and served. This behavior is concerning from a food safety and sanitation perspective. Employees should not be eating while handling guest meals or in areas where food is being plated. I hope management at the West Chester location takes this feedback seriously and reviews proper hygiene and food handling protocols with their staff. Guests should be able to trust that food safety standards are being followed at all times. read more

I used to love this place, but after our last two experiences there, we won't be back. Tonight I ordered a seasonal special of wahoo and scallops. The fish was rubbery and fishy tasting. I sent that back and got a simply grilled grouper which was also inedible. Even the rice and green beans were too poorly seasoned to eat. Everything went back untouched. Bag bag shrimp is out of this world. My wife and I had their Rhea's Walleye special and it was not good. Very thin like paper and stuck to skin and could not pull off due to being so thin. Supposed to have crab meat on top and there was not much to see, but slivers and overrun with gobs of spinach so much that it took away from the whole taste. I'd recommend either the rainbow trout or sea bass which has been good in the past. Also got a strawberry cheesecake with strawberries. Not one strawberry very watery glaze it was just okay. Stumbled upon this place while out running errands with my husband and wanted a nice place to grab dinner. We loved our visit to Bonefish Grill and will definitely be coming back.
