The only downside is that the bakery is located inside the market therefore their space is very limited and it tends to get crowded. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We placed a pickup order through DoorDash, but when we arrived, they claimed it was a delivery and that the dasher had already picked it up. I showed them the order details clearly stating it was for pickup, but instead of resolving the issue, they marked it as "order complete" on their system after they realize it, and refused to acknowledge their mistake. They repeatedly shouted "out" at us, showed no accountability, and offered no refund or replacement. Extremely poor customer service. We will never return. read more

This is a hidden gem in Diamond Bar. It's literally hidden inside Hannam Chain market! The owners are an elderly couple who are the sweetest. They always include 2-3 breads whenever I get a cake. Their cakes are reasonably priced, beautifully decorated but not over the top. The whipped cream is delicious and all the cakes I've tried so far aren't too sweet. I think they make cakes in advance and freeze them. My SIL got a cake here and it was hard to cut because it was partially frozen. The cake tasted a bit icy. Luckily it hasn't happened to me again. Can I just tell you, what a wonderful experience it was to buy from this cake shop? I came here on a whim after yelp took me here to get chicken next door. I went to check out the bakery stall next door because I had some time to kill and omg, the cutest and most adorable cake was there. I quickly noticed the panda cake in the counter and was like omg sooooo cute! I instantly got it for my friend's birthday. An elderly ahjuhshi (mister) helped me when I purchased the cake. I spoke in Korean, so I don't know how well his English is, but he asked me if it was a birthday and I said it was my friend's. I paid for the cake with cash. Then he hands me 2 free pastry breads to share with my friend. I was astonished. He said to enjoy these pastries with my friend and omg... He was the sweetest old man ever. The pastry I tried had thick delicious custard inside with powder sugar on the outside which formed a crust and omg, it was soooo good! He hand picked the pastries out for me and he chose this and another twist donut since it was my first time there. I'm all about supporting small businesses although I'm pretty sure this is a franchise, but smaller than Paris Baguette. I always look forward to their products.They have an 8 for $10 deal for most buns and pastries. FAVORITES: Freshly baked buns filled with whipped cream ($5): I'm not sure what the exact name of this pastry is called, but I'm pretty sure it's called "Cream Buns." Whenever I'm craving something sweet for breakfast, I'll pick up a pack of these on Sunday mornings. They come in a pack of twelve. They tend to run out if you go later in the day. Strawberry and Cream Soboro ($1.50 or 8 for $10): Freshly cut sweet strawberries rest on a bed of fluffy whipped cream encased in a Korean soboro bread. It essentially is a Korean-style strawberry shortcake. If you get this, make sure to eat it on the same day! It doesn't taste as good if you leave it out overnight. TIP: I recommend coming early, but not too early. If you come later, they tend to run out a lot of their more popular buns. If you come a little too early, a lot of their breads aren't ready or haven't been wrapped. The optimal time is probably 10-11am. TAKEAWAY: The owners are very nice! Came here for the first time to order some pastries for my daughter's teachers. They had just opened so not many options were out. But I told them I was willing to wait. I tried to call back multiple times and was sent to voicemail and eventually blocked.
