Such an adorable NY deli with some great lunch options. We got a bunch of spicy & curry chicken sandwiches, with chicken nuggets and an avocado salad. They even have fresh OJ. The owner is really nice, the service was great and the seating outside is very serene.

Very cute pick up lunch spot. On a nice day you walk across the street and have lunch in the park. I've order the streak sandwich and the chicken sandwich. You get to choose your bread for each sandwich which is a plus. Both sandwiches were good and filling no complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience and I will be back.

My friends and I came in on a Saturday morning and there was a very short line (only a couple people ahead of us). There was a Halloween street fair going on this street, so there was live music and great people watching. The staff was very friendly and gave us great recommendations. I split the cubano (hot sandwich) and brie & turkey (cold sandwich) with my friend. We couldn't decide which was better - they were both delicious. It was also very reasonably priced for how big they are - $10-12 per sandwich. We'll definitely be back and would definitely recommend it to a friend! However, there is VERY limited seated inside so I recommend taking it to go.

COVID report: there are a few benches outside (unheated), otherwise it's takeout only at the moment. Grabbed a few sandwiches and snacks one weekend. Prosciutto and provolone panini was too salty for me, but I absolutely loved the French ham and havarti sandwich. Almond croissant was also amazing. Spinach timbale was great, too. I'd definitely come back for that sandwich!

Amazing place for a Saturday morning coffee or afternoon lunch. Incredibly welcoming owner and pleasant atmosphere!

Prices have gone up significantly since I started eating here, while serving size has come down. Service is friendly here but plan on waiting at least 10 minutes for your sandwich. My $12 chicken salad wrap today was mostly lettuce (blocks of it) and little to no chicken salad.

Spinach frittata (okay), swiss-mushroom-spinach timbale and avocado-tomato salad (incredible)

I love this charming West Village spot; it's been open forever, and just now am I finally scooping up its goodies. My favorites: - hazelnut coffee - mushroom, swiss, spinach timbale (wowsa good) - creamy avocado and tomato salad I've also heard their chicken fingers are incredible, so I'm going back for these. This spot is no-frills, adorable charm, and you can sit at a wooden table inside or a bench outside and watch the world go by (ah, sigh). 5 stars!!!!!

I am French, born and raised. I was craving a real French sandwich on French bread. Bonsignour hit the spot. I had a French ham (of couuuuurrrrssseeeee), with Havarti cheese, tomato, lettuce, mustard and herb mayo and it was divine!!! The baguette was a little over cooked for my taste, but it was still delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, sitting at one of the lovely wood benches facing the sun outdoor. My friend went even more French and had the ham and cornichon one. She also felt the bread was a tad bit too hard. I am so happy I finally got to try this place. Next time I crave a sandwich, a real one from home, this will be where I go!

    Roast Beef sandwich. Delicious!

Bonsignor is flat out awesome. There's a reason why there's a line every, single day: the food and staff are fantastic.

My absolutely most favorite sandwich shop in NY! I try to get lunch packed here in the morning before heading uptown - so yummy.

Finally decided to try this place after walking by it for years. I refused to try this in the past,…read morebecause I didn't like how many items they put on display. It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

The peppery, thick bacon and the quite sweet, icing-topped cruller are a beautiful study in contrasts. The egg was nicely runny. I will say that's it's definitely not a good on-the-go sandwich, as it falls apart easily. However, I don't think this is a great spot for coffee. I was a bit underwhelmed by my latte, which tasted more like thin drip coffee than a rich, strong espresso. I also think they could offer more sweetener options.

The quality of the shot was excellent, smooth, bright, and really clean. The bar setup itself is super unique and very minimalist. They are running a really interesting under the counter espresso machine where the main bulk of the equipment is hidden away, leaving just these sleek, minimal group heads rising up from the counter. It was my first time seeing a machine of that style in person, and it looks incredibly sharp. I would absolutely come back here next time I'm in the area.
