The ice cream also tasted old as if it was freezer burned. We sent everything back. I would like to add that our waitress was very kind and we had no complaints about her personally.

The food is exactly what you expect, and I regularly find myself craving a Garbage Breakfast. Unfortunately, our experience is consistently impacted by one particular server. This feels bigger than someone simply having an occasional difficult day, as I have heard similar feedback from others not in our circle and know that concerns have been raised previously. I have also witnessed diners leave her section or comment on inattentiveness and a noticeable lack of interest in serving customers. What makes this more disappointing is that the rest of the staff are wonderful. We have had so many positive experiences over the years and genuinely enjoy dining with the other servers. In fact, we often try to sit in other sections and avoid this server altogether, so we do not upset her. This restaurant has been part of our family routine for decades, and I would much rather continue recommending and supporting it than feel like we need to plan around avoiding one staff member.

Elle was really good about saying Hi to everyone that walked in the door. They did a great job of cleaning the tables so they would be available for the next guests coming in and of course the counter. Grits were cooked perfectly , Scrambled Eggs were good and a little fluffy , Waffle was on point as usual , Toast was a little over toasted but it was okay. I should've got Bacon instead of the Ham. I forgot it's the slice of thick ham like you make a sandwich with not the bone-in type slice of ham. The Ham tasted okay , but not what I wanted. From what I understand not all Waffle House locations do a Military Discount , but this one does which I appreciate as a Veteran. $13 for breakfast is a good deal. I would recommend this location , but I personally think I like the vibe a little better at the Westmark Drive location. Either way you can't go wrong at a Waffle House.
