Was going to give this place 3 stars because Ira definitely not what you expect of a place with 4.5 stars. Basically a strip ball quick eats place. However, I realized that, for its remote location, it is a solid choice--the staff is friendly, service is quick, they have a pretty big menu, and the bathrooms are clean. Would I come back? Probably not, since I don't live in the area and just needed a place to eat with a larger group after a volleyball tournament. But that doesn't mean it's a badly run business. This is our go to Thai spot. The pricing is reasonable and it usually only takes 20 minutes for them to prepare our order. Sometimes we order party trays to bring to potlucks and the pad seew is always a hit. If you order a party tray by phone, they make you pay up front. We usually get a variety of items for our regular to go orders - papaya salad, curry, pad thai, pad seew, pad woon sen, tom kha, and their eggplant and tofu. My favorites would have to be the pad woon sen (glass noodles), the eggplant, and the pad seew. Would highly recommend if you live nearby or are in the area. read more

To be quite honest, this is the best Thai food I've ever had. Their business appears to be primarily to go order driven. Which is to say that you may not see a lot of people sitting down in there. But if you do, the service is great despite how busy they are and everything is fresh and delicious. Don't pay too much attention to the strip mall they're in, it's just a hidden gem. read more

Kind of upset the reviews were so high because it was very deceiving. The food was okay. Yellow curry and basil rice were the best but not very authentic especially the pad Thai- the noodles were bright orange. Loved the Spicy Basil (with Beef)!! First off, tried the eggrolls, these were good (not great). A little mushy in the middle; I prefer crunchy veggies and rice noodles in my egg rolls, but that just me. I ordered the Tom Ka soup with chicken. It's pretty tasty, not spicy at all. Had lots of mushrooms, chicken, bamboo shoots and a couple whole chilis. For my main, I ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice (with beef). I love Spicy Basil in general, so to try this in a fried rice from was a pleasant experience. The beef was delicious! This was not as spicy as when I order just the Spicy Basil (non-fried rice), but still very good. Also had the Thai iced-tea, really good! The staff was super friendly and fast service! I got a Pad Kee Mao to go and the noddles were soggy (took it out 10 after picking it up) and so much oil it as seen on the bottom right of the plate. Only ate half of it and threw the rest away because of excess amounts of oil :( read more

12/7/24 I came here like I always do. I walked in and greeted the guy at the register which he is an older guy. Tell me why this guy seems like he hates his job and is always so rude to his customers he needs to learn how to be better at customer service and how to talk to people especially if he is the owner. Dinner curry portion was so small (looked like lunch size) and it tasted like it was made with dishwater. The rice looked and tasted like box rice & was clumped together (did not eat). It's okay. I was looking forward to this since I am still searching for a go-to Thai place. I started with the "basics", Pad Thai and the an assortment and fried foods (Boonsee Paradise). The noodles were not overly sweet which is nice, but bland. Without the sauces, fried items will taste like nothing. I did order a side of Cucumber Salad and that was tasty and refreshing. We have been getting our pad Thai from Boonsee since all the shutdowns in 2020. They are our go-to when it comes to Thai food in the area. I personally like either shrimp or tofu. They don't skimp on the shrimp, and they are nice and plump, bigger-sized shrimp. They put lots of sprouts and peanuts and I really like the tamarind in their sauce. Portion is great and whenever we order, they are very quick as well. Highly recommend them. read more

Decent Thai spot in the area - I went with some friends for lunch and got the Pad Kee Mao and Panang Curry with brown rice. Pad Kee Mao noodles had a good springy texture with a little bit of a spicy kick. Panang curry is decent, a bit watery and the brown rice had some weird old water smell so it wasn't as good as I would have hoped. I opted for the regular menu curry instead of the lunch special since even though lunch special is $1 cheaper and comes with egg roll, the curry itself is smaller portion so I would rather pay more for more curry. Overall, service is decent, with water refills in a timely manner, but the food is just okay. read more

I really would like to give this place a higher grade because the cashier was super nice. But the food... EVERYTHING we ordered was SUPER SALTY! The beef larb I ordered felt like they put 1 cup of salt in it! It was not edible! The soup and ribs tasted like nothing yet salty!!! We also ordered mango sticky rice to go. I usually go to one in Ontario but I was sick so didn't feel like Driving. Whenever I feel sick I got the Tom Kha soup. The soup looked delicious but was actually not spicy at all & the chicken was meh, the only other thing they put was mushrooms. Maybe I'm spoiled at my regular spot (& a couple other spots I've gotten this soup at) but it didn't have any other veggies & like one strand of cilantro. I couldn't taste the lemongrass at all & even asked if it came with it. Since my soup wasn't spicy & they hadn't checked on me since I sat down I went to the counter to ask for chilli powder. I was ignored, the restaurant was busy but not busy enough to justify them not checking on me while I was sitting down OR to ignore me once I got up. People at another table even told the server to help me first as I had been waiting a long time. I would not come here again, I felt like I wasted my money & would've driven an extra 10 min somewhere else with better food and service. The servers here are not the most attentive, though, despite not having too much business. It was remarkably difficult to flag down their attention. The food here was just okay as well. We ordered Pad See Ew and the Pineapple Fried Rice. The Fried Rice portion size was nice, but the Pad See Ew was on the smaller side. The Pad See Ew was balanced and had a nice sweetness and savory taste to it. Nothing special, just about what you'd expect of Pad See Ew. The Pineapple Fried Rice, though, was very plain and lacking in flavor unless you got a bite of pineapple in your rice. Had to top this with additional side seasonings and hot sauce in order to give it some taste. But really this just felt like plain rice with some fruit and nuts mixed in. Thankful for Thai! I had been craving Thai food, so I ordered delivery from Boonsee Thai Kitchen this past week during the COVID quarantine. My go-to favorite Thai dish is Pad See Ew, and Boonsee did not disappoint! Since there was a small cart delivery fee for any purchase under $15, I went all out and added two drinks! The first was their classic Thai tea, which was so tasty and the perfect addition to any Thai meal. The second beverage was the mango milk tea, creamy with chunks of mango. Personally I enjoyed the Thai tea more, and absolutely loved the Hello Kitty and Spongebob packaging. The Pad See Ew was classic with fat noodles, egg, broccoli, with sweet soy sauce. The food was delivered wrapped, and I felt much safer drinking the teas since they're served with the sealed lids. I definitely plan to return! read more

First time, and I enjoyed it a lot. We tried their spicy basil beef, spicy fried rice with beef, yellow curry with beef, all came with white rice, and the crab Rangoon appetizer. The service was great. The white rice was overcooked, though. Their portions are a little too small by comparison to what you might get for the same price elsewhere and it could have been a cleaner environment, which would give it 5 stars for me, but we definitely will go back. read more
