I couldn't believe that he only charged me $80 for an OLED screen. He said he had a cheaper option for $60 if I went for the LCD sceeen but as soon as he demonstated the differences between 2 screens, I decided to go with the oLed screen. I originally brought it in knowing it was an older computer, but I was very clear that it contained years of irreplaceable photos that I wanted to recover. I was advised by their team to purchase a replacement screen on eBay, which I did, and they installed it. After the repair, I was unable to access the laptop because I forgot my password. Apple support advised me that resetting the computer would erase all data, including my photos. Because of that, I brought the laptop back to this shop specifically to extract the photos, and I was told this was something they could do. Since then, communication has been terrible. I have called multiple times asking for updates. Each time, I'm told the person helping me will call me back and they never do. No updates, no explanations, no follow-through. At this point, I just want to know: what is the hold up? Keeping a customer's computer for months with no communication is unacceptable. I'm hoping this review finally prompts someone to reach out and help resolve this situation, because my attempts to do so directly have gone nowhere.
