I have been a boost mobile customer for I believe a little over 16 yrs. I haven't had any issues with bill pay until around this last Christmas. Nothing but issues since. Can't call boost from your phone if disconnected, like you used to. Can't access my account because I can't get the verification txt with no service (no option for it to go to email or anything). Have had the hardest time trying to jump thru their dumb ass hoops. Had to get a new number at the start of their year because, long story short, the incompetent person in the store couldn't figure out how to change my plan and pay my bill (the 2 main things the phone store clerk should know). Did what he thought should be done... Didn't work... I finally got to talk to someone on the phone (using someone else's phone) the guy said it didn't work the way the store clerk said.The "store clerk" did something "on the phone guy" couldn't change. So after 2 hrs on the phone and so much other time, energy and effort wasted, I decided getting a whole new number was easier... Ugh I do love the service and the phones are tanks but something needs to be done about the changes that were made. This is for the customer service line, not this particular store-although their advertisements for plans are grievous in the "bait and switch" I just got off the phone with them AGAIN, (2nd time this morning) I was moved from a $30 a month plan, (by phone)to a $60 a month plan, with no better features. they no longer offer the $30 plan on the phone. Why? Why is boost only offering prices that go with REAL cell phone carriers (t-mobile, verizon, etc) while covering LESS? Customer service is non-existent. I was on hold for over 40 minutes earlier today, 20 minutes the second time. Customer service continuously spoke over me, while I was attempting to get my point across. The "employees" at every location I've been to from (the few left, probably bcuz they suck) Lynnwood to Auburn are crap. They'd rather, talk about dating, painting their nails or ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING but do their work. Full attention is NEVER paid to the customer. The preference is given to whomever seems more interesting. They do not listen or hear the customers. On top of that, good luck keeping your phn #. They will lie over the phone and in person to anyone in order to "pass the buck" to someone else. An unapologetically trifling company. Liars, cheaters, thrives and professional bs'rs in extraordinarily evil fashion. No wonder there's so few. They should be shut for theft of the public, false advertising and pretending to work. (boost never got it) my phone has been off for 4 days. been dealing with the derps at boost the last 3 days and lots of apologizing but no resolution. do yourself a favor.. get a prepaid phone through someone other then boost or virgin(SPRINT) read more

This store needs to be better staffed. We've been waiting for over 30 minutes for someone to get their phone set up and we just watched someone who had come in after us walk out because of the lack of service. Not to mention that he would likely have to wait just as long as we have because we also need to get a phone set up. read more

I purchased a phone from the Tukwila, Washington location on 10/10/2018. The store employee that helped me said I could return everything within 7 days if I was unhappy, with a full refund of my entire purchase. I wasn't happy with the quality and speed of my new phone so I went to the same location 10/11/2018, one day after purchase only to be told I could get only $36 out of the $125 that I payed yesterday. I returned the phone in perfect condition within the 7 day policy less that 24 hours later. I spoke to the manager of the store and she said that there was nothing they can do but give me a partial refund. I was very disappointed with the level of customer service or lack off. I spoke to the distract manager Zoe Hunt, and she was very unhelpful and abrasive on the phone. When I informed her of my situation she acknowledged the error on the behalf of Boost Mobile but refused to reimburse or make attempt to correct the situation. I finally decided to go w/ an i-phone. To port your number over, you need the Boost a/c # and you must call them to get it b/c it isn't on the website. So I called and transferred. It was an extra annoying step but ok. The horrible part was that I had a $30 a/c balance. The excess had been there for months in case I made international calls. I asked for a refund, got through to a supervisor, and he found the Terms & Conditions that said 'No Refunds' at account closing. Even if you had a running account balance, the money is now theirs. So, I still really like the people at the store, but the corporation itself is unfair to say the least. They have ensured that I will not return to Boost under any circumstances and any recommendations will now come with a warning. The best I can do here is report Boost to the Better Business Bureau. read more

I am not a yelp reviewer normally. I only look at yelp to see reviews. But, I've had a such a horrible experience with this Boost store so I had to write one to warn others. I ordered a phone through them and they told me that the phone would be shipped to the store in a week and I had to put a $100 deposit to order it. This was 4 weeks ago at this point. I called them and I get no response and sent straight to voicemail. They never gave me a shipping #. But they acted like they had already ordered the phone the day I went to the store. After 2 weeks of them not calling me and letting me know If my phone has came in I decided to call. I got sent to voicemail so many times. This was during the hours they were open as well. Finally, the next morning I called them right when they opened and they answered. His only response as to why they haven't let me know any info on the status of my phone was "I didn't call you because the phone isn't here yet." I go "okay, do you guys have a shipping # so that you can track the order?" He then says "no because the phone is coming with our next shipment of phones for the store". I'm very fed up with them at this point and needs to switch providers. Long story short, they lied to me and said they ordered a phone for me when they actually didn't and are just waiting for there next shipment of phones which they told me they have no idea when there next shipment will be. On 26 April, 2010 I bought a phone at boost mobile when driving up to Seattle from the airport, to use just for 5 days while I visited a sick friend. It was clear as a bell that I wanted pay-as-you-go rates, but Alexandria Haines (who said, as I walked out of the store "there are 200 minutes on it you paid for") either hit the wrong button on the computer or just jived me into the $50/month plan plus the cost of the phone. I tried to use it, in the rain, and dark, to find my friends and the hospital, and went through a song and dance with a bunch of morons who insisted I had to pay $30 more to use the phone. The damn thing didn't work and nobody would help straighten it out, even after 7 calls, with extremely long waits, transfers on the phone carosel known as "press this button, wait, now press this button, wait sucker, etc. ad nauseum) multiple hang-ups and rude, know-nothing customer we-don't-care personel. NOBODY would revert the plan back to the one I paid, nor put me on to a "supervisor" (they give you the idiot in the next cubicle or hang up on you) and to this day, almost a month later, I don't know if this rotten company will charge my credit card, making me go through more paperwork and calls for fraudulently charging it, or what. I visited this location looking to get a phone after leaving my pay plan with Sprint. The sales person was knowledgeable and was sure to tell me all about how the Sprint network is the same and it will be like I never left my paying service. That it literally is just "buy it and go" with Boost phones. Once I purchased the phone (they already slid my debit card) I was told about how the phone I got didn't have a hot spot, no 4g oh and doesn't come with a SIM card. I would have to purchase one separately. While I am a cellphone user of a few years now and should've known to ask these things I can't help but think of my grandparents who would jump on the "just buy it and go" offer that I was given. Shame on me for not asking every single question in the book regarding the phone I was being sold; shame on them for not divulging information regarding a product missing things most consumers would assume it would have. Especially since it's almost no different from a paying plan so they say... I've agreed to hold off further judgement until I've had the service for a month or two. read more
