The store has a pretty good selection, I purchased work boots from here almost a year ago. They had started to rip inside and become uncomfortable. The manager Ruben went above and beyond to help me figure out what options I had since I had spent a lot of money on the boots initially and needed something comfortable that will last at work. I thought I was going to have to buy new boots but to my surprise when I showed up there with my current boots, instead of ripping me off by saying I needed to buy a new pair, Ruben offered alternatives. He said the boots had life left in them still and set me up with some really comfortable memory foam insoles that he himself put in my boots for me. He also demonstrated how this special spray is supposed to work and help keep water from damaging the leather and the inside of the boots. He gave me discounts on both products. It was very refreshing to have a manager or business in general that actually cares to help you and save you some money. Nowadays businesses and managers don't treat customers very well. I will be back when I need a new pair of work boots and will be letting my family members know how good this place is ran. Good customer service goes a long way! read more

I was calling around for a store that carries Superfeet insoles, spoke to Kaitlyn and she answered my questions and seemed very happy to help. I stopped by after work and both Kaitlyn and May were very helpful in getting me into the correct insoles I needed, making sure I had the most comfortable ones according to my foot arch, size, and getting them properly fitted to my work boots. They both had a great attitude making sure I got exactly what I needed and I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service! I would bring my business here just for that. As for the store itself I would never expect them to carry Superfeet just from driving by so that was a good surprise, I didn't browse too much but they did have some quality hiking socks and some nice Wolverine boots that I would consider when I need new boots. read more

I came in to find some work shoes and I was recommended the converse style shoe for work shoes when I walked in the 2 girls working there where sitting in the back chatting up a storm then I had asked for help where I can find those shoes and the girl gave me a displeasing Attitude and said she had no clue what I was talking about so I ganders around the store and found another pair they where horrible I work in a fast paced resteraunt and they literally fell apart within 3 months horrible service and horrible shoes read more

I visited Boot World in Lakewood after finding them in a Google search for Ugg retailers. I had been wanting to purchase a new pair of Uggs, but have had trouble when ordering online due to sizing issues. I did not want to order yet another pair, just to have to send them back. I wanted to try them on first. However, because the current state of the pandemic in LA/Orange counties , I was hesitant to visit the Ugg Outlet or Ugg store at the South Coast Plaza mall. I took a look at Boot World's reviews on Yelp, which were quite positive, and also visited their website. When I finally decided to pay them a visit, I was so pleased when the friendly young sales associate, Kaitlyn, asked me kindly to use the available hand sanitizer and took my temperature. I was the only customer in the store and felt completely safe. It was so refreshing to patronize a retailer who is looking out for the health of its employees and customers. Finding steel-toe footwear for women with a smaller shoe size can be a challenge, especially when considering comfort and something appealing to my style. I have been waiting a while to write an honest review so I can give a review of the shoes too. I went in here because I got hired at a fast food restaurant so I needed shoes. Working was Tatiana and Jasmin and I told them my situation and they helped out. Jasmin noted that I had flat feet and Tatiana got out some real comfy sketcher work shoes that she said are slip proof and stain proof and brought out insoles that will keep my feet comfortable but also help with the flat feet problem. It turned out real cheap and I was really happy. This was during September, fast forward to now and my shoes ares still in great condition and did all that the two sales ladies promised would. Countless times has grease fallen onto my shoes and come off easy. Ice is always dropped but I never slip because these shoes are really slip proof.
