We drank a couple beers here during our visit to Tampa. The Honey Nut Cheers lager was interesting... I didn't think too much of it after the first two or three sips. But about halfway through the pint, the honey made itself known. A good beer. The Farm (a blackberry sour) was equally, if not more, interesting. The beer selection is ample, we enjoyed a couple of flights in a nice seating area outside. Inside they were having trivia night, we were comfortably relaxing outdoors. You do have to go get your drinks inside, it seems it's a one man show, but regardless the bartender did great! Oh, they do have some snacks too, pretzels and such, but the experience here is the beer. Overall, two flights of beers will set you back $28, but they are generous pours! read more

Went there with my wife we went in and sat down at a table. The waitress was helping somebody with somthing and when she finally got over to our table she gave us one menu and took off again. She did not ask us for a drink order or anything. She didn't come back in 10 min. So we left. I don't recommend this place so don't come here. Complete waste of our time. read more

In town for a two day get-away with the wife. We were looking for some craft breweries an this is the only one in the area. The beer selection was great and the New England IPA was awesome. Stopped here after Tampa RV Supershow. Picked it based upon previous reviews. Nice spot, with plenty of beer choices. Food was good, and although it is supposed to be an order at the bar service, we had a bartender that came to the table to take and deliver our orders. I would definitely return. read more

Had a great time at this place today. After recently moving from AZ where the brewery scene was top notch, this place didn't disappoint. Alex and Brandon were very knowledgeable, helping with the selection process, the environment was comfortable and inviting, and everything was VERY clean (I appreciate the additional hand sanitizer along with the soap in the bathroom). Do yourself a favor and stop here. The beer is GREAT - we had the Cream Coquito style ale...delicious, the NE style IPA...so good. Husband said the Vienna lager was good. Food is decent for a brewery. Pizzas are flatbread style, FYI. I had the Italian grinder with some kind of spread that was delicious. Great place to bring the family and enjoy the outdoor porch! I rarely review, only if I'm blown away with a place. Bootleggers Brewing is a must see! The sour tasted like lemongrass, the saison is honestly the best one I've had! I was sooo impressed- so many breweries only add seltzers to fill a request, I only tried their's because I love black currant. It is such an amazing seltzer! The staff is top notch! For parents- the changing station is the best I have seen! Guards on each side, sanitation wipes, and plastic bags for diapers! I only have two regrets- that I don't live closer, and that I kissed Oktoberfest and pumpkin beer season! read more

I've been to a lot of Breweries (I'm a very big fan of local breweries) and there's a 2 things I always look for when rating a brewery: Atmosphere and Selection. Bootleggers Brewing does quite well in the atmosphere and selection department (I give them 4/5 in both); the selection is a bit small but it's a wide selection. My go-to beer is a sour and I've always found at least one sour of their rotating selection to be very good. The place has a lot of different seating options (including a couch on an upstairs area) along with wifi and plenty of TVs for watching the game. A very very solid brewery that I'm sure you'll find me at again! read more

Went here on a whim after brunch and was not disappointed! They have such an extensive, fun and different menu with lots of tap and canned beers. I had a seasonal sour ale which one of the workers recommended. My friend got a flight of beers from the tap and was very satisfied! They have a house smoker where they make their wings, so moist and flavorful. The owner even took us into the back to give us a tour and some samples of the hibiscus mead he's making! Cozy and quaint little joint. It was pretty calm and quiet, which was good for our party because old Andy cannot hear well :). They had a great selection of beers, the guys enjoyed what they had. They were nice to share samples of beers that were not common. We ordered the flat breads and a couple of sandwiches and they were great. Got excited about the nachos but they had beer cheese on them, so we did not get those....In my opinion beer cheese is gross on nachos, but to each their own. My only dislike is that you have to go to the bar to order everything...each round of beers, food, etc. They are small enough to be able to rough wait on tables. After I left, I questioned myself as to why I tipped like I would at a full service place. I would definitely go back, it is a great place to sit and talk without music overpowering your conversation. Then came back in the evening (an easy walk across the parking lot from the Hampton) and they had live music which made the vibe even more fun.
