They treat you kindly, and with respect, and I can't complain about the big comfy couch in the waiting area. The customer napping in the waiting area told us that she has been a loyal customer for 22 years. That really says something in these days of swindling and crooked auto shops. After a recent tie rod installation, we felt that the Altima needed a front wheel alignment. When they saw that it didn't need one, they only charged us a small diagnostic fee and were honest in telling us that no alignment was needed. Many shops out there would have just done the alignment and charged us, or worse, exploited the already optimal alignment and act as if they aligned it since we requested one be done. We decided to put the diagnostic fee towards replacing the old and worn drive belt anyway, which also was a fair price. There may be some shops that are cheaper than Master Auto, but the cool thing about this place is that the folks really know what they're doing and they're honest people. They won't recommend you to do anything the car doesn't need. I would rather pay a middle of the road rate with a high caliber and honest shop, rather than be woo'ed by cheap shops that will falsify a laundry list of issues and scam you of hard earned money! We will definitely be returning to Master Auto for our vehicular needs! This is a great dealership replacement shop.

But as it turns out the work performed really improved the performance of my car. The one struct was replaced and now my car sits up much higher than before. Also, the brakes were done and now I can stop on a dime. My only complaint and it's not really a complaint but I would like for someone from the shop to give the customer a daily status update. I should preface this review with the fact that I am a college Student with an incredibly crunched…read moreschedule and an old car with millions of problems. Master Radiator has been servicing my vehicles for the last 8+ years at least with excellent service. Most Recently, my power steering went out after my hoses for the unit ruptured. Of course, they took photos to show the damage, not just say that something's broken. They serviced it in a timely manner, but unfortunately there were some bumps in the road. They hired a NEW Technician who worked on the vehicle... who basically destroyed my rack & pinion, requiring a replacement, but *he didn't tell anybody.* After the desk called me to confirm they can fix the part (believing that it was broken before they had someone work on the car), they had him install a NEW one, and he destroyed that one too. At this point, they discovered that he was responsible for my original part being destroyed as well as the new one they were supposed to install. That technician suggested they just charge me for a new part & labor, and not disclose it to me. At this point in time, they fired said technician IMMEDIATELY. They called me, informed me of the situation, and then didn't charge me for either of the parts, or any of the labor. UPON RECIEVING THE CAR: I guess they could only find a Remanufactured part for my Rack & pinion. Remanufactured parts typically have light defects, and the new Rack & Pinion's defect was a little bit of play in my steering wheel. After reporting this concern to them, two of the mechanics came out to my car with me, did an inspection right in front of me, and explained that the part was Remanufactured, and there's a chance that if we replaced it again, there would be another defect... But we could still warranty the part out and get a new one if it was bothering me, but ultimately, the car WAS safe to drive (big thanks to Justin and Ben for seeing me right away) I decided that I'd gamble on the warranty, and Master Radiator definitely delivered. They installed a brand new R&P, and didn't even charge me for the labor! As far as I'm concerned, they took a really big financial hit to serve me, the customer. They will be keeping my business so long as I live in Michigan. 10/10, Definitely Recommend. Some service features to note: - You will be able to see pictures from the inspection so you don't just have to take their word for everything - You can call at any time and have them talk you through what they plan to do with your car if there's any confusion - You'll ALWAYS get an itemized bill - You can pick and choose through a list of *suggested* fixes, so you don't have to have to take the "All or Nothing" approach that most mechanics nail you with. And NO. They won't try to upsell you on stuff unless its legitimately necessary.

I read the reviews and knew this was the place I wanted our Pathfinder serviced. From the moment I spoke with Jay on the phone till I picked up the Pathfinder. I felt totally comfortable and assured it would be fixed correctly and at a fair price. It was and at a very fair price! Well, Jay delivered. In fact, he went above and beyond the norm lately for most auto repair shops. He checked the tire pressure, the fluids, topping them all off. Plus, with our pathfinder almost twenty years old. He did a full inspection of the undercarriage, suspension, and brakes. No additional charges. When I drove out, I KNEW my car was fixed correctly and safe. Pulled in with a leaky bleeder valve , barely dripping, left with paying them just under 400 for a thermostat car didn't need and bleeder valve still leaking but when they looked at it , pulled the hose to hard and cracked the nozzle on the overflow tank and not car is spraying like a garden hose. Wasn't when she pulled in , but after they did it , told her , there's your problem . Liars and theives, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT .
