Forever my favorite nail spot . I came in today , on this rainy Monday . I got a full set with peach acrylic, gel pedicure and eye brows . I was so happy I was the only one there as they can get very busy, even on a weekday. My nail tech ALWAYS takes his time, and makes sure he does my nails exactly how I like and want them . The pedicure as always was very relaxing with the massage chair , and it was quiet with low music playing that sets the calm vibe . The pricing is also very reasonable. My nails were $90, gel pedicure $40 and eyebrows $7. Everything is done perfectly to your liking and they always ask and make sure you are satisfied. They will always be my go to spot for pampering and to get extra pretty lol. If your ever in the area give them a try . I promise you wont be disappointed. read more

If I can give it zero I would. They tried to charge me $4 to use my debit card to pay. They don't have an atm so I had to go out in the cold to the corner to use the atm... then they had the audacity to tell me to leave my phone because people steal I guess. I was offended. I went and came back and they got no tip. Also it's a little dirty in there. I wouldn't recommend. My toes chipped two days later. Waste of money and horrible customer service. read more

My first time here and I got the spa pedicure. First let's get pricing out of the way. It's supposed to be $26 and gel polish is extra about $17. Now the good stuff: Xixi was amazing and so thorough. The leg wrap, scrub, massage and hot stones are worth the money. I will definitely be going back to get a gel manicure from her! Oh and the salon was clean, staff was quiet but friendly. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. To give credit where it is due, the nail technician, Ming, does the most beautiful designs. I asked for a chrome look and he delivered. However, when I stopped by the shop, I specifically asked if they knew how to work with Gel X/Apres nails. 1) They used UV Gel on me - NOT Gel X/Apres nails; and 2) after being reassured multiple times he had experience with the technique, it became very clear he had never done UV Gel nails before. Ming asked a fellow nail tech about the procedure about three different times? One of my nails broke the following day (They didn't even last a full 24 hours). The second nail broke two days after that, and my third nail broke about a day after. I should also emphasize that the nails that broke were the ones he did a full brand new UV Gel. The nails that did not break probably only lasted longer because they were fill ins, aka someone else's works. This has never happened to me before because I take ***incredibly*** good care of my nails. When I went back to ask him to fix it, he tried charging me as if it was my fault that the nails had been placed horribly. I kindly refused to pay, he asked me to come back the following day so he could do them for free. After getting them fix, they broke again - one day later and another one two days after. I paid $160 for these nails but hated them so much, I ended up cutting them off after the second time around. :) (Nothing is worse than having 2 shorts nails and the rest be long) I decided to give the place another chance, since I genuinely liked the way they did my toes the first time around (Ming did not do my toes). This time, I promised myself I would only allow them to do gel toes because they clearly don't know how to work with UV gel. The Borgata instagram (@utica866nails) clearly states the shop closes at 8:30pm on Mondays-Saturdays. I arrived at 7:48pm and was told that it was closed (despite the fact that there was about five workers using their phone, doing absolutely nothing). I've worked in the service industry myself and know how disrespectful customers can be so I try my absolute best to be kind, even when upset. Hence, when I explained to them why I had shown up at that time, I was told multiple times it was closed. Ultimaltely, the owner got involved and told me that although the shop closes at 8:30pm, they take the last customer at 8:00pm. Again, I had arrived long before 8pm. One of the nail ladies was also extremely condescending, giggling as she told me that I would have to come back tomorrow - over and over again. Again, this place is not worth your time and money. The nails came out okay but the fact that they over charging people now that it is COVID is annoying as fuck mind you when I ask how much for my names and toes I was told to look at the price list which I did. When it was time to pay I gave $44 and was charged 5 dollars more for the shape coming up to a total of $49. The shape charge was no where on the price list or anywhere on the walls. Some nail salons charge for the shape but I didn't appreciate being surprised at the end once I did my nails. read more

Yeah this place isn't all that. Not sure if the lady doing my pedicure knew what she was doing in the beginning. She wasn't very gentle with any of the tools. She did smile a lot though. I didn't quite catch her name but she is one of the younger girls who works at the stores. At the end of the day, the design was very nice and she got a tip from me for being so nice. read more

I Love this Nail Salon, they are so creative, colorful, fast, you may wait awhile, but they treat you like you are their only customer!!!!

Dont come on the weekend and be prepared to wait especially in the summer months. However they do nice work. No english isn't their first language, no your not going to get like this amazing service, no its not like a modern shop but honestly you don't really go to a nail salon on church and utica ave for that. They do nails clean and are very aware of how to do nails where your nails wont be falling off the following week. read more

I went to this salon back in June for a nail job-new tips and simple nail design. It went well as a nail tech who sat close to the front of the store did my nails. Well, the next two times I went back for a fill-in, I ended up in the chair of a technician who has like colored hair. He also sits close to the front of the store. I don't remember his name, well long story short he did my fill-n and I had to remind him to break the acrylic off of my nail because the seal had been broken. When the seal around the cuticle line is broken, water can get under the nail and cause a nail fungus, he didn't file the thumb nail on my left hand properly, which resulted in the seal being broken and for four weeks water was getting under my nail, and I ended up with a fungus on my nail. I ended up taking the nails off at another salon and the technician there was the one who discovered the fungus on my nail, and told me what to do to cure it. It was so bad, that it rot my natural nail off of my finger. It was so painful to remove the acrylic. I WILL NEVER go back to that place. Just a nightmare. Now I am walking around with a band aid to hide it from people because the nail has to be snipped every few days to push off the rotten nail. I wish I could attach a photo.Great way to end the summer huh!! I never did pedicures there because for the most part, I noticed that they didn't use bleach or anything else to really kill the bacteria in the sink. When you mention it, they get upset. I mean questions about sterilization are just smart questions but go figure. read more

I came here expecting a great experience since they held a 5 star review. I walked in and asked how long for a pedicure. The lady in the front tells me to go to the back where they sit me in a chair to soak my feet for almost an hour. Instead of telling me that they were busy and the wait would be about an hour I guess they found this to be the best way to get the customer. The place is a small little dingy nail salon. I guess I should have expected this considering the area. This was supposed to be my way of killing time while I wait for my hair dresser, instead they messed my schedule up. They allow solicitors to come in and try to sell you their products. When I come to the salon, I want my privacy and I want to relax. This is my ME time. I don't think I should have to be subjected to someone who is trying to sell me some cheap jewelry or head bands. This will be my last time here. I will stay with the long island salons!!! Cleaner and more professional. read more
