Stopped in during a business trip to Columbus and found Borgata online, so we figured that we would give it a try. The pizza here is absolutely awesome and their cannoli are phenomenal! The only down side for me was that they didn't have draft beer, but that is a small concession for this good of pizza. They do have bottle beer and wine though. This was an excellent choice for pasta the Friday night before my race early Saturday morning. I got the cavatelli with meat sauce and added a meatball to it. The meatball was FULL of flavor and was delicious. It's been so long since I've seen cavatelli on a menu and I'm so glad I got it. It hit the spot. The garlic bread was good and so was the order of fresh bread my sister ordered. I did try her Alfredo and wasn't a huge fan. I would gladly come here again. Staff is very unprofessional I called in carry out order rt before 530 pm- 1 large pizza and garlic bread and paid in full over phone. They said 1 hr which is quite long for simple carryout order. So I arrived at 630 pm to pick up order that I already paid for. Told her name and she looked and said it almost ready and to wait in my car, so waited in car 15min and watched 6-7 people who came in after me received there carryout order so I called in to check on order due to there being to many people in restaurant in my opinion- with Covid. Called and after another 10 min they finally answered and before I could say a word he put me on hold for another 4-6 min. Told them I've been waiting for 30 minutes outside and she told me it gonna be 10 more min told her to have manger bring out my order so I could let him know my displeasure of how long it's taken. So I'm kinda stuck because paid- 5min later manager brought out food and told him that to tell me a hr and give me the run around for over 35-40 min is unacceptable. I ask him what he was going to to make it right and keep me a customer and not write a bad review and he said I'm sorry but I'm not going do anything for someone asking for refund I've got over 7k worth of sales going on rt now and said have nice night and walk away. I told him as he walked away I would be reaching out to owners. I run a business and the customer is always rt no matter what -Borgata Showed it true self tonight they make u pay for carryout first and don't care how long it takes. Love this place. We only do carry out so have not experienced the dine in service. However, the carry out service is superb. In spite of complex orders we've had on occasion, we've had accuracy in every case. Their estimated times required to have food ready have been excellent, and they always have food at great temperatures whether hot- or cold like a salad. Then there is the food itself. We tend to get the sausage stuffed peppers plus paninis. Every menu item we've tried so far features excellent ingredients. Just yummy. My only gripe is the arugula on some hot paninis. It gets stringy and tough and detracts from the other great stuff. My solution: hold the arugula! It's a great place. Thanks Borgata. read more

After a terrible delivery mix up from Postmates, we decided to give this place another shot, especially since our go-to pizza spot Leone's shut down... the environment was casual and relaxing, and service was excellent and speedy! Our server Hannah even gave us 10% off after sharing our Postmates ordeal! We ordered some bread with oil to start, a half cheese/half meatball pizza, and a lemon ricotta cake for dessert. Bread was great- ask for some garlic butter to spread on! Pizza was phenomenal and a worthy replacement of Leone's. Good pizza, terrible service. They will only accept credit cards over the phone. The last time I gave them my credit card over the phone, my number mysteriously got stolen. They were the only place I'd given it out. The manager didn't care and refused to allow me to pay in the store with a credit card "because of COVID". So apparently there is a greater risk of getting COVID from my credit card than exchanging money handled by many people. Maybe try reading that COVID isn't spread by touch. Wow was I so excited to try the new Borgata location as I am a big fan of the original location. Although I'm not a big fan of New York style pizza they make a really good pie so I ear it because it's obvious there's a lot of love in the dough and what tastes like made from scratch sauce. I got the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and sauce with a salad and their homemade Italian dressing which is so divine and amazing no word to describe. The Chicken Parm has so much that my hubby and I shared it and had leftovers for him for lunch. That's amazing. One dish I found myself loving a lot was the Gnocche Alfredo um folks I normally don't eat anything Alfredo normally not a fan but yup it works so much for me in this dish that I'd order this again when we come back like I said when we come back it's that awesome. Trying a new place. So far I can say Pepsi products.... BOO. and it loud as hell. The place is packed and the waitresses are busting their butts. We wanted a little taste of a few things.The alfredo was amazing!!! Pizza was really good, pepperoni has a little kick. Garlic bread was ok- Pasquale's still rules. When I called to place the order it was clear they were busy and the hostess was annoyed I called. We were told 30 min. for pick up. My husband still had to wait an additional 10 after getting there. When he got home my brownie and bread weren't included and on top of that when I cut into my meatball it was raw! I did call to talk to a manger and she credited back the brownie. What was meant to be an easy dinner night turned into a night filled with unprofessional customer service and a terrible dinner. I ordered a large supreme pizza for pickup at 6:00p.m. When I arrived to pick up our order at 6:02p.m., the pizza box was completely soaked through and smashed on the top from sitting in an oven bag in an attempt to keep it warm. It was obvious that the pizza had been sitting in the oven bag for a decent amount of time given the state of the box. After inquiring with a staff member, the manager arrived and explained the boxes always soak through, even if they have been in the bag a short amount of time. The manager assured me that my pizza was placed in the bag 2 minutes before I arrived. Before leaving, I opened the pizza box in front of the manager. The cheese was visibly hard, telling me the pizza had in fact not been placed on the counter at 6:00p.m. as the manager had assured me. In bringing this to the managers attention, she continued to claim they had just put the pizza on the counter and the pizza boxes soak through all the time. After going back and forth with the manager, she offered to make me a new pizza. With two young kids at home, one of which is a newborn, I was not in a position to wait for another pizza to be made. Upon arriving at my house, which is 5 minutes away from Borgata Pizza Café, I reopened the box to find that not only was the cheese hard, but the pizza was cold, the crust was soggy, and our salads were frozen. Frustrated with my overall experience and the product they had provided me, I called to speak to the manager a second time. Similar to my in-store experience, she became combative with me and it was clear I was not going to get anywhere nor was she going to provide any resolution or apology for my experience. The pizza is ok, the pasta is good, the service is awful. Gave 2 stars as the food is good. However, since the summer the service has taken a turn for the worse. It's a 50-50 chance to actually get through for a carry out order. When eating there the service is slow even when the place is only half full. We had given this place several chances as we wanted to like it but the service has deteriorated to the point where it is consistently bad. We will not be going back. read more

Love the food, especially the wings but you need to really work on the customer experience. Since you serve very tasty wings, you need to have wet naps at the table. Trips to the bathroom to wash your hands every time is not customer friendly. Napkins need to be on the tables too (don't cheap out, its $20 pizza!) I am all for technology and making our lives easier but the handheld waiter tablets to checkout (POS) is a horrible customer experience. I paid cash and the waiter had no clue how to handle it (yes, some people still carry cash!!). Also, the waiter hovering over you (tablet) to check out will only result in lower tips (I guarantee it). Tipping is a private decision and no one wants their waiter standing over them while they decide. The waiters seemed unorganized and not supervised, there were a ton there but no on seemed to be doing much. My salad came late and it had two halves of tomato...green, unripened tomato. Better get these things worked out or customers will move on to the next pizza place. read more

It's a good pizza dough and the toppings are tasty, but why is the bottom of the crust so freakin soggy? Second time we've ordered take out that it's been like that. Can only hypothesize that they have a crappy oven that can't crisp up the bottom of the pizza. The grates pattern on the bottom of the pizza suggests conveyer belt. So I would be totally willing to give this place 4-5 stars but the wait was just excruciatingly long. Went here this past Saturday a couple hours before the B1G championship game hoping to try some great NY pie before the buckeyes victory. I would say they were about half full when we got seated. Anyways, took about an hour for our 1 pizza to come out, which according to the waitress, was due to the number of carry out orders. While I totally understand, there needs to be a balance as far as people dining in versus those getting it to-go. They did give us free bread and vinegar/olive oil, which was pretty tasty, but that definitely wasn't enough to overcome the wait. I did really enjoy the pizza (16" NY sausage and pep) and when I do come back I will be calling ahead to place a to-go order.
