    Inside

Lovely inside, but the current staff is horrible at service. Had to remind them about my carrot cake after walking around and waiting with no one else there. And the staff was having heated arguments without bothering to hide it which made for some light entertainment lol. Big menu available and plenty to look at inside. Quiet music. Book stand. Newspapers and local crafts for sale. Food is ok. I'd come back again for a relaxing time in this cute town, or another chuckle at the staff's behavior.

Pork Roll, egg and cheese on an everything egg bagel / salt, pepper + ketchup

Yummy food and atmosphere that's just as great. I went conservative with a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything egg bagel. It was very good and I'd get it again for sure but would probably try something more Boro Bean specific because of the quality of their food. We hung out here for over 2 hours eatting food, hanging out and enjoying our coffee with no feeling of being rushed out. Plenty of outdoor seating with quality tables and umbrellas etc. We'll be back!

I found this place by accident and glad I did. They have a great menu selection for breakfast and lunch. They even had bake goods. I tried the provolone turkey panini and it was delicious, it was a good portion. I tried their pistachio latte and it was good, they have oat and almond milk alternatives. They have WiFi which is nice if you work on the road like myself. The ambiance is very relax and cozy. They have seating inside and outside which is nice. Street parking is available.

Best breakfast ever! The food is good and fresh! The avocado toast and campesino is so delicious! Nice folks! Very kind and the staff too They are a wonderful team !

Update from a few years ago... new owners, new menu, brighter interior, wifi always available, open until 3pm with new evening summer hours (Th, Fri, Sat, 6-9pm), new dessert case, see photo!

Zucchini and Asiago panini with spinach and artichoke spread. It comes with a side- I picked bean salad

Boro Bean was very busy on Sunday at lunchtime, but the moist homemade muffins were well worth the wait! It's very hard to read boro their chalkboard menus, but I was able to pick out a zucchini Asiago panini with spinach and artichoke spread. It was perfectly grilled to a crisp and served with a bean salad or potato chips. I also got a honey almond muffin which was crunchy on the top but soft and moist in the middle. I have to say that someone else in my group got a Heath bar muffin and he wasn't a fan, found it a bit dry. In terms of seating, there are a number of tables outside as well as a couple of heaters. It's a quality spot for a pastry or bite with a nice hot drink!

Outstanding lunch today! Had the Avocado Salad, it was loaded with Tomatoes, HB Eggs, Tunafish, some veggies, plenty of Lettuce, could barely finish it! They have a home-made salad dressing too that Rocked! She had Chicken Quesadilla. We plan to return!

Had such a wonderful experience at Blawenburg Bistro!…read more I ordered the pesto egg on sourdough with homemade pesto, a perfectly cracked egg, fresh greens, and balsamic sauce -- and honestly, I was blown away. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the flavors came together beautifully. It's one of those dishes you instantly know you'll come back for again and again. The greens on the side were fresh and complemented it really well. My wife had the mushroom + Gruyère omelette with shallots and garlic, served with sweet potatoes -- and she absolutely loved it. She's already a fan of anything with mushrooms, but this one, with the Gruyère, took it to another level. It really hit the spot. And the coffee -- freshly brewed and full of flavor -- was the perfect finish. What truly stood out was the serving staff -- warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. They made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. Warm, cozy vibe, great food, and definitely a place we'll be returning to!

The service was friendly while the ordering was done. All four donuts were tried. My thoughts on each are below. Vanilla Cruller ($3.25) - This was very light. The texture reminded me of a bread pudding, and crusty bread. It needed more of a vanilla flavoring. Filled Caramel Corn ($4) - This had sweet corn custard, caramel topping, and caramel popcorn. The custard was great. It appeared heavy when picking up, but that was not the case at all. The caramel topping reminded me of a crème brulee. The popcorn pieces were a little stale, but not a big deal. I liked the donut texture as well. Banana pudding ($4) - This was very tasty. It tasted what I expected it too and there was a nice feel on the donut. Mango Raspberry ($4) - The raspberry flavor combined with the mango was appealing, but I was expecting more mango actually. It appeared very light too. Will I go back? Probably.

My wife and I came to Brick Farm Tavern for my birthday dinner since we like trying someplace new…read morein the area. The setting is very nice. It has a rustic farmhouse feel (wood floors with wide boards, multiple fireplaces) but still comes across as more upscale than your typical tavern. The dining room has a warm atmosphere without being too loud, so you can actually have a conversation without shouting. We started with the seasonal pickle plate (beets, carrots, cauliflower, cucumber, fennel, olives) and the bread plate (three different breads with two different butters and olive oil). Both were a good way to kick things off. The pickled vegetables had a nice variety and the bread was fresh and paired well with the accompaniments. For our entrees, my wife went with the homemade pasta while I chose the Wagyu NY strip steak cooked medium rare with bourbon maple glazed root vegetables. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and had great flavor. The root vegetables added a nice sweetness that complemented the dish well. My wife really enjoyed her pasta and had enough to take some home. To finish the night, we had the mozzarella gelato (yes, you read that right - mozzarella), along with tea for my wife and coffee and Sambuca for me. The gelato was a unique dessert and a nice way to wrap up the meal. Our waitress Jemma was very friendly and attentive throughout the night without being overbearing. Overall, everything was very good. This is definitely a place we would return to, especially for a nice dinner out.

This was a large historic farmhouse with a menu that changes often. They source most of their food…read moreright from their farms which was cool to see. The service was very friendly, and the food came out promptly. They also provided complimentary champagne for our celebration. For appetizers, the duck bacon and vegetable fritters ($16) and hand-made potato and cheese pierogies ($19) were ordered. The fritters consisted of house cured and smoked duck breast with a whipped lemon ricotta. There were two present and each were fried perfectly. The lemon ricotta was definitely needed to pair with the salty fritter. It was a great compliment. The pierogies were of the squash variety and they came with caramelized onions and sauteed greens. There were about five or six substantial size pierogies and each sized appropriately. The squash layer really made them airy and the filling was tasty. The onions were a little too soft as there was some type of broth present. The greens were ideal though. For an entrée, I had the signature tavern burger ($38). It was a cold smoked grass-fed ground beef patty with caramelized onion, bone marrow, bacon jam, and potato wedges. I also had the gruyere and bacon added to the burger for no extra fee. When I initially ordered, I thought the bone marrow was just going to be on the burger, but I was wrong. Right next to the burger was one of bigger bone marrows I have seen. It was very good with the onions and bacon pieces. The marrow itself paired nicely with the bacon and onions. For the burger itself, I opted for it to be medium rare, and it came out perfect. There was an ideal ratio of bread to filling. The bacon jam was not too overpowerful, and the meat was seasoned well. The potato wedges which I believe were cooked in tallow were also large. They were crispy and seasoned nicely too. It was a well put together meal. I also tried the lamb being offered that night which I believe came with a lamb sausage and a shallot tzatziki. This was solid as well, but there were a number of fatty pieces I was surprised to see. For dessert, the mozzarella gelato ($12) was ordered. Yes, this had to be ordered to give it a try, and it was well received. There was not an overpowerful flavor of cheese, which I was afraid of. It did taste like mozzarella, but not overwhelming. The actual gelato was very creamy too, which I am sure helped. Will I go back? I would.
