This is the white swab run through the A/C with the metal shavings

Hopefully you are seeing this and other reviews like it before making your purchase. If so I have several reasons why this is not the dealership you should do business with. We purchased a 2017 Model X from them after finding it as a great price on Car Gurus. 1. The price they quote is $3000 to $6000 less than the actual price as they will add a Dealer fee. 2. You likely saw several images of a 3 year -100k mile warranty attached to the vehicle images giving you the assumption that it's a pretty safe bet. It does not apply to vehicles over 100k miles. Even 106k miles. 3. Specifically for prospective Tesla buyers, they have no clue about the vehicle they're selling. We drove over 4 hours to pick up the car and when we showed up it wasn't charged. They say it is because they only have a 110 outlet and it charges too slow (the salesman said it takes 2 weeks to charge to 100% - from 50-100% takes 36 hours at most on a 110). Conveniently not charging it also lets them mask any battery degradation. Our car that should have a range of 295 miles (100D) as was listed on Car Gurus only gets up to 261 at 100%. And it won't even get that. We are not zippy drivers reveling in all that instant acceleration, we bought it because it seats 6. So I begin driving back to make it back to Tulsa in time for an evening shift and my wife and our newborn start back an alternate route in the brand new car to see her mom. By the time she reaches the Denton Supercharger the car has massively overheated in January with warning messages about the A/C. I call right away letting them know it's 88 degrees inside. No attempt to fix it or have us bring it back. My wife and baby suffer though the trip back and I have an appointment set with the Tesla service center here in Tulsa. The compressor is shredded and there's metal all through the system, total replacement - $4000. I send them the invoice and a picture of the metal covered cleaning swab from the A/C line. No way it could have been missed. I'm told the GM will call me on January 13th. I call or text regularly for the next month. I finally received the response today that they will do nothing to make it right. Not the $4000 invoice, not a return on the $2890 dealership surcharge, not $1000 token of good faith. Not a penny. 5. Their salesman will be very friendly and work to give you that good feeling. You aren't friends. They aren't there to be your friend, they are there to get you to finance whatever vehicle the dealership found at auction and cleaned up to look nice. This isn't one of those we'll take care of you and make sure everything is right. So if you choose to buy a vehicle from them you need to know you are assuming all risk and they have no qualms about it. I wouldn't buy from them again. I wish I hadn't in the first place. Don't let necessity and circumstance drive you to make such a risky decision.

This is what I bought...Much more ergonomically friendly than the Corvettes I had test-driven earlier.

I purchased a truck from this dealership at the end of 2015. I decided to write a review now, in…read more2019, because a few things have always bothered me about the transaction. Here they are. They told me there had been one previous owner, that was true. They told me it was a commuter vehicle, explicitly claiming it was not a work truck. The first time time I washed it, a business logo appeared on the back windows. It can only be seen in certain light, with a thin layer of moisture applied. But, it does seem like it was, in fact, a work truck. Next up, come time around a year after purchase. Paint on hood, bumper and above wheels faded. The paint does not appear to be original on these parts. Lost their shine. I would speculate they aren't even the original parts. I do not know the details, but reviewing the carfax I see the vehicle was partially rebuilt just before the ownership transferred from the original owner to Charlton. But they did not mention that. Did they not know? Or did they just lie to me?. I guess when the dealer tells you something to your face, you have to check the carfax and not trust what they tell you. But I did not know that. I was young and naive (still am maybe). Thirdly, the salesman mentioned he had been driving the vehicle personally prior to the sale. I would rather not know that the salesmen drive around in the vehicles until they are sold. That kind of taints the experience, eh? Fourthly, when going over financials, the salesman asked how I made my money and complimented my salary. Next, he bragged that he, in fact, made more money than I did. Well, good for him. Not quite so professional, huh?

When using their finance they will tell you 2 hard hits which became 3 hard hits to the credit report after I was clear I would not accept more than 2. Response: Thats what happens. Did not complete the work they were supposed to do and agreed to do. The vehicle had a check engine light at purchase time, they replaced an O2 Sensor and said it was fixed. 19 miles later the light came back on. In a txt message they replied "Looks like we will have to replace the catalytic converter" They knew it was bad and tried to get away with it. I returned the vehicle and they sent it to the Manufacturer dealership for repair under factory warranty. A review of the Huffines Dealership will be separate from this one as Huffines was horribly slow. They were supposed to replace the trailer wiring that had been cut and install a replacement wiring harness for a 4 prong trailer connector. The sales guy said Yes it is right under here. Went to hook up my trailer and got under to find it.. Not there.. I just ordered myself a 7 to 4 adapter so as not to go back to this place. Not a big deal but why lie about it. What else did they lie about I wonder. During the time my new vehicle was in the dealership Charlton provided a loaner car. This car smelled of cigarette smoke so bad I could not sit in it. They did not have another and asked me to Febreeze the car. Seriously I can show you the txt message on this. So that sat outside not being used as the stench was horrendous. Maybe this was a horrid sales guy, maybe a one off occurrence but frankly I would say to go somewhere else when looking based on my experience.

I bought a 2013 F250 Super Duty Lariat which they said had no problems and wasn't leaking oil. I got it delivered to us here in Alabama and it leaked oil as soon as they pulled it into the driveway. I ignored it since it wasn't too bad and it's a diesel with 245K miles on it. Then a few days later the engine light comes on. I took it to my normal auto mechanic and he hooked it up to his reader. Injector #7 was having problems. He also said "This is strange and not normal, but someone has deleted the entire error code history from the on-board computer". He figured someone was trying to hide something. We got a flashlight and looked at injector #7 and saw that the oil leak was coming from that injector. When they tried to remove the injector, they couldn't because it was stuck. They also noticed that the truck had a brand new fuel system, except injector #7 had not been changed out. Someone had tried to remove it and couldn't and tried to reseal the O-ring which is pretty much impossible to do. They also discovered that the crank case filter hadn't been cleaned out and was completely stopped up. You normally clean this filter when installing a new fuel system. By not cleaning it out, pressure inside the diesel engine will be a lot lower. When they cleaned it out and finally got the injector out (10 hours later) they test drove it with the new injector, the engine light came on again and the oil leak became worse. They did a pressure test on all the cylinders and found out they were all normal except cylinder #7. They finally discovered that it had a cracked piston and that is what was causing all the problems. By not cleaning the crank case filter out, they were able to hide it temporarily... Plus they deleted the error code history to hide it even better! We found out the best solution was to replace the engine! $15K is the cost for parts and labor on a used engine (150K miles) with a 2 year warranty. $21K for a new Jasper engine. The mechanics even called in their buddy from the local Ford service center to come out and look at it to verify what they found. I got in touch with Steve and informed him of what we found. Basically, he said they couldn't do anything for me and they were sorry to hear I was having trouble. Also, when he pulled it into the driveway during the delivery, there was a sharp screeching noise. This turned out to be a small hole in the turbo exhaust tube. They also advertised that the tires were in great shape. The internal steal belts had separated in two of the tires which makes them wobble when driving down the road. Steve told me they sold the truck with no known issues... You can't tell me that when it had at least three very noticeable issues! Please contact me if you want any more details. But, I'm just sick over needing to come up with another big chunk of cash to get the truck running again...

In my case, it would've meant coming out of pocket just to get out of my car. Camden listed my vehicle on a Sunday and by Tuesday I had an all cash offer - way over what a dealership had offered me. Pretty impressive! As a busy mom and business owner, I'd been wanting to sell my car for months but I didn't have the time to do listings, take good photos, respond to buyers and screen out scammers. Camden took care of that part, which was really great. Camden also helped me find my next vehicle. Because he's so knowledgable about cars and their market value, he'll help you get the most bang for your buck. He'll also set appointments for you with a dealership, which made my purchase even easier. He found the car, called the dealership to inquire about it's options and if there was any wiggle room on price. When it came time to buy, I was in and out of the dealership in under half an hour. (He also told them that I'm extremely busy so they needed to make the transaction as quick and "painless" for me, which they did!) To be honest, due to Camden's age, (he's young) I wasn't sure what to expect. But he's wise beyond his years and a true entrepreneur who undoubtedly knows what he's doing! I also feel like he's honest and straightforward - he charges a flat fee, rather than a commission on the sale of your vehicle which makes his services even more valuable and customer focused! The way I've explained what EXACTLY he does to other people is this: He's essentially a head hunter for car buyers and sellers. He matches potential buyers with the car you're selling, or finds you the best deal on the vehicle you're looking to purchase.
