We booked a 7 AM crater snorkel and turtle town cruise. They have a photographer on site. She took pictures of us from the very beginning. If you want more she'll give you an orange band which signals her to look for you while she's walking around boat and while snorkeling to take your photo. She charges $95 for all the photos, you pay afterwards so you can see the photos. I was no impressed with the quality and so many people in the side of photos that made the photos look terrible she didn't have us move or anything - for example, in one photo it looks like two people are being intimate. We didn't bring our camera since we held out high hopes for her based on the examples she shows. The cruise breakfast was phenomenal. They serve hot breakfast eggs, two types of sausage, pastries, fruit and rolls. Turtle town was our first stop and we only saw about six total turtles, disappointed for the almost two hours we were there. Afterwords they served veggies for a snack. Then we went to crater island you can see a lot further down lots of fish get close to you. The boat has slides which were a lot of fun. The jumps off the boat were also great for adrenaline junkies. After crater they served lunch which was chicken and turkey croissants and pulled pork sandwiches, chips and ice cream. They up-charged us for picking the glass bottom boat and it was only 4 windows in a small area that was glass bottom so not happy about that. However I do feel like the cost was well worth it! You get a 6 hour tour with two meals and snacks!

Michele is a blessing to tourists everywhere! I injured my foot a month ago and she let me try on some sand socks before buying just to ensure they would be exactly what I needed! She added a delightful conversation to our morning and helped get our vacation started on the right (actually left) foot.

We rented snorkel gear. The woman that helped us was very Helpful and Friendly! She gave us tips and eased some nerves. Pricing seems fair and they had fun items for purchase ( sun hats, vintage postcards, flip flops, shirts, dresses and more)

We were devastated to find out that all the excursions were booked months in advance during this time of the season, especially with Covid and most Americans choosing to travel to Hawaii instead of other international vacations. Here we were, in Maui for the first time, but unable to get into any "must eat at restaurants" or get on any "must experience or see excursions" ...until we walked into this local store hidden away in a plaza. George, the gentleman behind the counter, was able to find me some cancellations immediately, which I jumped on and purchased immediately! He then called me up the next several days as new cancellations appeared in the system and thanks to him, my little family of four, were able to do Ziplining, and 3 different snorkeling trips on boats. Thank you, George, for thinking of us and calling us periodically as cancellations appeared. Because of you, our vacation was just what we hoped for!

I have always been…read morecurious about the fruit, it's history, and it's cultivation, and I am very glad that we took this tour. It was an honor to see how this small farm is maintaining the heritage and history after the large corporations have abandoned the islands. The pineapple they grow is absolutely delicious and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about it. Our tour guide was Brian, and he was extremely funny and engaging throughout. We took a short ride from the general store, which is where you check in, up to the farm to see the various stages of growth. We learned how the pineapples are harvested and I have a newfound respect for the amount of work it takes to grow a single pineapple. The highlight for me was learning how to properly cut a pineapple, which I thought would be no easy feat, but once you know how to do it, it is extremely simple. Sampling the pineapple out in the Maui sunshine was the cherry on top. I highly recommend coming to take this tour and if not, at least stopping by the store to purchase some fresh pineapple or other pineapple related products.

As an incentive planner for groups, I am always looking for ideal and unique experiences for…read moreclients. On this last trip, I bought tour passes for me and my family. I usually do nto allow free or comp passes to get a good idea of typical service of a tour or activity, and this was the same. At first arrival, we were greeted by a friendly front desk staff that checked us in. They had some cool merch and some photo op areas while you waited for the guide. They had a makeshift, yet inoperable bar, where you could order some items, however, none were really made fresh or made by hand except their infused water. Everything else was already pre-packed and sold a premium, even above the grocery store premiums, so that was a let down. I wish they had not been promoting it if it was not ready for custom or craft cocktails and pours. It was a big tease. The guide came to get us and was high energy. He took us to the processing area where they clean/package the pineapples. It was unique in its own Hawaiian way, but we only stood in the area of their marketing banners and were told "we need to get moving as there is another group." We saw no packing, no movement or other. We didn't get to really look around and see the cool things within the packaging plant. That was a let down as well. They had a massive facility and we only saw a small portion of it for those who like to geek out with "how it's made" type businesses. We were then rushed on to a rickety shuttle bus and taken to various parts of the field down the street. We did get to see the workers harvest and we got to experience a plantation tasting with some more history. That was a cool experience not many get to do in the field. We made another stop and took more photos and then it was done. The tour itself was maybe an hour with another 10-20mins inside the shuttle just creeping along the uneven, winding dirt tracks in the field. That's expected. Overall it was a good tour, however, the 3-star rating mainly comes from the elements that I remember not being good. First, the price, this was an extremely overpriced tour. This should be more of a $25-$35 price point. I would not pay $90+ for another tour like this, even with the "free" pineapple. I did it for the family, but I would NOT do it for a group. This was not a luxury or elevated experience that was worthy of that price point. Second, the tour guide, although friendly, he was so rushed and kept moving us quickly as to get through the tour as soon as he could. He was not in it, you can tell he was kind of fake, but he was a local as he was trying to teach some words and spoke in native tongues as well. Not a bad guy, but doesn't seem his heart was in it. Third, requesting tips. I can't stand when guides request tips and place signs asking for tips on activities and tours. This is tacky and had a negative impact on my experience. Fourth, not having the bar open to have a true custom experience, but then trying to sell Arizona tea at a premium price with a tip jar just made it more unappealing especially when it was just a tease with taps that didn't work. Fifth, there were other groups there on top of each other. It seems they try and stack groups B2B as some are from online sales, some from DMC, some from private guides, Viator or other avenues like the pairing options. It was obvious they really try to supplement the farm with tours, and the guide stated that. There are not hundreds of people on site at once as they are good about rotating the groups quickly and there's not much else to do, so everyone leaves as soon as they're done, but you get that feeling while on the tour itself. Again, all staff were nice, but not sure who trained them to ask for tips. Seems to be an island thing as most other tours asked for the same...but not much anywhere else in the world. Overall, it was rushed. We didn't get to see the packing process or other parts of the plant as I was hoping for. They need updated signage as some of it just looks old. The guide was in a hurry. These things just weighed more heavily on the shorter and abbreviated experience we had in the field. Based on my experience, I didn't see anyone really buy a pineapple in the 30 mins before and 30 mins after (shopping) the tour. I felt like this was more of a $90+ pineapple with a free tour as an afterthought. I was hoping for more as there are limited options and usually the only tour on the island is the best. This was not the case this time around. I would pass on this unless you just really must see a plantation and having a slice in the field...if not, you're better off just buying the pineapple and grabbing lunch next door. The tour just wasn't unique enough to justify the price. Wear closed toe shoes ideally, crocs are fine. Dress for the weather.

Arrive with good walking shoes, SPF, light sweater and hat (it can get either a little chilly or hot from the direct sunlight), and well hydrated if possible. We were greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable tourguide, Kate from Maryland! She shared with us so many facts about the locally grown produce from herbs, vegetables, fruits, to the friendly worms, to compost and facts about the Farm and the hardworking staff! It was interactive because we got to sniff the herbs, taste the locally grown lettuce, carry a chicken (as seen in the photo with my mom), and even pick the Cherry coffee! After the 2 hour tour, the last hour takes you back to this beautiful seating area in a garden like setting for your 4 course lunch! Each course, the chef comes out and shares details of each course. First course was a Medley of Greens grown on the farm with Tangerine vinaigrette. It was a generous portion for our party of 3 and tried to eat it throughout. There was spiraled carrots and radish with julienned snap peas. Second course was Pan Seared Ono (their proteins are all locally sourced) with Mamaki Tea and Lemongrass Rice with Bok Choy, Collared Greens and Cabbage. Third course was my favorite! I'm usually a big fan of fish but the chicken was so savory and that rub was delish! It was an Organic, Cage Free Chicken with Coffee Cherry Citrus rub with Caramelized Coffee Honey Hash of Carrots, Parsnips, Rutabaga and Celery Root. The spread was a Turmeric and Parsnip puree. Last course of dessert was the O'o Freshly Brewed Coffee with Milk and Simple Syrup with a Dessert Platter of Fresh sliced Pineapple, Tangerine and Apple with Homemade Chocolate Truffles. The meal left us full and nourished! What a wonderful anniversary gift to give my parents. We truly enjoyed it and even made some new friends, both local and visiting.

On the drive on the way home she advised a few newbies to the island where some great places to eat were... they greatly appreciated her ideas! She had the most pleasant demeanor.... :) If you want a fun morning walk, call Hike Maui

I was worried it would be hot, but I was never hot or cold because there's shade and swimming. The hike was pretty challenging due to uneven terrain, mud, loose rocks, and creek crossing but easy in terms of distance and pace. This was the highlight of my trip.

Last full day in Maui, we ended it with a huge bang (aka- road to Hana tour!) with Giuliano as our…read moreguide... Pros- we saw soooooo many turtles (close to 50!), some super cute pigs (they were almost like dogs, fell over to let you pet them!), and even a dog and goat walking down the main road on the way back from Hana! That was surreal... There were also other great stops along the way (lunch, ice cream, chocolate, banana bread, beaches, etc.) my son, aunt, and I all had a blast! My aunt even invited Giuliano to CA to visit her, she loved him (thought he was very friendly and helpful!) Cons- it's pricey, but you do get a private experience, so while it cost a lot, I felt it was worth every penny... it was an amazing day!!!

I brought my parents on their first trip (a dream trip for them) to Maui and I knew a private tour would be perfect for them. From the initial inquiry to the guide himself, everything was seamless. Our guide was amazing and we saw and did everything we planned to do. Can't thank you guys enough for a beautiful and memorable experience. It's been a minute and I wish I could remember everyone's names but everyone I encountered was fantastic so thank you!!

The refillable basket was a great idea as we had enough cheese for almost two baskets of crackers. Lots of tourist come were there for the tour and cheese. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking. Great way to enjoy a relaxing day upcountry.

Our party of 14 prepaid weeks ahead to lock in a time slot. My family loved this place last year…read moreand talked everyone into making the 40-minute drive back. Big mistake. Two days before our tour, half our group had to fly to Oahu for emergency care. I called the farm right away. The phone rang and rang, with no voicemail option. I called over and over again on the day of the tour and still got nothing. When I finally explained things to the manager/owner in person, the response was ice cold. They showed no sympathy and offered no refund, credit or reschedule for 7 tickets we paid for and never used. All we got were excuses: "You should have called 24 hours in advance." We did. You didn't pick up. "We're having phone problems." So your phone problem is somehow our fault? "You should have messaged us on Instagram." Seriously? In a family emergency, nobody's first thought is to DM a goat farm. It somehow got worse. My 3-year-old dropped the truffle they hand out at the end of the tour, right in front of our guide. The guide asked what happened, I told her, and she just stared at me in silence. When I asked if my daughter could have another one, she hesitated and said, "We're not supposed to." Keep in mind this farm was holding onto money for 7 tickets we never used, and it still wouldn't spare a toddler one truffle. Another staff member finally stepped in and gave her one, which proves it was never a rule. It was just penny-pinching. Then there was the cheese. We bought 4 cheese flights and asked to take 2 home. One of the to-go boxes was so carelessly packed it looked like someone gave up halfway (photo attached). The cheese tastes good. Too bad the people selling it don't care about their customers. We had planned to place a large online cheese order. Not anymore. We won't be back, and I'll make a point of telling anyone heading to Maui to spend their time and money somewhere that treats families like people instead of transactions.
