We got there right at 8:00 and the employee let us in and took care of us. He got us fitted for masks and fins. He was very accommodating and gave us suggestions on where to snorkel at. We only snorkeled for about 2 hrs since it was very wavy all over south maui. It would be a good idea to check snorkeling conditions before you rent equipment. It was $50 for four adults for an entire day, which was a little cheaper than average Hawaiian prices. read more

The customer service at boss frogs is top notch; the products are wide, the options are varied, and the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. However, sometimes even the best products let you down. I bought an item on Saturday and one day later had to return it due to a fault. They looked up my purchase, only to find that i bought the last one. They didn't quibble or fight. Instead they questioned, listened, and discussed. Ultimately offering me a better deal than I'd expected. Other rental and retail outlets could learn a lot from these guys. Great service when renting an SUP for the morning. Place was rather busy, one associate behind the desk and they were able to get me out the door and on the water within minutes. When settling the account upon returning the equipment the store manager was super friendly, very helpful with information and made me feel like I was his most important customer of the day. It was really amazing experience. Captain is really friendly and the staff chelsey and the other one both are really helpful. I never swum as I don't know swimming but i know d basic and I freaked out once when we went to molokini crater but she helped me and encouraged me that i m not gonna let u come back until u see all the creatures inside. They served us amazing food and drinks which are included in d package and also gave us delicious cookies. All we missed was they didn't take us to the turtle town as captain said that there is bad weather that side. But when came back from molokini we went over there n it was sunny n amazing weather. We could have seen turtles if they may have took us over there. Besides he show us amazing whales. So i m really glad with this experience and i m definitely gonna book this tour again when i will get back to hawaii read more

They like to tell you conflicting return times (one employee saying to return by the end of the day theyre due, another saying its due 24 hrs from the point you sign for them) and charging you an extra 10 dollars per set if youre a second late. Customer service there is limited to pointing at flyers or a computer and shrugging their shoulders. If you plan on renting for a week it ends up being the same price to just go to the grocery store and buying your own snorkeling set of the same quality. Excellent customer service, selection of products, and prices. Their staff members are so knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. Went to other shops and received horrible customer service. Stopped by Boss Frog's looking for a dive mask. Purchased one, and it didn't work properly once we got in the water (either a manufacturer mishap or perhaps we didn't scrub the first layer off enough? not sure). Came back to show the staff member the issue, and he let us return the mask and purchase a new one. GREAT customer service. He even scrubbed the new one for us and asked us to try it out. We rented dry snorkels from 2463 Kihei Rd location because our snorkel tour company told me that they don't offer dry snorkels and figure we may snorkel on our own afterwards. It was also too late to change snorkel companies as everywhere else we looked was booked. We tried on masks, recieved a brief "how to use" the equipment talk, and bought the equipment back to our airbnb. After trying the mask we rented and repeated leaking we were told that it was probably a bit big so I came back to the store and Michele found me one that was smaller and fit better with no extra charge. I was scared to snorkel after all that water coming in the mask before but she calmed my nerves with a good pep talk. She shared that she is not a good swimmer and still snorkels a lot. She made me feel confident. The next day I was able to snorkel on our Molokini tour no problem! Thank you, Michele!! :) We also learned Boss Frogs runs snorkel tours and will look into them if we ever return to Maui. read more

We are so lucky to meet Rob on our second day in Maui, he is super friendly and helpful to recommend all sorts of activities with great discount! Very rude. We walked in, they told us all trips are cancelled which was fine, and then said tho our face we shouldn't have come to Maui. We have bought from there before and never will again. I encourage all to give your money to a business that doesn't treat their customers like trash. Excellent service renting our weekly snorkel gear! Benjamin really brought it at the Wailea store. We also had amazing service at the Napili store when we popped in very disappointed our excursion to Pan So was cancelled due to a storm and rough seas. The amazing young man called and moved our jet ski excursion and booked us on a diffetent trip to snorkel Lanai. Benjamin really deluvered in Kehei shop when we returned our gear and discovered a psir of fins was left on tbe boat. His Aloha spirit brough tears of relief to my worried 12 year old. Seriously so beyond happy that we wandered into Boss Frogs and talked to my new pal Jeremiah!!! I thought we were going to have our hands full and have to make multiple stops to find everything we needed for our trip but this place is literally a one stop shop!! Not only did we find the snorkel gear we wanted to rent for the week, but also our beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. Also a nice underwater camera to rent that color adjusts so your underwater pictures aren't all just blue! Then, we got an AMAZING deal on a snorkel trip to the crater, AND another killer deal on a zip line tour! He even spent time going over a map he gave us, writing out fun places and helping us get a sense of the island. He really made our trip come together and it was so easy, he was hilarious and beyond helpful. Everyone should come straight here first thing on their trip to Maui! read more

He was very helpful and worked with me to get great activity prices. We spoke several times before finalizing our arrangements and he was always super nice and very helpful. So we used Calypso boat for a trip for snorkeling and scuba diving! Trent the sncuba guy was AWSOME! We had a group of 5. One who gets motion sickness and two who are not good swimmers. He took us by hand to 15 feet below the surface to see all of the cool underwater animals! Had a blast! read more
