I have been here three times so far and each time for one of their milkshakes and they really are as amazing as they say! They are not just pretty, but also delicious and the staff brings them out pretty quick! The staff are also quite on top of things! This restaurant lived up to the reviews that I'd read before. The burgers were so full of flavor and juicy and the garlic Parmesan fries were excellent. I had the Alpine burger with garlic parmesan mushrooms and Swiss cheese with turkey rather beef. It's my assumption that most don't ask for condiments because my burger didn't come with any but it needed a little mayo. Other than that, the burger was great. And the service here was top notch. The manager came bu several times to make sure that we were okay. It was busy but they were also keeping a contact persons list in the case it was needed. I'm not sure which of you people posted the picture of the Mac Attack burger but dammit, once I saw that I knew that Boston Burger Company would be Yelped and Yelped soon. Arriving direct from the airport on a Sunday evening, there were a few seats and I got one at the bar. Great service from the bartender and it was awesome to see into the kitchen area and the prep area where those crazy milkshakes are put together. I stuck to the burger and my Mac Attack was excellent. Supremely messy with two large strips of bacon crossed over the pile of mac and cheese on top of a burger patty that was drippy and delicious. There's no putting this thing down once you start. Yum! Beer was cold and I'm glad they didn't have fries because my heart probably couldn't take it. I skipped the kettle chips and the cole slaw. Furthermore, Yelp added us to the waitlist while we motored across town. Good thing, too. We got in after about 10 minutes. Newcomers were told 90 minutes. Started off with a Boston Burger Company beer. A Pale Ale that was very good. When we were seated, the daughter ordered a Nutella milkshake that was just YUGE. Everyone liked their burgers. My friend and I came here for their freaky frappes and some fries. Everything here is done to the extreme! I've gotten a burger here in the past and could not finish it. The same is true for the fries! We should have shared fries since our shakes were so decadent. Wow wow wow! When you hear you are minutes away from a restaurant shown on the food network it's like the foodie inside you takes over and walks you there. And boy did this place not disappoint. My friend and I tried two of the more well known burgers, The Mac Attack and The King. Both were far from lack luster and more than loved up to the hype! The Mac Attack was decadent and cheesy but not overwhelming. The King was surprisingly fantastic and the real winner of the evening. When you see what's listed peanut butter, bacon, fried banana with cinnamon sugar it sounds crazy and kind of gross. But it all comes together perfectly. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I would go back and eat any of these burgers any day. The shakes are delightful. They are pricey but let's be honest you are ordering them for the picture and they don't disappoint. They are pretty and still tasty. We split one and it was definitely enough to finish off both our means. The sides are a little boring but can't go wrong with eating baked beans in Boston. One problem with this place is it has a long wait. We signed up for the waitlist and still waited thirty minutes longer than the amount of time it said it would. Obviously that's not really there fault but on a Wednesday night you aren't anticipating over an hour wait when it said says only half and hour. When you walk into the restaurant you will see it's small so there's not really a place to wait inside. We chose to wait in the bar a few doors down.thw restaurant is fairly narrow and has limited space so prepare to be a little cramped. Overall I will definitely be going back. We were excited to try this out for a treat as my son loves burgers and shakes. We were disappointed. While I think the idea is a good one, the execution was not great. -They do not have a full liquor license, just beer, minimal wine choices and "cocktails" made from Truely/White Claw products. My husband and I both ordered beers with dinner. The beer was flat, no foam or fizz at all. My husband ended up "exchanging" his beer for Bud Light and the outcome was no different. -We came into the city for an earlier dinner and were seated right away. We left 2 hours to eat before we needed to be somewhere else. We waited a while for our food. We decided to order a shake in the meantime because we were going to have enough time to enjoy it at the end. The shake came quickly and I had no choice but to let my children have dessert before dinner. We had ordered 2 kids meals and 1 burger to split. I could not believe how long it took for this. The restaurant was busy but there was no line or wait at the door. We ended up being late and missing the event we came into the city for! Ugh. -We split the Hot Mess Burger which was fine. I was expecting the burger to differentiate itself in someway and honestly, it didn't. The quality was your standard one you would order at your local pub or restaurant. -Burgers come with chips and a choice of beans or slaw. You have to order fries separately, it didn't seem you could sub chips (even for a little fee). The short: sometimes things are hyped up and don't live up to the hype. The hype is REAL and merited here. The longer: I came with two friends after a work event. The kitchen was open until 11pm, which was awesome for us. Our waitress was unbelievably amazing, sweet and helpful. We shared a few things: 2 giant milkshakes. DAMN. Need a good insta?
