The lighting is a bit dim but comfortable and warm. The food is decently priced $15-30 per person (tastes quite good, too). Patio is shaded with very very light fans. Lots of open seats in the early Saturday afternoon. Servers are extremely friendly! Would recommend.

I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience at Earls. The poke bowl was amazing ! One my favorite ones I've had. I would definitely recommend it. The Cobb salad was also very good, and hearty enough for a meal. The truffle fries were good very cheesy but I loved that it came with an aïoli. Also had the spicy marg and it was very good not very strong.

Grateful for earls as it turned out to be the best meal we had while we were in Boston. It is hard to find a place everyone agrees on but earls has something for everyone. We were greeted with a taste of champagne and seated quickly. The vibe was great and the service was even better. Ela was attentive and had an infectious smile and personality. We ordered pasta, birria tacos, dumplings, steak frites and crispy tuna. The flavors were AMAZING! Wish we had one of these back home in Naples.

Upbeat atmosphere and a nice treat yourself escape from the hustle of Prudential Center - the place for a couple of apps to share and cocktails. It's a nice space with lots of booth and high table options, and even bar and open kitchen seating for solo diners or smaller parties. Some downsides were that the pasta wasn't as hot as we would've liked but still had some flavor. We added protein to the Caesar Salad but was not expecting a $16 surcharge - note that a "half" portion is $8 (only written as 'Chicken' +$8 on the menu) and "full" is $16. We also had the option to choose a Cajun seasoned chicken vs. regular which didn't seem to have an up charge.

Eva's is located inside the Prudential Center and features a beautiful ambiance. We were seated at the indoor patio area with marble tables, plenty of greenery, and clear windows that made the space feel like a classy greenhouse, chic yet relaxed. However, I wish my appreciation for the atmosphere extended to the food and service as well. I visited with a couple of friends, and we ordered the steak + truffle tortellini, steak + sushi (wagyu beef press), and eggs benedict. My steak and truffle tortellini wasn't bad. The steak was cooked well and the tortellini had a nice, soft texture, but the sauce had a very tart flavor that became overwhelming after a few bites. The steak and sushi was also a miss. The sauce was so salty that it drowned out the other flavors. Unfortunately, the service didn't help. We saw our server once when taking our order, and it was difficult to flag anyone down afterward. By the time someone finally came over, we were nearly finished eating, which made it feel a bit pointless. I really wanted to love this place. The setting is gorgeous, but between the uneven food and slow service, it just missed the mark for me. I'd come back for drinks or the vibe, but probably not for a full meal.

    Truffle Tortellini

I think this place is over priced. But it's inside prudential, has good service, so probably that explains the price part. They have complementary drink when we checked in. And they checked on our table several times during our meal. So service is good. But then they automatically added 3% admin fees. Food wise, I got the Truffle Tortellini. I'm disappointed. First of all, I didn't taste anything truffle. The portion is pretty small. Or they just have a big plate. The flavor is good, but nothing impressive. For $27.50, I can get better option somewhere. When we got in around 6:30, it's pretty loud. But then once people left, the noise level is better for conversation.

The service is a bit slow but there is only one person down here serving. I've been waiting for 20 minutes just to pay my bill. The menu is kind of interesting, I ended up having a fish tacos and they were pretty good.

Earls in the mall in Boston really surprised me--in the best way. You don't usually expect a fine dining atmosphere in a mall, but the modern chic décor, cozy booths, and gold embellishments gave it an upscale vibe right away. One note: while I love a good booth, it was a bit odd that large parties (like ours) were squeezed into one. Six work colleagues in a booth made for some cramped dining--probably better suited for smaller groups. That said, the food was impressive and memorable. My spaghetti with shrimp and scallops was spot-on, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals and had only good things to say. But what really stood out was the service. Our waitress was incredible--thoughtful, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and funny. She absolutely elevated the whole experience. Overall, a great night out with delicious food and outstanding service--just maybe request a table instead of a booth if you're rolling deep.

I had a lovely dinner at Earls - my server Juan was superb and very helpful, and I really liked the vibe. My steak biimbap had a nice spicy sauce and was just like I enjoy it at good Korean restaurants. In the Pru it is a nice option.

Had a great dinner with coworkers. The truffle fries and dumplings were both great apps for the table. The dumplings were juicy and lots of tasty things added on top. I enjoyed the coconut mango mocktail - very refreshing for a hot day. For my entree, I got the steak and sushi dish. The steak was ok but I really enjoyed the salmon sushi. It melted in my mouth and was so delicious. The ambience offered a nice high end dining experience without the stuffiness. Special shoutout to Jenna, our server, for the great service.

Earls was a nice break from the mall. I was totally sold by the "rooftop" bar. My mind envisioned something quite different from what we experienced... which was a rooftop bar without a view. Oh well. The one thing when we were seated was that we were told someone would be right with us. Well, right with us meant 20 minutes. By the time she came over, the table across from us grabbed her and placed their order. I had already walked 8 miles that day and was just ready for a drink and a snack; otherwise, I would have left. Once we ordered, the food and drinks came out rather quickly and were delicious. We ordered a bunch of items from the happy hour menu, including tacos, truffled fries, and a burger. My lemon drop was on point, too. I recommend checking this place out.

We were on a spooky girls' trip to Boston/Salem and our first stop was the Prudential Center View Boston. Before, we stopped at Earls for lunch. Two of us decided to have our first clam chowder in Boston as part of a marathon to rate the chowders in each restaurant we ate. They gave it huge reviews but it was their first so nothing to compare it with. I had the Ahi Tuna Tataki which I loved but did not realize it was a small plate. Still, it was filling. We order the chicken lettuce wraps and the cajun blackened chicken. Everything was delicious. Our server Jillian was a delight. She answered are questions, was patient and attentive, checking in on us periodically to make sure we were ok. Our busboy, Butters was the man! Next time I'm in Boston, I'm going to make sure and stop at Earls!

    Deluxe Burger
    Richard M.

The food was honestly mediocre. The burger was bland, the Korean dish was bland, the crispy birria tacos were above average. However, any one who has had authentic Mexican tacos would probably think otherwise. The service was okay for me. Our server appeared a bit on edge when he check on us. I wouldn't blame him because the ambiance is very LOUD. But shout to them for taking off the Korean dish off of our check (they had forgot to cook the egg well done for my wife).

Do you have to be 21 to hangout in the outdoor bar area? Looking to celebrate my 21st here, but not all of my friends are of age yet.

When is weekend brunch happy hour?

Best to check the website for kitchen times. Brunch not specified on either day and no Happy Hour on Saturday. Sunday Happy Hour menu is 9:00 PM to close.

Are jackets required for gentlemen and at the other end of the spectrum are shorts allowed?

I sat at the upstairs bar, but the restaurant appeared casual to me. Some men wore jackets but they didn't seem to be required. I didn't see anyone wearing shorts there, but I was in jeans at the inside bar area--so causal dress should be acceptable.

Tried to make a reservation for Friday dinner through their website but there is no table available for reservation. Do they preserve some tables for walk-in customers?

Seating is first come first serve. If you come later - maybe 8:30 - the wait should not be long.

What time does the kitchen close on weekends?

    full menu up to 2am

Does it accept discover credit card?

Yes, I believe I used mine there

Is this a cool/fun ambience to turn 21 at the bar?

Absolutely! It's a really fun, modern place and usually has a pretty energetic vibe. Have fun!

Hi there, I may have lost my wallet last night, and when I tried calling the restaurant, I was left on hold for 15+ minutes with no answer. Is there a better number to call?

No. Suggest you call just before they open. The place is a real zoo (as you know). Otherwise, good to go back.

Could a group of 12-15 gather here just for drinks (before an event) Sat 6-7p, or would we have to eat?

In advance, I stopped into the hotel to confirm that a gluten-free guest could be accommodated and was assured this would be handled. In reality, the accommodation was inadequate and, at times, unacceptable. While the rest of us were served scones, my stepdaughter was given cut fruit in their place, and told that was all they had to accommodate. The dessert course consisted of what appeared to be basic gluten-free cookies, misrepresented as something more gourmet - egg nog cookies??? This lack of preparation was both disappointing, upsetting and avoidable. The broader experience was equally concerning. We were subjected to an unsolicited and uncomfortable "lesson" on tea service, which detracted from what should have been a relaxed and celebratory occasion. While trying to enjoy the time with the girls, being a lifelong tea drinker and someone who has been to many times at your establishment and its various incarnations, this is something I have never experienced. The food quality was poor (scones were clearly reheated and stuck to the cloth napkin they were wrapped in), and there were notable service lapses, including being served water in a visibly shattered glass. Additionally, when hot water was added to refresh the tea, my stepdaughter's pot curdled and had to be replaced. It was especially disappointing, as I mentioned that I had stopped in and spoken with the concierge, and was assured, as they had called the kitchen while I stood there that they readily accommodated gluten-free. There are numerous places in the city that could have done this, and if you had just told me that you could not do so, I would have booked us elsewhere. I chose not to raise the multiple issues in the moment so as not to disrupt what was meant to be a special day for the girls and me. However, the total cost exceeded $500, and the experience did not come close to justifying that price point! Do not recommend.

oh. em. gee. best pasta i've ever had in my life…read more i was looking online for an italian restaurant and this came up multiple times. first off, the interior is gorgeous, plush green seats and antique style. we ordered their special items of the night: lobster risotto and the vodka veal. genuinely the best risotto i've ever had. the people online were not lying when they said their vodka rigatoni was the best. it was indeed very very delicious. even though all of us were full from the pasta, we still had to get tiramisu. it was a perfect way to end the meal. our server was great and attentive, thank you for a wonderful meal.

My guess is that this is more of an evening destination where people come for cocktails and the atmosphere rather than lunch. We ordered a Diet Coke, the Scampi appetizer, Carbonara, and the Rigatoni Alla Vodka. The scampi was easily the best part of the meal. It was flavorful, cooked well, and made for a nice appetizer to start things off. Unfortunately, the pastas didn't quite meet expectations, especially considering the price. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was $28, but the pasta wasn't cooked al dente and felt overdone. The Carbonara, also $28, was disappointing as the eggs had curdled and the dish ended up being much oilier than I expected. At $18, the scampi was enjoyable, but overall I don't think the food justified the price point. One bright spot was the service. Our waitress was incredibly kind, checked in on us frequently, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a very aesthetic design. I can definitely see why it's popular on social media. There is also outdoor seating, which I imagine would be a nice option on a warm summer evening. One thing I did notice, though, is how closely the tables are spaced together. Since the restaurant was mostly empty during our visit it wasn't an issue, but I could see it feeling crowded and fairly loud once the dining room fills up. I was honestly surprised by the meal because Gigi is part of the Mazi Restaurant Group, and I've really enjoyed some of their other concepts, especially Kava Neo-Taverna. Based on this experience, though, I think there are plenty of Italian restaurants in Boston that offer better food and better value for the same price. Overall, I'd give Gigi 3/5 stars. The service and atmosphere were both strong, but the food didn't live up to the pricing. If I came back, it would probably be for drinks, appetizers, and the ambiance rather than a full Italian dinner.

You have to enter the building with a small fox picture, go down a set of stairs and check in at the counter of said restaurant before they lead you into the back where the speakeasy is. The menu is "set" in that they have a particular cuisine focus for the night and the four food dishes are predetermined as well as the first drink. That being said, you get to order three more drinks from their cocktail menu that range from lighter to more spirit forward, ending with more dessert type cocktails. All the drink flavors were so unique and a fun twist. The food was actually very substantial. Good flavors as well. Our favorite dishes were the lamb cigars (large egg roll shape with eggplant and spices) and the whole branzino. Everything was good though. Service was a very friendly and they were open about the fact that if you didn't like a drink they'd make you another one.

She was great! Really enjoyed talking with her and she had great drinks recommendations. The food was delicious and very unique which was refreshing. Its a 2 hour experience with 4 drinks, 3 food courses and a dessert. You definitely wont be hungry after. Highly recommend for a date night.
