I have eaten several kinds of pizza, sandwiches, and wings from here and they are really good. The very best, though, is the buffalo chicken pizza. My co-workers and I ordered one for lunch today, and we can't stop raving about how good it is! The chicken is just the right amount of spiciness, there is lots of cheese, and the blue cheese is under the regular cheese along with the chicken. AH-MAZZZZING!!!!!!!! Best pizza in Boston (so far). Venue is a typical pizzeria-type. No nonsense, sufficient - though not necessarily comfortable - seating, and quick turn around. Located downtown between Chinatown and the Theater District and open until midnight, patrons range between Tufts Medical Center employees and young'ns fixing for some food after a night out (or before an all-nighter). Service is pleasant. Staff are nice, and my food was ready quickly. Now for the food. I ordered a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni (picture uploaded). The slices are NY-style and relatively large, so 2 should be more than enough to satisfy the average person. They were generous with the cheese, and despite this, the cheese did not fall off when I folded my slice in half. The sauce was good, but I prefer my pizza to have just a bit more of it. The oil dripped appropriately, and if anything, the pizza was less oily than most. The dough was good, but would benefit from being a bit crispier. The main downside is that relative to the price, the slices are small. Overall, however, the pizza here is solid, and did the trick for satisfying my cravings for pizza from home. Back in college, one of my favorite memories was late night study sessions in the lounge and ordering a greasy, cheesy pizza from our favorite local spot. It gives me the warm, nostalgic fuzzies to know I can do it again with this place! A slice of pizza is $2-3 and a whole 16" pizza is ~$20. I think the most common orders include cheese, pepperoni, sausage or a combination of the three. If I could make a suggestion, I'd recommend trying one of the unique pizzas they have on the menu, like their chicken pesto, which comes with freshly made pesto sauce, roasted peppers, sliced tomatoes and chicken chunks. Or their Fenway (sausage, onions, peppers, mozzarella and Romano!) I know crust is, in a lot of cases, a make or break factor for people so let me tell you, for a greasy pizza joint, this place does it right. There's a nice solid crunch that leads into a fluffy interior, like good sourdough. The staff really hustles and are fairly polite. If you're in the Financial District and you're coming home on a Friday night but you're looking for a quick bite that'll top your crazy night off the right way, think of this place. read more

Not bad at all... but then again, it's hard to mess up pizza. You can get a HUGE slice for a little over 3 bones. It's a little greasy, but you can always dab it with a couple of napkins! Right across the street from Tufts Medical Center, Boston Kitchen Pizza is basically a staple in my diet. The pizza is reminiscence of a New York style slice. The crust has a nice spring to it and slices come out fast and hot. Most surprisingly, it's not really the pizza that makes this place great but rather the cookies. This place has amazing cookies. I like the oatmeal raisin with white chocolate cookies. Additionally, they have chicken fingers that bread well on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, I cannot really comment on the value of the food since we have it catered at the school but I am definitely a fan and will probably continue eating it for the foreseeable future. read more

I don't even like pizza that much, but this place has me craving pizza almost all the time like a maniac. The dough in their pizza is not as thick as I normally like it, but there's a really nice chew to it that puts the slightest spring into my bite. It's utterly delightful. My pie of choice: buffalo chicken. It just tastes so perfect and there are wonderful pockets of blue cheese baked into it... I don't even like blue cheese that much but it works so well here. I stopped in here for a slice of veggie pizza for the first time the other night and all I have to say is wow! This was a huge slice of pizza with tons of fresh veggies & cheese on top! I think it weighed almost a pound. The bottom of the crust was a little soggy -probably because there were so many veggies on it (this is the only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5). I stopped in again later in the week for lunch, and got a slice of veggie/ricotta pizza, and again - wow! This was even tastier than the veggie pizza I had. Maybe because this pizza was out of the oven for a bit, and the flavors had time to meld together. Overall, this is a great place for an inexpensive meal that really fills you up. I have walked by here a bunch of times & never really thought much about it, but it actually makes sense to stop in. Thankfully this place has pizza that is better than most around town. We get food catered on a monthly basis & they can always accommodate our large orders which is great although their delivery area is small. I'm going to do the opposite of what I usually do and start this review with my comments on accessibility. This place is not accessible at all. The only reason I was able to get in was because I had a friend with me who was able to get me up and down the step to get in and out. So if you're disabled and traveling alone, you probably won't be able to eat here. That said, though, after visiting a friend in Tufts Medical Center down the street, this way a nice place to get a quick, easy, and economical dinner. I kind of wish I had gotten something I can't get easily where I live, like I usually do when I have the opportunity, and had tried something like the shwarma or the falafel. But I was tired and wanted something familiar, so I got a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It was good. My friend enjoyed a couple slices of buffalo chicken pizza. I had a piece of the peanut butter cookie she got for dessert and that was really good, too. I understand they make them right there. If there's a bathroom in this place, it's probably only for staff. I don't remember seeing any sign of one. The staff is maybe a little on the surly side but I think that's par for the course in Boston for places like this. Overall, this was a good experience. I'd go again if I was in the area. read more
