Before starting, Rhea carefully assessed my skin and gave me honest recommendations about what my skin needed--and what it didn't. I really appreciated her personalized approach. The chemical peel was temporarily uncomfortable, but it was absolutely worth it. I've already been getting compliments on how great my skin looks! The recovery took about three days. During that time, it was important to stay out of the sun and keep my skin well-moisturized with Aquaphor. As I applied the Aquaphor, my skin gradually began to peel, the peeling was happening a lot faster on day 3. If you're considering a chemical peel, I recommend planning your schedule around the recovery period and following the aftercare instructions closely, since your skin will be very delicate. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Rhea.

It is a lovely facility, but the economics simply no longer align.

I saw this laser place was advertising a free first session so I booked with low expectations. I saw that it was a beautiful little shop so I thought, what could go wrong? Everything else. I made an appointment after struggling with their website to make a payment. Then, I was able to fit an appointment into my busy day. Not even 24 hours before my appointment, SEV messages me that there was an issue with my appointment and that they needed to reschedule me. None of the time slots they offered would work. I work 12 hour night shifts that end at 7am so when they proposed 1010, I made an exception and said that I would stay awake to make the appointment. No confirmation. It's extremely unprofessional to not only cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, which is against their policy, but to also offer an appointment time right when they open and to not confirm it before closing for the day. I stayed in the downtown area after my shift for 3 hours to wait for this appointment after being given the impression that the appointment time would be saved for me but they informed me that they would not be able to accommodate me until 6pm. I was exhausted and flabbergasted. When I asked if they could do anything to make the situation better, they just told me that I should make an appointment for another day. No coupon for compensation, nothing. The place is in a very inconvenient area, located right next to petco park with no good parking and I definitely did not feel safe walking around by myself. So I will not be returning again to be met with inconsistency and subpar service. After reading the other reviews, this is not an isolated situation. It is a pattern. Do not trust a business like this with your body. Laser treatments are expensive but there is a reason why.

As a technician, even if my nail was thin she could of used a machine to remove the gel instead of tearing it off the way she did. I was so upset! She tried to tell me she would add a piece, which I declined so I just told her to cut what she could without leaving my nail too short. I will never return here. Maybe some folks like this method of removal but I did not and will not be returning for a pedicure. I will add the chairs were comfortable and I also got a gel manicure which he added so many layers too! There was one lady too that came by and was just talking to the technician who did my nails and the vibe just felt uncomfortable! I will never return!

If this is how repeat customers are treated over the phone it's clear long term business isn't a priority. They've lost a customer and I won't be recommending this place to anyone.

When my nail technician completed my manicure, she announced, "same!" as if she declared out-loud my powdered pearlescent nails are now magically transformed into the requested nude chrome color. I wish they would've told me upfront that this cannot be done. I would not request for anything out of the basic mani pedi here.
