I recently visited BOTTAIA Winery for the second time. My first time had been almost six years ago. We were taking my friend for a wine-tasting week-end for her birthday, and I remembered that it was a really beautiful place. So, we decided to begin the day there. BOTTAIA offers poolside seating for $40 per chaise. We considered spending the afternoon poolside and ordering wine throughout the afternoon, but instead, opted for the outdoor patio seating so that we could move on and check out other wineries later in the day. We arrived just prior to 11AM when the winery opens, and we were the first group to check in. For non-wine club members, we could not make reservations, but it wasn't crowded at all that day. We were seated readily on the patio. On our way to be seated, we walked through the gift shop which was really cute. We enjoyed our seating as it had a nice view of the hills and the vineyards. We studied the menu for a bit and finally decided on the dry sparkling rose'. It was very nice. I do think it would have been nicer to have a server rather than having to walk up to the bar to order. It is a fancy place so that would have been a nice touch. We found out that they do serve light food items on that patio and more lunch options in the small cafe below. All in all, I really enjoyed the views and the wine at BOTTAIA.

Scrolling through IG and I came across Bottaia Winery. They have a pool you can use Wed-Sun 11:00am-6pm for $40.00 I made my reservation online or you can call. Upon arriving I immediately notice how nice and beautiful the surrounding space is. I checked in with hostess and walked to the chaise lounge chair. They provided me with 2 towels, iced water & menu. My host Quincy introduced himself and took my order. I ordered the kids chicken tenders and fries. My food didn't take that long to come out. My chicken tenders & fries were delicious. My host Quincy checked on me periodically to see if I needed anything and if he saw my water needed a refill he would immediately take care of that. Quincy is truly a gem and an asset to Bottaia Winery. The temperature of the pool water was perfect. My overall day was perfect. When I returned home I noticed I must've left my bathing suit either in the women's bathroom or on my lounge chair. I called the hostess at the pool and they found my bathing suit and put in the lost & found. Thank goodness they didn't throw my brand new bathing suit in the trash. I'll definitely be back and enjoy a peaceful day poolside.

A beautiful tasting room to relax and enjoy wine. The vineyard views are absolutely stunning! and the outdoor patio creates such a peaceful, inviting atmosphere. My husband and I each got our own wine flights and had the best time relaxing outside. The Terrace Board? Absolutely delicious!!! and perfect to share 10/10. Also, service was super friendly and welcoming every step of the way. Long story short, wine was good and the overall experience really stands out. I'd gladly come back to enjoy the setting and vibe again.

Alayna was such an amazing server, I asked what she could recommend on certain wines and she gave me her honest recommendation, I loved it. The whole experience was amazing and she really is an amazing person

First time here and I would say this winery is very modern. I think it was very beautiful and clean. It gives really good vacation vibes and views. They have good indoor seating and outdoor seating and even a pool and cabana which is discounted for members. They have a really good sparkling rose that was bomb!! Was def my favorite The service was decent could have been more attentive but it was pretty busy. I feel they need more food options and play better music for good atmosphere. I would say try here if you're coming to Temecula!

What happened?! I was really looking forward to summer so I could visit my "favorite" winery, but I'm incredibly disappointed. It seems inflation has hit everyone, but this was a shock--last year, upgrading to a cabin was $50, and this year it's $100! I would love to know whose bright idea it was to raise the price this high. Are they suffering from a lack of memberships and trying to make up for it this way? I drove over 48 miles for this, and an updated email beforehand would have been lovely. On a positive note, the customer service remains phenomenal. I was happy to see Quincy again--he's an absolute joy and provides such helpful, kind, and exceptional service. Honestly, that was the only good thing about my visit. I even asked if they were under new management because, once I paid to get in, everything seemed to go downhill. While the drinks were good, the food was not. They brought out 12 chips with about a tablespoon of guacamole and salsa--I actually asked if they had dropped the chips on the way over! It's wild that the food prices stayed the same as last year, but the quality has plummeted. I can't believe the excessive price hike just to sit by a pool with absolutely no perks. Paying $100 just to sit poolside and use a cabin to change into my swimsuit is not worth it. Last summer, I was a regular and came out at least six times, even bringing my coworkers I already told them not to bother. After today, I won't be back, so those extra visits I usually make definitely won't be happening. The quality has gone down they need the old manager back because whoever is running this place now needs some serious help. I wouldn't dare recommend this place to anyone now; between the cost and the quality, I cannot! Back to the winery up the road :)

This place has a fun fresh feel, a white building against the green rows of vines. Our visit was on a very warm day, so once you enter the AC feels amazing. The staff was very friendly right from the start, given us options of either the barrel room, main room with spectacular views or the patio overlooking the pool. (Pool only open seasonal for any visitors). We did a wine flight $32 a bit pricy but overall good experience. Had a very relaxing time there and enjoy the music.

In our search for a new winery to join, we decided to check out BOTTAIA Winery this afternoon. The winery is beautiful, with a laidback, step up from causal vibe. There was a good saxophonist performing, and plenty of people eating on one side of the outdoor area, while the in the other section (where we were seated) people seemed to mostly be having wine. We walked up to the bar and informed the server that we were there for a tasting, and that it was our first time there. Typically, at other wineries, when we tell them that it is our first time visiting their winery, they are very welcoming, and are happy to tell us about the wines they offer. This lady only commented on what a nice day it was, and when we told her we were not familiar with the wines on the list, she told us that they only offer Italian wines. She never asked what types of wines we enjoy, or made any suggestions. When we asked about any particular wines, her response was "that one's really good", but gave no description, comparison, or anything that would make us want to try them. She gave us no information on the benefits of a membership either. We left here disappointed and underwhelmed.

Beautiful venue. We reserved seats for $40 each a week or two beforehand to save spaces. When we arrived, they had a walk in special that came up to $27! The walk in special included lounge chairs, two glasses of sangria and a wristband to access a private changing room. We were served by Quincy, such a cool guy, very nice and helpful. We ordered the chicken nachos which were tasty but the chips were thin, they weren't very crunchy. We also ordered a side of fries and a burger that came with fries. The burger was cool, I wish it had more pickles and a sauce maybe. The sangria was light and refreshing. We then ordered the bottaia pecorino white and the angry wife white. The pecorino had a lightly sweet after taste but was good. The angry wife white wine was light, not much flavor profile. The weather was perfect, the pool was fullll! Kids, families, friends etc. It is 5ft and it felt like we were at a backyard pool party.

I love love love this winery! It's beautiful! I've been wanting to do wine blending here and it was perfect for my birthday! Lucky us! It was a private experience! It was just us two and our wine connoisseur! It was so much fun and best of all... You get to bottle your wine and take it home after you blend one you like. We also given a private tour of the winery and we got to sit in the members-only section. We are not members so this was a treat! The view in this section is just breathtaking! Our wine connoisseur gave me free bubbly for my birthday. Service here is phenomenal! We will definitely return and I highly recommend the wine blending. Their wine is delicious!!!

This was my first time here, and went with a group of five others (one of whom is a member there). We were taken outside to the massive patio overlooking the vineyard. There were so many tables and comfortable couches; the perfect setting for a nice wine tasting. Bernadette was our hostess for the tasting, and she was wonderful! You can either buy wines by the glass, or you can custom- build your fight of four tastings. I chose the flight, and Bernadette was able to describe all of the wines on the menu so I could put together the perfect tasting for my palette. They offer items you can snack on with your wine. We got a charcuterie plate and hummus; both were perfect! Their specialty is Italian varietals, so if you want a comfortable place to sip on some, this is your place! NOTE: They also have a POOL onsite, which would make for a fantastic summer tasting excursion!

This was my first time at this winery and I was not disappointed at all! My friend is a member of the winery so we were seated in the outdoor member lounge area and enjoyed a beautiful view of the winery itself. The weather was gorgeous, sun was shining, there was a nice breeze also. Our server was Antonio and he was very helpful going through the wine list with me and helping me choose flavors he thought I'd like the most since I don't ever drink wine. He also helped suggest some bites so we went with the chicken salad and Italian deli meat mini sandwiches along with the charcuterie plate. Antonio was very attentive and checked on us often. The food came out pretty quickly, our favorite was the chicken salad sandwich and I would say which wine was my favorite from the tasting if I could remember the name lol but I cannot all I remember is it was white, chilled and sweet! The whole experience was amazing and I highly recommend trying this place out!

Best known for their white wines! A must try

Ask the Community - BOTTAIA Winery

Are dogs allowed outside on patio?

I have never seen dogs or children on Bottaia's patio.

Are there meals at the outdoor terrace or just snack foods?

Just charcuterie boards (which are delicious) but if you want a meal and cocktails, make a reservation at the pool. I usually make 2 reservations. 1 for lunch at the pool and 1 for the tasting. You will LOVE this place!

Hi! I wanted to know if you play music at the pool? If so typically what kind of music?

You can , variety soca, reggae, country, house

Are the cabines air conditioned? Is there wifi?

Kids are allowed just not in the tasting room correct?

Or the bar area outside. NOT KID FRIENDLY

What is the price for wine tasting on a Sunday?

Traditional Barrel Room wine tasting is $25, Food & Wine pairing (choice from three different personal charcuterie boards) $50 or the wine blending lab experience for $80 (I think). All prices per person.

    Is the pool heated?

Hello! Our pool is heated year round and maintained at about 80-82°. Please let us know if there are any other questions we can help answer. Hope to see you soon at BOTTAIA!

My Wife and I are appalled over what happened. To the Business Owner, Cane V., you need to train your employees, the faces of YOUR everyday business, to be more EMOTIONALLY INTUITIVE and PROFESSIONAL and have GENERAL MATURITY. Where do I start? If you are looking for a winery that has an unprofessional, rowdy brewery atmosphere that attracts Entitled Stank Faced Boomer Temecula Wine Moms and their Snobby Little Cliques LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Our Experience: my Wife and I came over to sample some wines from this winery that was recommended from a friend. On the Winery Website, you can do 2 different types of wine tastings: Classic Tastings of 6 wines of your choice or a Private Wine Tasting of 8 different ones for a higher price. This is what initially attracted my Wife and I to this winery in the first place (big mistake on our end). Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that wine tasting is no longer being offered at all. The incompetent red haired bartender at the front entrance provided us with no other alternative other than "Yea we don't offer that anymore, you can do by the glass or by the bottle." Her tone changed completely when I asked her about the Club they advertise everywhere. She then tells us that they are booked for the day, however the BAR and LAWN area are open seating, after 8PM everything is open seating. It was 6:30/7PM so we decided by that point, we'll wait for a spot to open up and enjoy some wine then in the meantime. We figured, it's just the 2 of us so we should have luck finding a spot. At the bar area, I noticed that 3 seats were left unattended. The people there got up and left, no drinks were left behind or any "Reservation" placards were placed to notify people. I walk over, sit down and wave to my Wife to come and sit at the bar area. We sat down, sipped some of our wine for 10-15 minutes. Bar had 2 people working, a gentleman and heavier set Blonde lady. Both of them never said anything and nothing was ever exchanged between us and the heavier set Blond lady. I was even thinking about buying a beer or cocktail and thankfully I didn't. Shortly after this time, an EXTREMELY RUDE, ENTITLED, and VISIBLY DRUNK lady and her husband RUDLY went in between my Wife and I and COMMANDED we leave her spots. My Wife and I laughed at her and were genuinely confused because the BAR IS OPEN SEATING, THERE ARE NO RESERVATIONS FOR OPEN SEATING. She then gets even more angry and DEMANDS we leave or else, says to my Wife and I "YOU're GOING TO LEAVE NOW," I tell the lady to kick rocks, it's open seating then she enters the bar area to talk to the heavier set Blond bar tender that we wont move. The Blond bar tender THEN has the AUDACITY to tell us "They have been sitting here all night, YOU TWO need to leave immediately." My Wife and I look at each other and absolutely laugh it off at the sheer absurdity of everyone's tone towards us. Who do you think you are to blatantly kick us out ON OPEN SEATING? Either you are severely undertrained from the Owner or you as a staff member play favorites with other entitled customers. Both of which are absolutely absurd. Upon this interaction, my Wife and I leave and go right down the street to Europa Winery and sampled several wines and had a $250 dinner at Bolero. Here, the experience was a complete 180° and we should've never wasted our time at Miramonte Winery being subjected to the nastiness from the Temecula Trash. If you are a large party, or wanting to host private events, I STRONGLY recommend ANYWHERE else besides Miramonte Winery. The Staff here is atrocious, rude, immature and ugly. I pride myself in never leaving nasty reviews but this experience changed everything moving forward.

All three wines tasted fabulous: Cabernet, Petite Syrah and Doppietta which tasted of blueberry tart, blackberries and ripen plum...just exquisite. A Fromagé charcuterie sans meats was the perfect pairing for the wine flight and more than enough to share all to myself :) After a leisurely lovely lunch, I strolled around the garden and up the elevated deck to see the rows vineyards, so breathtaking, literally because the uphill stroll made me breathless especially during the heatwave. After my lunch and stroll I had to return to my meetings so my visit at Ponte was very brief but I had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the ambiance. Last time I was here was probably 12 years ago, and WOW has this place changed. It's basically the Disneyland of wineries now! There's a mimosa station when you arrive, wine tastings in the main building, cabana-style seating on the lawn, and tables and chairs almost everywhere you look. They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours. You can also just grab a glass or bottle of wine, and they even have beers on tap! You can get married here, host an event, grab food, spend the day wine tasting, or just hang out and enjoy the property. It's seriously such a happening place and we can't wait to come back!

Our tour guide was phenomenal and provided us with history about the vineyards, the new ways they are working on becoming more eco-friendly, and how they work WITH nature to create a more sustainable growing environment and better conditions for the next generation of wine making. The wines were excellent, and all of the staff as well as the resident golden retriever were the best! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful Resort, Disappointing Front Desk Experience…read more The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, comfortable villas, and a great restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful stay. After we had already checked in and paid the required incidental deposit, we were unexpectedly told to pay an additional deposit. When I questioned this, the Front Desk Supervisor, Michael, told us that if we did not pay immediately, our reservation would be canceled, despite the fact that our stay had already been paid for. What was even more disappointing was the way we were treated. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude, with repeated references to "hotel policy" rather than any genuine effort to help. This happened on my husband's birthday, and it completely ruined the beginning of our celebration. The property deserves five stars, but the customer service we received at the front desk was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no guest should be treated this way.

Stayed in a room in the Tower, and probably would have preferred one in the Villas for an additional cost. The room was a corner unit and larger than I expected with a view of the vineyard. The amenities were decent with a Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, desk area, loveseat and king bed. Would have been nice to have a robe. Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. They do have room service, plenty of parking, on-site spa (did not try), and a wine tasting room (did not try) near the restaurant ... separated from the hotel. The decor in the lobby area is a little dated, but neat and clean -- front desk staff were very friendly.
