Here's what we ordered: ~Just take the ferry- Hudson bourbon, Contratto bitter, amaro montenegro, martelletti sweet vermouth ~Not for sale- zaya reserva rum, Orange juice, agave, lemon, sparkling rose. A yummy, fruity cocktail! ~Grandmas meatballs-homemade beef meatballs with tomato sauce; You know we had to get that parmesan piled on!! ~Burrata with prosciutto de Parma-You can already tell I'm obsessed with burrata by now. I loved smearing it on the fresh bread ~NY strip medium rare with fries and garlic mushrooms; The steak was so juicy, had wonderful grill marks, and was cooked to perfection. Also, those were some of the best fries I have EVER had. ~Carbonera with shrimp-spaghetti pasta with guanciale, eggs, black pepper and pecorino; It was so rich and cheesy!! ~Cannoli ~Coccole con Nutella-one of the best desserts I've had! Bite-sized pieces of fried dough covered in chocolate, powdered sugar, and fresh strawberries; IT IS A MUST ORDER!! Thank you to Botte Brooklyn this extraordinary meal. Worse take out EVER tonight. Ordered their fungi (mushroom) pizza with trifle oil. Asked for additional San Marzano tomatoes. Also ordered the tri-color salad with balsamic on the side. $42.00 for a 10" pie and a dried out tasteless salad? The cheese was cold and almost solid. Those tomatoes were standard store bought & mealy. NOTHING San Marzano about them. Was a regular customer under the old owners. I won't be back. Not sure why anyone would spend their $$ there with so many great restaurants nearby. read more

I'm sorry, but I am not as impressed with this spot as the rest of you. I made a trip to Botte with the highest of hope's, and I was disappointed. The space is not particularly beautiful, and the location is not great. I planted myself at the bar and had some dinner. The bar is covered with white tile, and the stool's are uncomfortable. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a glass of the Super Tuscan. The wines were tasty, but the pour was stingy. I ordered the special Nero Gnocchi with Seafood. The Nero Gnocchi did not work, but the seafood was tasty. I very much appreciated the complimentary bread basket, but the bread was not very good. There are lot's of other options in downtown Brooklyn, and I will continue to explore them. read more

Decent food, but the server we had was too attentive. I swear he came over every 5 mins -- which isn't so great, when you're catching up with your friends and getting constantly interrupted for literally no reason. Great wine, good food and glad they are so close to home. read more

Stopped by for the very first time this past Friday and boy did they not disappoint! I had eaten previously at the location in Astoria, but this one is bigger and the food is just as delicious. Really surprised this place has so many stars. To start, there was no air conditioning on an 80 degree day. The waiter described the specials as having broccoli when really it was broccoli rabe; while they do share part of their name, the tastes are quite different. Everything was underwhelming, starting with the stale bread and oil, the pesto fettuccini, and the rolled chicken special. Unfortunately, not a repeater for us. read more

Friendly bartenders, great happy hour menu. Had the bruschetta (fig and ricotta, yum) and the meatballs. The meatballs were delish. I've had my share of meatballs and this one was up there. Solid place with a good bar happy hour. Drinks at the bar are cheaper than at the tables but you can grab a drink there and take it to your seat. We had a salad, pizza, and pasta. The carbonara was ok, but the pizza and salad were both really good. My partners had the meatballs before I arrived and they liked them. Okay so boom! Some friends and I pulled up here for RW dinner, and let me tell you they have customers for life. As soon as we entered the manager was so kind, greeted us took us to our table and checked in on us all night ! We were promptly attended to, our server was a pleasure and even suggested the Rose sangria to me once i explained what i wanted to drink. We had the bruschetta, calamari and rice balls to begin, all excellent. Bruschetta was the fave and then for entree, chicken parm, fettuccine with pesto and shrimp and the salmon. The fettuccine was life changing and will sit on my heart FOREVA you hear me. Dessert were also delicious, tiramisu, cannoli and chocolate lava cake. Nick was my server. Excellent taste in wine, was able to give me a suggestion for a bottle to take home and wasn't overbearing when it came time to check on me. Went to Botte Brooklyn on Saturday at 1:00 pm. As my friend and I were leaving he asked for a menu to take home with him. The host gave him the regular menu (from which we had ordered) and also a weekend brunch menu. Our waiter never told or showed us that there was a brunch menu at all! Inexcusable and lazy. read more
