The service was okay they had one person doing everything taking orders and drinks etc . Not a lot of seating bar style ambiance with background music playing alternative rock a small corner with an old computer to play Nintendo on , a pool table , Dart and some cards games . The poutine fries were drenched in sauce weren't so great . The wings were well done and oh soooo good ...wish their ranch wasn't so watery the fries were also very good and crispy . The ambience

Ass Clown blonde ale

In town for work so of course had to try the local brew pub! Decent selection of beers. Had the Ass Clown, had to just because of the name. Nice blonde beer very tasty. Had the Famous Southern Dog. Chili dog with Cole slaw on top. Don't know what brand of hot dogs they use, but damn was it good! Had a side of poutine fries, droooool. So good. I'll definitely hit this place up again before leaving town!

Good wings. Didn't get the full order thou on half off night.

Came here on a recommendation for their wings. It also happen to be half off wing night. This was my 1st time so I asked the bartender for recommendations. I asked how many wings come with the wing basket. She told me 10 and that I could split the order in 1/2 for sauces which was great! I got half sauced in buffalo (breaded) and the other half with Thai Chili. When the food came out I noticed a small handful of wings. I counted 7. I called the bartender over and mentioned that I only got 7 out of the 10 she told me. She seemed confused about the whole thing but said that they probably didn't give the the full order of 10 due to being wing night. That seems odd, it almost like bait and switch. So they give you half off the price of wings but then you also get 2/3 of an order of wings?!?!? Nah....... Pass. That seemed sketchy. I went ahead and ordered some fries to go with the meal. The wings were sauced great and were cooked great but in a town full of breweries looking for business I will go elsewhere for wings if I'm going to get jipped on my order. Service was ok. I can tell that the regulars get attended more than the other patrons. That's fine but my drink sat empty for a bit. Just saying. ‍

Wow! We can't believe we have never been here before. Absolutely delicious food, great service, and super cozy bar atmosphere. There is outdoor seating as well. Dog friendly! Little dog bed and water bowl outside. There were some regulars at the bar that seemed to be chatting with the owner. Seem like really down to earth people! Couldn't recommend more!

Found myself in Cary this weekend to celebrate my brothers birthday and stopped by here for the dog friendly feature. Wasn't very busy when we went, around 12 pm on a Saturday. Our waitress was nice and very attentive. Not pictured is the fried jalapeño bites and fried ravioli the table got to split for appetizers. I enjoyed the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, which was delicious and very filling. The fries here are also pretty good! I had a cherry cider to drink and the waitress was very helpful in making that selection for me. All around a decent experience and my whole party enjoyed their time and meal.

I met a friend here for a Carolina Hurricanes game. They have outdoor (covered) patio seating with TVs, plus tables inside and seats at the bar. There are several large televisions around the space and it didn't appear the employees had any issue turning to specific channels when asked. They had probably 15 beers to choose from on draft, then a bunch more cans in a fridge. Those appeared to be primarily IPAs which I don't drink. I ordered a deep maroon colored beer called "Party Dinosaur" by Oozlefinch. Later I ordered a wheat beer. Honestly, the best part was the chicken tenders! It's a pound of boneless chicken served with celery and a carrot. There are several sauces you can choose. I went half with the basic Buffalo sauce and the rest covered with sweet BBQ. They had some spice but were really good!

Great spot for appetizers/dinner and craft beers. I was really impressed with their selection of beers on tap and in bottles/cans. We had a sour, ipa, and stout that were all above average. For the food...my friend and I both tried to order the Mac n cheese hot chicken. The chef (maybe part owner) insisted we try one hot chicken poutine. We took her advice and ordered one of each and agreed to share. They were both delicious! The chicken was well cooked and had a nice spice, but not too much. It was great on both, but I have to admit the poutine was best. I'm glad she talked us into it.

Definitely a place to check out if your looking to grab a beer and a casual bite near downtown Cary. A few highlights for me were the multiple variations of poutine, gourmet hotdogs, extensive vegan and vegetarian options and even a menu for your dogs!! I got the hot chicken sandwich which was everything I could want in a Nashville hot sandwich- hot, crispy, spicy, salty (pickles) and served with crunchy slaw and cheese. The poutine le castro which my husband got was the classic poutine and was just perfect. Definitely would like to go back during the week and try one of their gourmet hotdogs and play a round of pool. The only thing a bit lacking was the service. Everyone was extremely nice but they seemed short staffed with only 2 people so we ended up having to go to the bar for drinks and our checks.

Québécois Poutine

Great spot to grab a bite n brew in Cary! They offer $2 off 16oz pours (which is usually the price doff between their 16 & 10oz pours) and on Mondays. But, the big draw for me was their poutine! They offer four variations, but the way to go is the Québécois version! The montreal meat and pickles really add some nice flavor contrasts and their gravy/cheese curds are on point! They offer a decent draught selection, but was surprised there weren't more local Cary/Raleigh brews represented? The Staff is super nice and attentive, as well. Definitely stop in as they have hot dogs, pizza, and burgers on top of poutines.

BottleDog Bites & Brews is one of those hidden gems that Cary seems to always keep concealed! Located in a bland strip plaza off of Chapel Hill Road, this little eatery serves as bottle shop, sports bar and bar food eatery all in one. BottleDog lives up to its name with a usually fantastic offering of beers on tap along with a large assortment of beer by the bottle. But where BottleDog really stands out is its food which has a Canadian bent. From poutine to Montreal smoked meat and beaver tails, the eats at BottleDog are perfect for pairing up with those great beers. It's just a super casual place for a quick stop. Bring some friends, bring your pup and just be excited to enjoy some great beer and bar food.

Chose this place due to yelp reviews. Walked in and was super quiet, but we were super happy we came! Service was outstanding, menu options were great and same with beer selection. The only complaint was no domestic beers but not a huge deal breaker. Food was excellent, ordered poutine, wings, chicken sandwich, fried pickles... all were great portions and good food!! So happy we came, would definitely give it a shot!

The tap selection is honestly impressive -- taps galore with an ever-changing lineup that makes every visit feel a little different. I also love that you can enjoy a pint onsite and then wander over to the bottle shop side to grab some gems to take home. Dangerous for my wallet, fantastic for my fridge. The outdoor patio is spacious, relaxed, and full of happy people and happy dogs. Cary can always use more genuinely dog-friendly spots, and this place embraces it completely. Inside, it was pretty spacious, with a couple of couches, a few tables, and of course the bar seating. I saw multiple customers walking around with their dogs, so I'd say Pharmacy is dog-friendly. The bartender was attentive throughout, and I thought the draft beers were very reasonably priced. The selection on draft was only OK, but that's more based on personal preference, I guess :) Pharmacy also had a bunch of cans available for sale, some refrigerated and some not (presumably based on the type of beer). There was an additional fee if you chose to buy a can and drink it in the bar. Maybe this is normal, but it struck me as a little strange. They also had some food items available but I skipped those this time. Overall, I had a pretty good time. I'd definitely consider stopping by again but I'm not sure it'll be a consistent hang-out.

For starters, our waiter(if I'm not mistaken was also the bartender) was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations since it was our first visit. I ordered the rose water lemonade and my son ordered the strawberry lychee. Both were delicious so much so I asked could the two be combined without the carbonation that the lychee drink had. It was a hit!!!! For appetizers we ordered the Duck Egg rolls and asked the waiter to surprise us with the second appetizer. He chose the Pork Bao. The egg rolls were our favorite out of the two but both were great. For our entrees, my son ordered the General Tso Chicken. I couldn't decide between two dishes so I asked the waiter once again to surprise me. I ended up the whole fish(black bass) entree which was a phenomenal choice. The flavors were like a party in your mouth. It was seasoned to perfection and the sauce: OMG!!!!! Both entrees came with a bowl of fluffy rice. For dessert we got the mooncakes. They were ok. The ambience was nice and welcoming. I don't drink but was informed that it was a place people go to take part in their amazing drink selections. That it is also a great place to read a book which they have plenty to choose from if you forgot your own and a good meet up or date spot. We noticed South Line Brewing right beside it and saw people so we walked across the parking lot. We were immediately greeted by some friendly patrons (looked like they were having an event) and went inside. The bartender asked us what we would like to sample and we quickly found a beer to our liking. We inquired about the brewery next door and she informed us that they were closed for good. (Not this brewery's fault, but how rude that there was no posting on VF regarding this!) We really enjoyed our time here. We had a couple of beers, got a burger from the food truck, and just relaxed and people watched. I got the Notorious Bean Coffee Cream Ale and it was delicious. I had two and they went down very easily LOL. The vibe was excellent. LOTS of different seating...kinda felt like hanging out in your best friends garage (only in the best way possible!)
