"The Bomber" pulled pork with slaw on a toasted bun with crispy french fries.

These folks were super friendly. Location is handy and the outdoor seating is really pleasant with all the shade. Food wasexactly on par with what you'd anticipate from a little microbrewery. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was really good, but the french fries actually stood out for the perfection of being so crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely come back and bring some friends here.

Brisket sandwich with au jus and fries.

What a great lunch spot. We sat outside under a huge shade tree and even enjoyed conversation with some others seated out there. The beer offerings were diverse amd our meals were served quickly and were hot. Husband had a split order of wings - half hot and half sweet chili. He couldn't finish them but wanted to. My brisket was very tasty. The fries are fresh cut and it doesn't look like a lot but there were plenty.

They wouldn't sit people because the kitchen was slammed even though there were plenty of open tables. Very odd.

Fun little place to hang out. Servers are friendly but usually slow. Love the patio and food is ok.

This was a Thursday night (it wasn't super busy) and they raved about your establishment. We did have a party of nine, and I called ahead to either try to get a reservation in or just give a heads up. When we arrived we were still waiting on the rest of our party to arrive and the hostess seemed like it was bother/ or irritated that we even came in asking for a table.. I explained that we called earlier but she was super irritated. We were told it would be 45 minutes and that wasn't a problem at all for us! We sat at the end of the bar to grab a drink while we waited for a table to be available there was only two other people sitting at the bar mind you. we waited at the bar for around 6-7 minutes and nobody came up to us until some lady said we will get to you when we get to you. Once we got a table we were trying to be accommodating and thought we could squeeze into one of the bigger booths, quickly realized we made poor judgement and were crammed so we went and asked the hostess if we could get just the one extra table that was offered. Her response was "I literally just asked you this" and gave super rude and eye roll vibes. I apologized and said I'm so sorry we mis judged. HOWEVER hesban was absolutely the best! He was working so hard! The only reason I will come back to the restaurant would be for him! He had full knowledge of the menu and answered every question that my family had, lots of recommendations! Extremely polite. 10/10 Busting his booty off! He needs a raise!!! Thank you hesban for making the end of our experience way better!

The location was perfect for us because we were able to easily walk there from our hotel. We were lucky enough to get outdoor seating, which made the experience even better. It was great to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Durango weather, and people watch while having dinner. We decided to do a beer flight so we could sample a variety of their beers before committing to a full pint. It was a great way to try different styles, and we each ended up finding a favorite. Everything we tried was really good. My husband liked their Buffalo wings and whiskey burger, I enjoyed the seared tuna bowl, and our kids liked their pizza. It is definitely a busy and popular spot, especially during peak vacation times, so I would recommend putting your name in early and expecting there could be a wait. In our opinion it was worth it. Steamworks had a great casual vibe that worked well for both families and adults wanting to enjoy a brewery experience. The downtown location adds to the charm, and it definitely felt like one of those must visit spots while in Durango.

For drinks we ordered dirty martinis. They were filled to the rim which was nice but could have been colder. The menu looked great. We went with burgers. We ordered the Smokehouse burger medium rare with cheddar, house bbq, crispy onions, bacon plus all the toppings. It was cooked perfectly. It came with a spicy slaw. So delicious. We also ordered the Truffle mushroom burger medium with a mixture of cremini, oyster, shiitake mushrooms plus Swiss cheese and truffle aioli plus all the toppings. It was cooked perfectly medium. It also came with the delicious slaw. The buns were a bit big but at least they were soft and delicious. The dessert. So tasty. Honestly $27 is pricy for a burger but it was very good. We would come back to Smuggler union try other menu items next time we return to Telluride.

We got lucky and snagged three seats at the bar... and so glad we did! The bartenders were both very friendly, made great recommendations and handled a very busy bar/restaurant with patience. As far as food goes- we got the tuna appetizer which was very good. Not something most would order from a pub but their sister restaurant is actually the sushi place up the street, so they source from the same place. We also got the potato tots that were very good as well. Basically just fried cheesy mashed potatoes. Finally, we shared the buffalo wings which were delicious!! Some of the best wings I have ever had! The flavor was great and the chicken as moist. We actually attempted to go back again the next night and ran into a bit an attitude at the hostess stand, so decided to go elsewhere. Overall, we had a great experience and I would certainly go back.

Tho the absolute standout for me was the Upper A Imperial Red! Staff is great, friendly and even the regulars will have beernerd level convos! Food is also awesome! They serve Pasties (pronounced "pas-tee") here...if you don't know what they are, they are basically caucasian empanadas and can go savory or sweet. I ordered FOR THE BIRDS "Beer roasted chicken, applewood bacon, potato, carrot, scallions, mushrooms and cheddar cheese. For food, she and I both ordered the Banged Up Pasty. I must say, I was excited to see a place that has a whole section of Pasties, they are not something you find everywhere but a favorite of our family. The pasty we selected was flaky crust filled with mashed potatoes and bratwurst. It came with gravy as well as grainy mustard. Delish!! My husband went with the Fish & Chips. They did not disappoint. In addition to the pup seating area, they have an extensive patio as well as indoor seating. Our service was great, the food delicious and the beers tasty and refreshing.
