So many great dresses, shoes, accessories and summery items. The prices were reasonable and the staff was helpful and friendly despite being very busy. Looking them up on Yelp, I see they have a few locations. I used to live at wind n sea and I wish this store was there when I did. Even the postcards follow similar color palette. Pieces are of good quality and affordable prices. The store is spacious and clean and even you have some chairs to sit if you get tired of shopping.

I have shopped for years at Francesca stores in multiple store locations but I took my young nieces…read moreto shop in La Jolla and we stopped in and put a large order together but the computer was down at checkout. The initial employee was very apologetic and we were in no hurry but she insisted on holding our items and would not let me leave any form of payment but promised to call when the computers were working. We even went to lunch and came back because it was a graduation shopping trip for the girls and they really liked their items. No one ever called and when I phoned back less than 48 hours later I was told someone had called about all the orders on hold and if you didn't show up immediately your items were put back on the shelf. I double checked my phone and there were no missed calls or messages. It's sad that no one can use a calculator and take cash for sales when this happens and that a company doesn't care about the sale of merchandise. This was one of my favorite stores for 20+ years but I will never go back to any location because the manager in La Jolla was so rude when I called and did not care about making this sale or that it was a missed opportunity.

The manager Tracy is friendly and fashion savvy, making each trip a full-on shopping experience as she picks out items that would work for you based on your tastes or just because she has a great idea! When I first "discovered" this store last summer, she recommended I try a navy striped maxi dress that I never would have considered on my own...now it is one of my favorite summer dresses and I get a ton of compliments! The store is especially great for unique, casual or semi-formal dresses.

As an okinawan woman, I often feel very misunderstood and overspoken in today's time post japan overtaking okinawa. It was very healing to meet a healer who was open to hear my story and my family background Nuchi du takara (all life is precious in uchinaguchi/ okinawan native language which was banned post ww2) and chibariyo!! (Chant for good luck/"we can do this!"/ expression of the spirit of shared community and mutual aid) - I hope and pray the gods bless this shop for their impact on this community. It is seen. Update: I also forgot to mention she also gave me free pearls which im extremely grateful for!!!!!! I have recently been getting more into wire wrapping so I plan to make a nice talisman with them! I would give 0 star if Yelp has that option…read more I walked in to this store with my mom and aunts. My mom saw these sandals (Born) and wanted to try them on. She grabbed the one on the shelf which was exactly her size. At the time a male sales approached us and he said "can I get you any size?" I said to him, she's already trying on this one from the shelf. He replied "Please don't try it on if it's not her size, she might stretch out the shoe." I checked the sandal and told him "This is her size." Then he stayed quiet. My mom told told me there's a sign outside says 25% discount. I asked him and he said "It's only that particular band (I think it's called Earthlink) and they are all mixed in the shelves." When he told me this, he said it in a tone that's really disrespectful. Like talking to a kid. I spoke in Mandarin to my mom and told her this guy is very rude. Even though she liked the shoes, we do not need to buy them here. Overall, this place does have good quality or lets just say expensive shoes. However, the service was really bad and whoever that salesperson is needs to work on his attitude towards customers.

I realize that this is my fault for buying walking shoes that were obviously uncomfortable but to my defense I had only the stores 20 X 10 ft space to walk around and make a good determination in. Anyways, moral of the story is that I tried to return them the next day (with receipt to the same salespeople) and they didn't take the uncomfortable brand new shoes back. It sucked because i bought them for europe and then I was sent away from the store (that I had spent $500 at the previous day) with shoe inserts and a "sorry, we don't do returns if you wore them at all." It was the same salespeople from the previous day and they literally didn't care at all that I had large blisters.. BUT when I was spending $$$ they could have been my best friends... Oh sales people... I just think people should know this BEFORE buying shoes from this store. Their shoes are perfectly fine but their policy is plain rude. If I spend a ton of money there, they can afford to take the loss on one $70 pair of walking shoes even if that can't happen with every customer return (it's a small store). Anyways, if you find something here, chances are it will be online AND at nordstom for the same price and you can actually return them if they're uncomfortable.
