Had reservations but went early and were seated right away! Very cool vibe with a 3 piece band playing. They were really good. Started with a cocktail. I had the basic old fashioned smoked. Really good. And a nice pour! Then we had the seasonal bisque. Amazing! Tomato bisque with a big crouton topped with chèvre. So good. American board. Everything tasted really good. Loved the Chorizo meatballs. Really great flavors but not and miss with the chorizo heat. Nathalie was awesome. We had a blas

Yelp doesn't let me down often but it did this time. In my opinion, there is no way this place should be getting a 4.6 rating. The food was awful. I wonder if a lot of "friends" of the restaurant have been doing reviews. First, the service was poor. We sat at our table for 15 minutes and no waiter showed up. I finally had to flag someone down and they went and found our waiter. He turned out to be a nice guy but we only saw him twice during our meal - once when he took our order and then again after we were done eating. Asking us how everything is after we're done eating isn't very helpful. He should have checked partway through the meal how everything was and if we needed anything else. Next let's talk about the food. Ahh yes. This is where the real issue was. You basically order a bunch of boards with some food on them. The prices are very high. I get it. It's St. Augustine. The problem is you don't get very much food and it was awful. The two burger sliders on my fiancé's board were cold (lukewarm) as were the meatballs on my dad's board. The meatballs also had gristle in them and were kind of tough. The chicken wings on the American Board were similarly poor. My bisteca strips were tough, cold and tasteless. The shrimp that came with my board were soggy and not fresh. The Mac N Cheese board was even worse. The Mac N Cheese tasted old and stale and it seemed someone had just microwaved leftover Mac N Cheese they had lying around. None of the food we had seemed fresh. It all tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Another issue was the price. The American Board with two small cold sliders and two cold chicken wings was $30. Absurd for what you get. The other boards were just as bad. At the end of the meal the waiter asked how everything had been. I gave him an honest appraisal. I wasn't looking for any money back (nor was any offered). I just thought they should know. He said he would go back and talk to the chef. He came back out and said the chef offered to buy us cheesecake. We politely declined and just asked for the bill. At this point, we just wanted to leave. I make it a point of never punishing the waitstaff for a bad experience unless they did something deliberate. Our waiter was a nice guy and, even though he really only came to our table twice, I left him the usual 20% tip. Again, I get it this is a tourist town and people come and go. However, even so that doesn't justify this poor quality of food for such high prices. I would give Bourbon & Board a wide berth and find other places to spend your dining dollars.

Wow, what a great find. Our bartender Riley was amazing. Simply went in finding a place to relax at the end of the night. And although about to close, welcomed us and offered all assistance as we desired. Comfortable and pristine setting and establishment. Had just ran out of Screwball and when talking through some ideas, was offered the Select Club Pecan Praline! OMG, perfect on its own if you want that light sweet taste. we experimented with a dash of their expresso and again, A HIT! Our second visit we ordered a Bruschetta and that also hit the spot. We'll look forward to ordering other 'board' items as we make our visits. Great staff and service. Will visit every time in the Old City!

Stopped in here for a drink and snack while roaming around downtown St. Augustine. It seemed like it opened not too long ago. We got a seat by the front door. There was live music going on. Which is a plus, I ordered a blackberry smash and my friend and I shared a charcuterie. My drink was good. Some of the cheeses on the board I really loved. The only thing about this place is that it is very loud in here because of the music and you cannot hear each other talk.

Where to begin?? This place is Awesome!!! So very much my style, gave me the feel of Dtown Sacramento Lively entrance that can instantly simmer down to a romantic feel as the guitartest plays live right in front of your table. Swing in for a wonderful cocktail at the bar, made with top notch bourbon, or do what I did and grab a table right in front of the live music all while enjoying a late lunch with the kids and family. Wine selection is great even though they are Prided for their bourbon. Food was a delicacy, and so unique and tasty!! I was pleasantly surprised. Servive was good, and staff were friendly. If you are near or coming from afar you definitely need to give them a try!

I stopped in for brunch with my wife and loved this restaurant. Great coffee and a great whiskey list that didn't just start and stop with anything from Buffalo Trace. The service was great and our waitress was knowledgeable and did a great job. I loved the iPads for menus. We had the quiche, a breakfast sandwich and waffles to share. Everything was above average. I will be back next time I am in town.

Right in the heart of St Augustine on the Plaza de la Constituciòn. Great bites that remind me of a beloved tapas ( small bites) bar. We stumbled in about 9:30 from the dark and cold to a warm atmosphere of live music and great drinks. My friend ordered a Sour Cherry Bourbon drink that I can't stop thinking about! We ordered a flatbread with tuna and the curried fried potatoes to share. The food was good. The bar is beautiful and fitting with a modern yet classic coastal feel. I'd say this place is the perfect meetup place for a group of friends pre or post walkabout in StAug.

Great new venue in downtown St. Augustine. Their soft opening showcased very friendly staff, excellent wine selection, craft cocktails, beautiful & tasty charcuterie boards and the exceptionally talented House Cats jazz band. One of the hostesses joined the band on my favorite classic "Summertime". She has a beautiful voice & I am thrilled to find a jazz venue here.

Good food options, good cocktail variety alcoholic and nonalcoholic. They have more dinner option as well but we were just there for a small snack.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.
