Tried to order the caviar sandwich but was opted for a substitution of the sturgeon caviar with all of the accoutrements, also got the Bahi Mi (Bánh Mì), was exactly how I expected it. A disappointment of soggy bread with pork belly and very little flavor. Lobster Baos were a little lobster rolls, fresh and light but needed some lemon on it. It's okay. read more

I was super excited to try this place out with all the new openings in Hyde Park. My friend and I shared a few cocktails and snacks and enjoyed them all, despite being on the pricier side. For example, two lobster bao buns ran us $21 ... which is $10.50 for a nibble that comes cold, yet is served in a steamer bun. My main issue stems from the service (or lack of). As a new spot, I would have enjoyed our server running through the menu, offering a recommendation, or even telling us what was on the charceuterie board we ordered. Instead, our server seemed to be in an extreme rush and couldn't be bothered. Mind you, we were the only table seated! Literally no one else was in the restaurant on the Tuesday we visited until one full hour into our stay. The server first came to ask us for our drink orders. After we told her, she ran off and I had to beg to put in a food order. Mind you, she took no steps to walk closer, I just had to yell them to her as she continued walking away. The manager (I presume) popped by at the very end and was quite friendly, but still didn't negate the tough time we had with service. Overall, the point of a champagne bar is to have a bit of a luxurious experience. Instead, we felt more like a bother than an invitee. read more

Went here for my birthday thinking it was like the pictures and it's not. Do not let there marketing and pictures fool you. The Brunch was awful. Food was awful. I have to say service was good but that's about it. If it wasn't for our server we probably would have left. The three course meal was not what you think. The food was un edible. Burnt croissants, burnt waffles, eggs were cold and old.. we were there for over 2 hours still didn't even get our last course. I was so excited to finally try this place I've seen all over Instagram only to be super disappointed in the service. Our empty glasses were never removed from our table in the 2.5 hours we were there & 3 rounds of drinks we got, our waiter took about 30-40 min between check ins/new drink orders, never checked on us after we got our food, and we sat for about 30 min after being done with our meal before flagging down our waiter and being told to "give him a minute" with a finger gesture before he came to give us our check. I guess he wasn't too concerned with giving good service since they added 20% gratuity for our party of 5. I always leave great tips but was disappointed in the fact that we had subpar service and he got 20%. We let the manager know only to be told "I will talk to him". While I do not mind paying top dollar for amazing food.. this was a bit over the top. For $45 we were served a tiny cheese and charcuterie board that would be more appropriate for one person. However, the selection was nice. Additionally, we ordered the underwhelming mushroom entree which includes about 4 mushrooms, mixed greens with no particular dressing, on a bed of tasteless vegetable mash. The sparkling cava was nice as was a gin cocktail. We had reservations in the champagne cellar but the restaurant was permeated by a VERY strong fish smell that even wafted out to the outdoor seating. Not like a pleasant seafood restaurant smell... an alarming seafood smell. We were still hungry and ended up having food elsewhere. Would recommend for a nice glass of Champagne pre or post dinner. Wow!! What a great experience we had at Bouzy! The service was excellent (shout out to Kenzie- she was amazing- helpful, attentive, I cannot say enough)- the food was excellent- we had oysters, both baked and raw- both were awesome but baked were exceptional (was told Reggie made the oysters so thank you!), the beet salad great, the cuban bao bun was excellent, and the lobster roll was outstanding!!! (was told Camilla was the chef so I would like Camilla's schedule so I can visit on the regular when she is the chef!!!). Believe it or not we had a bite, maybe two, of the waffle dessert- also excellent! We cannot wait to go back! One note, we went on a Monday night and sat in the cellar so noise level was quiet but I can imagine on a busier night it could be loud but that would not deter me!!! Highly recommend! read more

walked in at the bar to enjoy a late lunch but it was cut quite loose short by the head chef yelling at the other staff. I was so uncomfortable that I felt I needed to leave. the bartender was very nice though and was able to comp my drink for me since that was all I had before deciding to leave. Ambiance was terrible as they allowed a party of 15+ onto a table of 8 with people just standing around crowding other tables. Food was ok at best, drinks were the only positive. Even with a complimentary drink and taking one of the meals off the check, as it was not placed when ordered, it can't earn more than 1 star. I was underwhelmed the champagne by the glass options. There were about 5. If you wanted true champagne it started at $20+ a glass up to $79. Not many options in the $15-18 range if you want sparkling wine. I think the food and wine menu is better at the Palma Ceia location. The food was Asian inspired. Rather odd for a champagne restaurant. Seems like French would be a natural fit. We had the cheese and charcuterie board. It was excellent! Great service. Our server was great, but that is the only positive. The champagne was fine, just overpriced. The mixed drink was so small with a giant ice cube in a small glass with barely any drink. My salad was pretty good and a decent portion size, but my husband and his friends all got the lobster pasta for $28 and it was so tiny and they all left hungry. The back room we were taken to was dark, no windows, and you had to walk through a server hallway to get there. We watched one group walk in then leave. It was only our group and one other in there! After arriving here from an utterly terrible experience at another restaurant where we had a reservation, we asked the hostess for some mercy and if there was any chance (it was a Friday night at 7:30) we could get seated. She took our info and said it could be 30 minutes and that she'd call us, but if we could find a seat at the bar, she would come find us when ready. She then stopped and said she would go see for us and came back and brought us to two open seats at the bar. Already a MILE better service than our previous stop. The bartending staff was amazing and friendly and engaging with everyone, even offering to take pics of couples and groups of friends so they could all be in the pics. After two drinks we were shown to our table, outside and a waiter was at our table less than 2 minutes later. He knew the menu backwards and forwards and even offered suggestions for my date who has several food allergies. Food came out quickly and was absolutely amazing...from the oysters to the lobster rolls to the steak to the drinks, and our waiter, Bouzy is a class act and we cannot wait to return! Was walking round Hyde park and saw this nice little cocktail bar, looked it up, it was 10pm when they closed at 12, when I walked in bartender looked at his watch and reluctantly said I guess we are still open. Off to a great start. Order drinks and service was alright but then the same dick bartender sent us a martini with 2 olives (bad luck, major faux Paux, the bar version of go fuck yourself olives should be 1, 3, or 5 if they are running low, never 2 or 4) but I'm just assuming he's new or isn't well educated with bar knowledge but very well could have been a message to fuck off. A group of some 3 ladies showed up probably 20 minutes after us and he did the same look at his watch and sigh "I guess we are still open" and I understand pre closing, but pre closing and not being barely available to the guests 2 hours before last call is kind of nuts when the bar was more than half full, but alas. End of the day white bartender mid 30's either major dick or doesn't know what he's doing, probably a little bit of both, left a sour taste of this place in my mouth. They had pappy 10 for $35/oz and 12 for 45/oz which I would have ordered the both if the service was better but couldn't justify a $80 round of drinks with the rough service. 2 stars for pappy, 0 for the bartender that outwardly didn't like his job or being a bartender. Had reservations for brunch for early Mother's Day. Hostess very snooty. There was literally ONE table of people in the entire place which was 3 or 4 women having a great time. Hostess seats us packed in the corner right on top of these ladies when all other tables empty. We asked if we could have a little more space and she rudely stated that the window table had a reservation already. Not that we even asked for the window table, but did we miss the part of the reservation website where you can reserve a specific table? We too had a reservation so not sure why someone not even there would get a better table than us. So we were sat at a perfectly fine table in the hallway. Then another lady comes running up and asks us if we want t to sit by the window. Ok, fine, we will sit at the window table. Then someone comes to take our drink order. Then a different person comes to take our drink order. Then someone different who claims to be our server tries to take our drink order. Then we order the lobster bao buns. Fantastic. Then someone pours my husband's sparkling wine and it sits there on the bar for a good 5 minutes getting warm before someone brings it over. My mimosa glass sits empty and a person (not our server) finally comes to see if I would like another. Then we order entree. Yet another different person brings out our waffle. Our server was AWOL. Waffle just ok. Overall experience not great. We have been waiting so long for this place to open and it was not special at all. Did not feel like a champagne bar. Was not even offered champagne. Especially on Mother's Day weekend you would think you would offer champagne flights, flowers for Moms, special dishes, etc. Also need to separate patio seating from other businesses. Don't want to spend $100 for breakfast while a guy in sweats talking on his cell drinking his smoothie from next door business is there, or the lady with two dogs slopping up water. This was not a well-oiled machine by any means. Hope it gets better, we are huge cru fans. No one working had a clue what their role was. read more
