We dined in and sat at the bar which is first come first serve. They have valet parking, but we were also told if you park in the back spaces you can park on your own for no cost. The renovated restaurant is really pretty and bright with a lot of wide open space. To me it wasn't too crowded or too loud. The bar is also just very large and you can order food there as well. The woman assisting us was fantastic. They all did a great job telling me what was gluten-free on the menu. The menu has a lot of options, but I opted for the Chefs special of the day which was King Crab. I had the Landon Palmer cocktail which was such an interesting take on the Arnold Palmer. I would highly recommend it. We ordered a plethora of items and I believe the deviled eggs were really the only thing we did not care for. The roasted oysters were good and the Calabrian Ceasar was a decent amount. The beet salad is probably the one I would recommend if you like beers, its great. Lastly, the Black Grouper seems to be a keeper. I liked everything for the most part and would return. They just opened so its busy, but rhis place is a great alternative for a night out of any type. We finished off with dessert and I had the vanilla gelato which was gluten-free and my husband had a chocolate oreo type dessert which he liked a lot.

I've had this restaurant saved on my yelp account for a long time, but was yet to go here. I am so glad that I did. Holy smokes is this place great! Up first, I had an $18 Espresso Martini. The martini was great. Not an all timer, but it was up there. Then, for my 2nd drink I tried an $18 Dirty Martini. The Dirty Martini was right on point. I like the tiny ice chunks in my drink. And of course the blue cheese olives are my fave. I started with the $15 Crispy Brussels Sprouts side, but had it as an appetizer. I thought these were very good. A solid 8.7/10. A little on the more plain side, but the char was good and so was the seasoning plus nuts. Then, I had the $18 Deviled Eggs. The bartender was telling me these are the best ever. I liked them a lot, but certainly not the best ever. I'm not crazy for caviar to begin with. For the main course I had the $55 8 oz filet mignon. I'm always super hesitant about ordering steak at a restaurant that isn't a steakhouse because I'm super picky. However, The Landon absolutely nailed it. A scorching 9.3/10 on the filet mignon. It started out a little medium rare, then as I got to the middle it got more medium. I liked the slight salt on top and it was a little more on the plain side. I got a side of horseradish and it was perfect. For dessert I had the $15 Sticky English Toffee Butter Cake. I was already pretty stuffed, but glad I tried it. Pleasantly surprised at such a great restaurant on South Howard Avenue. As always, I almost never venture this way because parking sucks.

Celebrated my birthday here with my girlfriends and had a good experience! The restaurant did a great job accommodating our reservation and added special touches to celebrate my birthday with a light on the table and a house dessert. For apps, we all really loved the Tuna Tartare Cannoli! It was a fantastic way to eat tartare and was delicious. The Pullapart Milk Bread was also a big crowd pleaser for us. We did have a few issues with cocktails not being the right drink or not being delivered a few times, but our server promptly handled the issue. As for meals, many of us got the Southern Grouper and it was fantastic! I personally got the Chilean Seabass but felt it was lacking compared to the grouper dish - I wouldn't order again, but it was bad. Just less food and more stylistic on the plate and felt a little plain. Someone else got the French Roast Chicken and it was also very good. I will warn that the restaurant does get a bit loud, not something that bothered us, but worth noting if that's a sensitivity - especially because we went on a Wednesday evening. All around a good experience and I would come back to try other dishes.

There's a reason this is one of the hottest reservations in town. From the moment we arrived, every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully executed. The standouts were the incredible milk bread and the 10K scallops, both of which absolutely lived up to the hype. The kiwi margarita was another highlight. It was bright, refreshing, and topped with a light Aperol foam that added a fun, airy texture to each sip. Service was excellent, too. If you can, request Victoria's section! She made an already memorable meal even better. One thing to keep in mind: the main dining room gets very loud once the restaurant fills up. If you're looking for a quieter, more intimate dinner or want to have easy conversation, plan accordingly or consider requesting seating in a different area. Overall, every part of the experience felt thoughtfully executed, and it's easy to see why it's one of the toughest reservations to score. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

Divine experience at the Landon this weekend. This upscale concept is from a Chef that was on Hells Kitchen! They do everything right here, from amazing service to perfect food. This place is a perfect spot for a date night or special occasion. We didn't have a reservation and were lucky to get a seat. We were sat in a small intimate back area that was actually super nice. Our server (I believe Anthony?) was amazing. Walked us through the menu and checked in with us every step of the way. His service was above and beyond, and you could tell he truly cared and had a passion in what he did. The food was so so sooooo good. The French roasted chicken was to die for. Normally I steer away from restaurant chicken because it's boring. But wow, was this next level. So rich and tender, as were the roasted carrots. We also had the tuna cannoli app and side of lobster Mac and cheese. Both were amazing!! The sticky toffee cake was scrumptious for dessert and the drinks were so fresh and flavorful. My kiwi margarita basically looked like a bubble bath! (Aperol foam) How fun haha. The Landon is not a cheap experience by any means but well worth it. Make sure to get a reservation if you can and order that chicken!!

Super chic restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and a fantastic menu from appetizers to dessert. From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed with exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff--from our server to the team bringing out dishes and refilling water--was genuinely warm, attentive, and friendly. The house bread is the perfect way to start the meal and is easily shareable for a table of four to six. My husband's filet was cooked to a perfect medium-rare with a beautiful crust and incredible flavor. The sea bass was equally impressive, perfectly complemented by a flavorful sauce and served over a bed of spinach. Be sure to save room for the affogato--it was hands down the highlight of the evening and an absolute must-try. It was the perfect ending to an outstanding dining experience. I can't wait to come back!

I had a wonderful experience visiting The Landon last night. I remember when 717 South was such a well-known restaurant in Tampa for many years before it sadly burned, and I'm so happy to see that The Landon has emerged in its place as one of Tampa's most exciting and delicious new restaurants. After trying to get a reservation with my friend for the last 2 1/2 months and constantly seeing it booked, I now completely understand why! The service was exceptional. Catie and the wonderful lady assisting her made us feel so welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire evening. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really stood out. We started with the Rosé Cosmos, which had such an interesting and unique flavor profile. Personally, I loved their Bailey's Espresso Martinis more ~ they were delicious. For dinner, we shared several dishes so we could experience different flavors: the scallops, Thai coconut curry mussels, and crab cake. Everything was tasty, with such a creative balance of savory and sweet flavors. The scallops especially were a standout ~ beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For dessert, we enjoyed the sticky pudding with a side of ice cream covered in cookie crumble and caramel popcorn + nuts, and it was the perfect way to finish the evening. A special thank you to the hostess, Michelle, who went out of her way to help me secure a reservation for next week so my husband and I can come back and he can experience this amazing new addition to Tampa's dining scene. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful. I love the open-floor design where you can see the kitchen from the main dining room, plus they have a smaller dining room for a quieter experience and another more private dining area near the bathrooms. The entire restaurant is thoughtfully designed and has such a warm, elegant feel.

Came to The Landon in Soho to celebrate my friend's birthday and left having such a lovely evening! The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waiter was warm and personable throughout... shoutout to him because it was also his birthday, so we were celebrating Gemini season all around! Service was a little slow but we were having such a great time chatting regardless. We of courseee started with the pull apart milk bread and omg, delicious! It was warm and fluffy and came with a sea salt butter with hot honey, lavender, and pistachio brittle... I would marry this butter if I could LOL. We also started with the tuna tartare cannoli (unique and really yummy!), crispy chicken (good but not a standout for me), and the beet and goat cheese salad which was stunning to look at and pretty tasty as well (if you like beets!). For my main I went with the Southern Grouper which was a bit steep $$ for me, but I'd seen other Yelpers recommend and once I saw "corn spoon bread, scampi shrimp, corn veloute" as accompaniments I knew I had to try. The fish on its own didn't blow me away, BUT the combination of the fish with the corn spoon bread and corn veloute was amazing... so, so good. A couple of friends who ordered the same dish felt the same way. Delicious. We also ordered sides of brussel sprouts and mac & cheese which were both solid additions as well. Dessert was the perfect close... the restaurant brought out a little chocolate mousse dish for the birthday girl, and we ordered the sticky English toffee butter cake which was incredibleeee. Highly recommend saving room! Oh and I almost forgot to mention the hugo spritz! It was perfect, probably the best hugo I've had in Tampa Bay. Overall a really wonderful night! Great setting, great company, great food. The Landon is absolutely worth a visit!

My new favorite bar for both drinks and a nice dinner. Sometimes you want an exceptional meal in a casual setting and now with Haven gone, Landon opened at the most opportune time providing just that. Their bar is just as light, bright and beautiful as the dining room. The food is amazing, and the drinks and friendly bartenders serving them complete the perfect experience. The crab cakes, lobster popcorn, and brussel sprouts are my absolute favorites, but I'm always finding more appetizing dishes from fellow patrons. Make sure to get there when they open to secure a seat at the bar. Otherwise, reservations well in advance are a must for the dining room.

***GOAT ALERT*** WOW! Absolutely incredible food & service!! Talk about fabulous hospitality... the real Southern Charm here! We started at the bar & I had the espresso martini with resposado $16 +$3 up charge & it was delish! When our dinner resy was ready, we were sat in the back area of the restaurant. Most didn't seem like they wanted to be back there the grim look on their faces entering the private small space lol so If you prefer to sit in the open front area, I suggest you make note of it Prior in your resy due to very small dining space (would be difficult to accommodate changes) throughout (very narrow walkways & restroom. The NY Strip I would say is the best in the Tampa Bay Area for a NY Strip. 2nd best is at District South Tavern, in comparison for the area. It more was medium rare than medium. I would order this again. Next time I'll get the filet. The best Brussel Sprouts I've ever had! It has that taste of total total char yet not burnt not wet yet very moist in middle... so fresh... it was so good I ate it all!!! (I am in awe that the plate here at The Landon was not dripping in oil or heavy syrupy sauce.... Which was what I had the most disgusting Brussel Sprouts at Beau's & Mo's Italian Eatery dripping in like a pancake syrup dripping in oil... ICK). Thank goodness this place revived my love for Brussel Sprouts. Everything here is very curated to perfection. I felt like I was at the Ritz hotel & booked a room for the night LOL... that's how crazy kind & friendly & beautful the service was!!! Every item on the menu it was like I wanted to try it all!!! Just very exquisite & spectacular!!! This place is fully booked out 2-3 weeks out so book asap! I can't wait to get the filet next time will try it with the bone marrow. I was able to park in the back for free, there is also valet service at the parking lot entrance.

One of the best meals and experience in Tampa Bay Area in a while. The food was amazing, the service was spectacular (the best ever in Florida) and the cocktails are interesting. We had the milk bread with sea salt butter, hot honey and lavender pistachio brittle, the 10k scallops with corn pudding, pork belly, and quail eggs, our main was the southern grouper with cornbread scampi, shrimp, and corn veloute. WOW. The ambience is open, light and welcoming. Will be back soon to try more of the menu.

First we started at the bar for an aperitif. I ordered the strawberry crush with patron and my friend ordered a don julio espresso martini. Chloe the bartender made great drinks. We then were seated in half booth half table in the back room. Great atmosphere and comfortable seats. Excellent service at dinner by Mick. I ordered mashed potatoes and the caviar vodka preclude. The chilled vodka made an excellent pairing for the caviar. The mashed potatoes were topped with melted butter - 10/10. Would definitely return. The desserts looked amazing.

The Landon was definitely a mixed experience for me. Parking was easy. The inside feels much more upscale than 717. I also liked that they had a Landon designed bag holder at the table, you don't see that often. That being said, the portion sizes were very questionable for the price you pay. The mashed potatoes were tasty, but the amount was so small for what you're charged. I also ordered the red snapper and was expecting a whole fish, since the menu did not clarify that it was just a medium filet. It was small, had no side dishes, and the menu description made it sound like there would be more included... smh. I also was not impressed with the drinks at all. For a place with this kind of ambiance, I was expecting better craft cocktails, not basic vodka or tequila choices that felt pretty lame. I ended up having to come up with my own concoction just to enjoy my drink. The dessert was scrumptious, but I was still disturbed over the snapper situation and how underwhelming the overall experience felt for the price. The ambiance is there, but for those prices, the portions, drinks, and menu descriptions need to match the expectation a lot better. I won't be back.
