The worker is making the bowl right in front of you so you have a lot more control over how the bowl turns out. My partner always just gets açaí so he can go anywhere but I much prefer the other bases like ube and mango that the majority of restaurants that serve açaí bowls don't offer. We were lucky to walk in when no one was in front of us so we were served immediately, unlike other places where you may have to wait for a backlog of orders in front of you.
