My husband and I are casual bowlers, and we came here with a bunch of friends and relatives. It was nice that we could play for our own games. The rental was pretty easy, but staffing seemed to be an issue. We ordered food, and it took a while and then they forgot our drinks the first time around. $5.46 for a fountain soda is really crazy, but they make their money off food and beverages. We still ordered it! We got chicken tenders and fries, also not bad for what it was. Coming in, we knew we're paying a lot of money so it didn't hurt to see the money disappear lol Their arcade area was decent, there was a huge empty space and their photobooth was out of order. We also did the loaded fries with bacon they use the crinkle fries. For the bevie I tried the pina colada, served in some kind of mixing can, presentation wasn't anything special but the drink was good:) We had fun golfing as well they have every size you could need for golfing or you can bring your own. We reserved two hours and that was plenty. They also have a chill room on the lower level it has some tables and games and a pool table. I work full time blue collar job 60+ hours a week and train 18+ hours a week as an endurance athlete. I don't drink much, as training doesn't allow for the product I'm needing to show up with during work and my race events to coincide with results needed, but here we are. So assuming maybe they thought my worn down, tired and flushed demeanor was a sign of being out of it or inebriated. It started out weird with the wait staff checking ids on some of our 5 person party. Saying they needed to because of overserving people. Weird, but okay. In my 43 years, I've never been cut off, let alone cut off by a kid (assuming half my age) after 4 ultras. (One the wait staff said they dropped off but didn't. I brushed it off and said one of our parties) but we were scheduled to stay there for 2 hours of bay time and planned on relaxing and enjoying a fun responsible night with our close friend group. The wait staff seemed attentive but the food was mediocre, nachos were stale and steak was dry/ overcooked. They forgot items we ordered, brought out wrong items and lots of things went wrong here due to being profiled/ judged/ assumed and advocated for when we didn't need any of that non sense. I'm only kicking myself judging back with this one star review because they indeed did that to myself and my friends. All of us successful, 3 of us amazing parents, and good humans trying to unplug and laugh and forget about our daily lives for the time of the rental bay and atmosphere. For the $300+ we spent on bay, food and limited/ governed drinks, I'd wish we would've went to another establishment like Popstroke or main event. My friends and Myself, get safety and doing a job, but profiling us like that and thankfully it wasn't too busy to be completely humiliated , but to be told we can only serve you a beer every 30 minutes after only having 3, because the manager said their job is to review bar tabs and manage that. The kicker is, after the manager told us that, the manager still offered to serve me one is totally bananas to me. I respectfully declined the offer. The main waiter/ waitress couldn't even tell us, they asked their younger manager to come up to us. We still tipped appropriately and didn't take it out on serving staff or the staff in general, like we enjoyed our experience and know it's a tough world out there. We were respectful and didn't cause any further awkwardness and carried on with our bay rental. Finished our time and left We definitely felt shamed and judged and that's not right at all. So be aware if you do go to this establishment, you will be profiled, assessed and judged if you have more than one libation. Topgolf used to be fun, relaxing and a great place to escape the heat if you didn't want to golf on a course during summers. I'd only hope a good management team can use my word as a teaching lesson moving forward to better their business practices while keeping their staff protected and their patrons safe while enjoying the views and hitting into the net.

When we initially first walked in it wasn't too busy so we found the promo for a pitcher of beer and a pie for 30.99. So my husband was pretty stoked for that. But HUGE disclaimer! It's only for particular beers make sure to ask before they pour whatever beer. Because we made the mistake since no one told us that it only applies to probably something like something super generic and mediocre like coors or michelob ultra etc. my husband ordered the juicy jack from San tan so he charged us 20 dollars on top of the 30.99. So a grand total of 50.99+ for a pitcher of beer and by far the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life and I've eaten my fair share of pizzas around the world. My daughter who is 2 also loves pizza couldn't even tolerate the sauce like myself. No one enjoyed it. At all. We did enjoy the bowling aspect and the arcade games for my little one since she can't sit still. Employees/service was definitely nothing to write home about what so ever. So if you are going in to have a good time don't expect like stellar service or anything. It's giving very like I'm here I'll do the bare minimum but nothing above that. However, I'm so glad that happened because the owner at the Mesa location, DJ, was absolutely fantastic. DJ took his time, asked key questions, & even watched a few of my shots to provide the best ball recommendations. They had a variety of options at varying price points. I was able to get the ball, custom drilling, & custom finger inserts for ~$200. The new ball is absolutely amazing and worth every penny!!! From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us and was incredibly kind and welcoming. He mentioned it's under new management and that he's been running it for about a year now, and you can really tell he cares about the place and the experience. I also loved that they have free lockers available. I was able to store my bag easily, which was super convenient! As soon as you enter the mini golf course, you're immediately immersed in the safari theme with sound effects that really add to the experience. Each room features different safari animals and glow in the dark props, it was such a fun and unique setup. This was our first time trying glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and it was a really fun experience. Overall, this is a great option if you're looking for something different, affordable, and fun to do. The pricing was very reasonable, and we had such a good time. When you finish golfing, you can also hang out in the arcade area, which was also well priced and a nice bonus. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out Swinging Safari Mini Golf and supporting this local business. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Phoenix visiting!
