This place is okay. Bowling itself was good as we had no problem at all with the ball return and pin set up. The screens worked well. But the vibes in here were just not for me. This place lacks personality and it was kind of creeping me out starting at the white empty wall as I bowled. Most places have decor and stuff to make it look fun but this place had 3 letters on the wall and some TVs. Not the vibe. Despite that they had a cool bar area that had a better vibe. The staff was okay, nothing extraordinary to write about. The bathrooms were pretty rough looking and not nice inside. Overall not sure about coming back I may need to feel out the vibes again but im not a fan of the office break room decor. read more

As a last hurrah during a siblings' trip to San Antonio, Texas, my brothers and I opted to play a game or two of bowling like old times. After leveraging trusty Yelp, we popped over to this location as it's not too far from the airport. Location: It definitely does not appear to be in the safest location. The closed restaurant next door is swarming with homeless who have set-up camp and a multitude of shady characters. Bowling: We were shocked with the price per game ($6.99) and the shoe rental ($5.99) for a dingy location. Maybe I just haven't been bowling in such a long time? We played two games and was bummed when the scoring system completely crashed during the second game. It kept having to be reset and we ended up manually having to adjust the score after each player. Thankfully the employee did not charge us for the second game because of this inconvenience. The restrooms were decent and there is a snack bar with hot food that we did not partake in. What saves this alley is the cool arcade that has a lot of options. Some of the games were out of order, but most of them are the latest version. I would likely not return to this location in the future, especially since there are plenty of other options. read more

The staff here is super unfriendly they do not promote specials and seem inconvenienced when asking questions this is about everything from bowling specials all the way down to drink specials. They also turn your lane off when you take breaks. The second thing about this ally although the food is good they shut down the bar and kitchen way too early. It feels like they rush you out the door from the minute you walk in. The best part of this trip to bowl was that I came from behind and got a turkey in frames 7-9 to win. They appeared to be very short-staffed in the kitchen with only one person taking orders. It took awhile for our first order to come out and even longer (30 minutes or so) after it got a little more crowded. The prize dispenser in the arcade area kept malfunctioning and we had to get some help from the staff to try to cash in our tickets. I scheduled a lane reservation for 5pm Saturday for my 10 year old daughter and 2 friends. The friends arrived a little earlier than anticipated. I called to see if we could head in earlier at 4pm. I spoke to Evan on the phone and he told us we can head on in. We arrived and were greeted by Evan who was patient enough to help us with the sizing of the girls shoes. We were promptly directed to our lane to start bowling. Evan had recommended some food and drinks so we decided to get some for myself my wife and the girls. So, I always use to go to the San Pedro location because it is bigger and a bit more updated, but we tried the Thousand Oaks location once and had such a great experience. A person never answers the phone even calling the Front Desk. The long-winded voicemail message is not helpful. For Lane Reservations the message says for parties of 12 or less, just "roll on in!" But when we got there at 3:52pm on a Sunday, they had no lanes open? The guy at the Front Desk was too busy shooting the breeze with some dude when he could've at least acknowledged our standing there? Better yet, why doesn't the long-winded message say when leagues are happening on certain days during certain times so people don't waste their time driving up there? You can't answer the phone at the Front Desk because it cuts into your smoke break? I even went outside and tried to call the other local Bowlero and got the same long-winded recording stating to just "roll on in!" with no one answering the Front Desk there either! Came here for a youth tournament. Before the tournament started I went and placed an order for food for my family of 6. Keep in mind I went to the snack bar placed my order and waited for my food. My total should have been $58 give or take. Instead I was charged $68. When I got my receipt i noticed they added an 18% service charge. What is this for? I had to go order my food and picked it up at the snack bar. Well 10 min later someone walked by and took my food I had put on my table along with my sons and 2 other kids phones. This was a know homeless man who just walked right in and stole my food and 3 cell phones. One of the employees knew exactly who the gentleman was. Found my phone with the apple find my phone app had this guy arrested for theft and went on with my day. No apology from the bowling alley no refund for my food that was stolen nothing at all. Keep in mind this was a youth only event that was going on during hours the location is not open to the public for bowling. They have multiple signs saying no guns allowed even for concealed carry holders. Only thing I can think is they want the criminals and crooks to have the upper hand here after they rob you in this location. A quick look through the parking lot and we counted 5 homeless people. I have added a pic of an order for just 2 sodas which were $4.49 each before the wonderful 18% service charge. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! read more

Then when we asked to cancel our order she had the nerve to say "oh well I think they're making the pretzel" YOU THINK??
