I recently had an experience that reminded me why I continue to choose Firestone. A few weeks ago, I visited the Firestone location on South Rainbow and had one of my tires replaced. At that time, I also asked them to inspect my front tire because I was concerned about it. I was told there was nothing wrong with it and that it simply needed air. Unfortunately, about two weeks later, the tire began leaking badly and would not hold air. I contacted the store to see if I could get it replaced the same day, but the tire needed to be ordered. The following day, I had appointments for my daughter and couldn't make it in, so I kept putting air in the tire just to get by. Eventually, the tire went completely flat on the side of the road, and I had to call AAA for assistance. While dealing with the situation, I searched for the nearest Firestone because I've always trusted Firestone's service and the quality of their run-flat tires. That's when I contacted the Flamingo location and spoke with Mark. Mark was an absolute lifesaver. He told me to come right in, confirmed they had the tire I needed in stock, and assured me they could take care of it. Despite it being a last-minute visit, my tire was replaced in about an hour. I honestly expected to be there for several hours, but Mark and his team got me back on the road quickly and professionally. Because of the outstanding service I received from Mark, I am more than willing to drive from the Cactus and Blue Diamond area all the way to the Flamingo location for future service. That's how much of an impact this experience had on me. Thank you, Mark, for turning a stressful situation into a positive one. Our Chevy Traverse died while driving on Friday, dead battery. Turned out it was more than that. Had the vehicle towed to Firestone on Flamingo Rd and the technicians had to push the car into the service bay. The battery was dead but so was the alternator. They did charge a fee for an alternator test and I agreed to it, good thing I did. They had the battery in stock and were able to get a rebuilt alternator. Trump's tariffs are making auto parts expensive because they weren't charged an extra fee since they are made in Mexico or Canada, now their prices go up and down and are hard to keep in stock. Firestone is trying to keep costs down to the consumer, hence the rebuild. Everything was take care of in a few hours after bringing it in and their estimation on the repair time was spot on. What really helped was the Epic Sales Event that was going on that week. read more

It runs as sweet as a nut. For a couple of months. Brought in a 2008 Toyota Sienna for the TPM lights. Once they "fixed" the issue, they told us the brakes need work. When I brought it back home it was fine. A few months later, I had an independent mechanic check and it didn't need a brake job. Not only the brakes didn't need service, the TPM lights came back on. One of the best auto shop experiences I've ever had! I called ahead and made an appointment to come in for some tire work on my car. When I arrived, they immediately got my car in and started working on it. The staff that interacted with me were all very friendly, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job of explaining everything and all the options I had. They were up front about everything, which I appreciated. In & out quickly... smooth & easy from beginning to end. Even a day after I left, a warning light came on the dash. I called and they said to come in whenever I felt, and they'd fix it immediately. Don't listen to the bad reviews on here or anywhere else. This shop is great. I came here and got what I needed fixed that was priced competitively. People who complained slow service probably were not able to see the 10+ cars they had to work on. Obviously they're busy and if they're busy, they must be doing something right. And People who complained about phone service and customer service probably need to learn to learn to use the WEBSITE. It's 2023 Jesus Christ Lastly, People who complained about them scamming prices probably weren't able to accept that there own car is just a total POS. I went here to for my tire flat repair. I knew it that there's was 1 screw on it. After they checked my tire they said there was 2 screws, one at the center and the other one is by shoulder. So there's no way that they can fix it. I asked them how much will it cost me to get a new tire they said it's $275 plus tax. So I decided not to go through the process. The next day I went to another tire shop, they see that there's only one screw at the center so they fix it. I'm so happy I saved a lot of money here. So YES! Firestone is LIAR! LIAR LIAR. They charged me a high diagnostic fee just to look at it for a few seconds only to send me to another shop that wasn't certified, I specifically told them that I needed the work done by a certified mechanic to get a smog waiver. Basically 1,000 later and I was no closer to getting my car sorted. I paid $129.50 for an OIL CHANGE, and it was supposed to get a tire rotation, it's in my receipt, but I did not get it, because the guy DARIAN said he wasn't doing one. They saw me coming a mile away! The sad thing is, had he not f#%ked me, I would've came back for every oil change and every tire rotation, and ALOT more, so he would've made more money off me. We came to Vegas last week of August by car with our entire family from California. When we almost arrived, the car had odd smell coming out so my husband quickly found this place to check out the car the next day. Our car is fairly new so this was unexpected and freaking out a bit. 6-6-2024 Front end alignment and a 4-tire rotation. The quality and value were poor Upon picking up my vehicle I asked the person checking me out which was the shop manager and the service mechanic standing next to the manager, were the 4-tires rotated on my vehicle as requested? The manager looked at the service form and stated to me that the 4-tires were rotated. I then told the manager that I looked at my car prior to coming into the shop and noticed that my tires were not rotated. The service mechanic spoke up and said that he did rotate the 4-tires. I then corrected him by telling the both of them that I marked the two back tires with paint, and I noticed coming into the shop that the 4-tires were in the same position on the car as when I brought in to be serviced. The service mechanic said again "I did rotate the tires and that he would do it again if I wanted him to." I corrected the mechanic and told him not to say that he would do it again because he had not done it at all but to say that he would do it the first time. Which the service mechanic did say he would rotate the tires as I requested. After the mechanic left, I paid for the service that I had requested, and the manager apologized to me. I told the manager that I would write a review and report how I was lied to by him and his service mechanic for an incomplete job. I hope that this shop does not mistreat other customers by lying to them for work that the customer is paying for but not receiving because the customer is relying on the shop manager and the service mechanic to tell them the truth. I use to frequent the Firestone on Rock Springs until I called and was told they no longer did smog checks. The following year they said their smog equipment was not working. I then started going to the Firestone on Durango. Great service! Completed smog check, determined tire pressure problem, and changed windshield wipers. Made an appointment fora smog check over a month ago and called to confirm the day before. When I arrived, I was told the smog technician was not in. I wondered why they did not call to tell me this, so I didn't have to drive down there in the first place. Luckily the store manager at the FIRESTONE on flamingo Road said he could do my smog check. Terrible service to say the least. I came to this location after going to a different one because the wait time was too long. Long story short the other location looked at the tire PRIOR to taking the car in and told me that it is repairable. I had a nail in my tire. But because I didn't want to wait 3 plus hours I decided to go to this location. I waited 2.5 hours at this location for them to tell me it is not repairable and the tire is 200 plus. So irritated and disappointed. I feel like they were genuinely just trying to take my money. I have a BRAND NEW tire with a nail towards the center of the tire. I had set up an appointment two days before my scheduled date using the Firestone website--I arrive on time, 7 on the dot, right as they open. The guy asks me if I have an appointment, of course I do, so he lets me in. To my surprise, there's already a few people here. So I wait my turn til I'm up in the line, then the guy tells me that he's fully booked for the day. I told him I had an appointment and all he does is "nothing I can do, I'm fully booked. Usually we'd call you when we open but as you can see I'm very busy." What an asshole, and an even bigger waste of my time. Firestone might open at 7am, but you'd be lucky to get your foot in the door since they're always fully booked despite your appointment. Horrible location, horrible company practices. read more

Yet I waited over 3 hours while others who came in after me, who were dropping off there for cars for certain things left before me. Done with this place. I was doing Sunday errands when my tire popped on the freeway . I went to a few tire places to get a tire replacement since this was the second time it had happened to the same tire. Unfortunately, no one in Las Vegas carried the brand tire I had. My boyfriend wanted a temporarily quick fix. I get off work late so I don't have too many options. Firestone was down the street and it was still open with a good rating on Yelp. We walked in. And waited a few moments for someone to assist us. My boyfriend did all the talking and he told the guy the reason for our visit. The guy said it should be no problem and it should be fixable and it would be ready by tomorrow morning. I was having doubts about it since he never asked for my number, name, gave me a receipt or anything. I just trusted this place and left with nothing. And I seriously was going to go back for my rim. But I didn't. I read the reviews a second time so it put me at ease. I called the next day in the afternoon. They said it wasn't ready and it would be ready in twenty minutes. I said okay. My boyfriend went to go pick it up. He picked it up. Came home. Then called me. He said babe, don't be mad. I said what???? He said "There's scratches on your rim and it's not small ones. It's noticeable." And he was just telling me how he always got his tires fixed multiple times on his car and he has never encountered anybody scratching his rim the way they did mine. My boyfriend came to pick me up from work. He pointed it out and of course I was already mad. Mad at the fact that these people would do that. And mad at my boyfriend. If I knew that this was the way they will take care of business for free. (I didn't even know that these type of service were done for free.) I would have never come here and I would have rather pay for someone to fix it and take good care of it!!!! I started to yell and tear up. And yes I started crying! It's like something you worked hard for and someone just messes it all up because they are just careless. I yelled at my boyfriend for being so F#%*$&@ cheap. I called them right away and demanded a manager. They said I would have to call in tommorow and speak to blah blah. I'm not waiting. So I contacted the email that was listed under the bad review on Yelp. I told them my problem and yes there's a few things I said that was not necessary to say because I'm a nice person but I was pissed. Who wouldn't be???? Let me tell you guys something. I'm not spoiled and I work hard for for the things that I have. No one helps me. And I'm a genuine nice, honest person who works hard for a living. And I'm not greedy with my money either. I am the nicest person you will ever met. So nice I was feeling bad for this business that they were losing money for some $@&!# they had to fix for free!!! So for someone to treat my things like garbage. You have another thing coming. Some customer lady replied and said I needed my invoice number. I replied and nothing. So the next day I sent another email and got another reply from someone else. Then I got a call from Firestone. They gave me two options. First one to have it sand down and having looking like brand new again or buying a new factory rim. I went with the "looking like brand new again" but I really wanted to go with the new factory rim. Because knowing me. I can't be pleased easily. And I'm very observant. I gave them a chance to fix it. They told me to drop it off. Which I did. And I got an apology. Their excuse is that "They were busy" so it gives you the right to rush through my tire???? If you're busy. That's fine. But I would rather have you keep my tire for a week then to bring it back to me all messed up. This will be a long review... Let's just say. I got my tire back. The third time. And I said "You know what, I'm not going to keep going back and forth with this. It's an inconvenience." Which it truly is. I have to take time out of my life to keep stopping by to this place after work. It's out of my way. And that's the most annoying thing ever. I have patience but this was way too much. Overall, I'm not happy. I have a f'd up rim. That cost them more than a free tire fix. And the worth for my rim is two synthetic oil change for free. Cheers! What a slap on the face.
