There's good parking available and the area is not congested. Upon arrival on a busy Friday, there were about eight cars ahead, and within 15 minutes, six more cars were behind me. They offer complimetary air pressure check, no appointment needed. There's a drive up to the designated tire pressure check. The staff member is professional and does an excellent job with correct air pressure, service is fast, attentive, and efficient! I greatly appreciate Manuel, he's very kind, knowledgable, and personable. I had several questions about my tire, and he is so courteous and polite in responding. I had the light on my car come on telling me to check the tire pressure. So I looked and couldn't see a flat which meant I could run a few errands before getting my tires checked. To be smart I made an appointment with Discount tires. When I arrived the line of cars for service was quite long. I parked and went inside to an empty lobby. Two employees were having a discussion behind the counter. I use a cane now a days to assist with mobility so I was standing directly in front of the two men waiting. I was not acknowledged or given any type of greeting. After five minutes of being ignored I finally sat down. At least two more minutes passed before the two finished their discussion and I was approached by one of them, Danny. He asked what he could do for me, he didn't apologizing for the long wait I endured while he and his buddy completed their talk nor did he apologize for ignoring me when I came in. I started off telling him I had made an appointment and explained what I needed. I asked a few questions and the answers I received did give me encouragement, I have never had to deal with these kinds of tasks being married for 33 years it was always my husbands job to ensure my car was maintained. He had used Discount tire for our tire needs in the past, so I trusted that they could help me today. After being ignored had given me some doubt but as I shared why I was there and what I wanted, Danny jumped right to it. I gave him my key and off he went. After a few short minutes Danny returned told me that I need air and that they would take care of me. My car was in queue and it wouldn't take long for them to complete everything. So I sat and waited not sure how long it was going to take. But to my surprise a new face came in called my name and then brought me my key and paperwork. I paid and was out of there with tire rotation, air in my spare and new windshield wipers. It was fairly quick about 35 minutes in all. I give low stars for being ignored when I walked in but I was happy with the service I received once they got started. Would I recommend Discount tire, yes. I stood in front of the clerk for approximately 10 minutes while he struggled to reload the paper in the printer. Never once did he acknowledge my presence. Finally he walked outside with me and said I had a nail in the tire and that it would be approximately 45 minutes. This was 3:15 pm. I walked to an local eatery, had a leisurely meal and walked back, over an hour later. The "tracker" link they sent me said it would be done at 5:53...When I got back the car was still sitting outside. I asked about why I was told 45 minutes and it is a 3 hour wait. No one had an intelligent answer. They had no problem taking my money for the tires and rims, but apparently the "free fix" equates to you being placed last in the wait-list, even when you were here first. I've been happy with Discount Tire as I have used them to put air in my tires in the past and they're always very pleasant about it. Yesterday I got a nail in one tire, got towed to a competitor because they were closer, but they wanted to charge me big name tire manufacturer prices for an off brand! And I needed a whole new set of 4 tires. The next day I had my car towed again to Discount Tires who had given me a reasonable quote on OEM Continental tires. But the person there said that was actually not the price, I'd been misquoted but that they would honor it since the original guy wasn't there. That's what I call service! They handled everything very smoothly and I was able to pick it up right around when I was told it would be ready. They even texted me tracking info for when the tires were to arrive at the store from their warehouse and again once they were installed and my car was ready to pick up. I came here twice, both times have been great with their services pricing! First time was to check for air leaks and it turns out I have multiple places where the screws punctured a couple of tires. I ended up purchasing 4 new tires. No pressure or upsells from them. Just presented various options and I just purchased whatever was right for my use and budget. I needed realignment too and they had a coupon for a shop nearby, so that was nice. I didn't have to wait long at all. The second time was when one of my tire air pressure sensors went kaput (it lasted 11 yrs!). They used a hand held gadget to check every tire to make sure in the parking lot (I was with the gentleman who helped me). Once it was confirmed, they priced it and processed the work order. 5 minutes later, a tech went to get my car into the shop bay. Overall it has been a positive experience for me and I didn't get the vibes they are shady or anything (you feel that sometimes with some shops!). And when it's done, they send you a txt to let you know, so that's nice. It took them 15 minutes to replaced my sensor and the free tire rotation. BTW, they provide free air and air pressure checks and the line usually gets VERY long. Try to make an appointment if you can, it would help with the waiting time.
