I am a home hospice nurse here in Denver. I drive hundreds of miles each week seeing patients. I live right around the corner from this Brakes Plus location. My brakes have been squeaking a little bit- and needing to make sure everything was ok- I stopped in around 1pm this afternoon to see if they could do a brake inspection. I had my brakes done here in December of 2020. I got a call at 5pm that they had a chance to look over everything- and my brakes looked great! They cleaned them up and advised that most likely related to build up of debris or the mag oxide from the roads and snow. The reason I come here is that I know I can trust these guys- they are honest and reliable. I get very nervous going in to any auto repair shop alone- worried that I will be taken advantage of for repair costs that aren't needed.. but today really sealed the deal for me. Beware!!! I took my car here for a brake check and got called back stating I need all this service done on my brakes. I was told in a pressuring way so red flags immediately flew. Talked to several coworkers who also have had issues with this location. I declined the service and when I went to pick my car up, the cherry on the top happened. I noticed my dash cam cord had moved onto the other side. Concerned, I pulled the video and the mechanic driving my car was speeding. It was very obvious in the video as the car was jumping all over the place. The dash cam flew off the window. When the mechanic went to put it back up, the video caught my gps system that shows the speed limit in the area along with the speed of the car. It showed they were going 20 mph over the speed limit. I did place a call into Brakes Plus and talked to John and he apologized and said he would talk to the individual. I appreciate his response but still want to warn other customers. I will never return back to this place! Totally unacceptable! read more

So i was looking to replace my brakes last summer and found a coupon ... and decided to try .. they did an ok job there were some noises after i got my brakes and rotors done but i decided to ignore.. they recommended replacing my struts and shocks ... a month or so back i decided to shell it out and get that work done .. cost me another 1000 dollars ... was i satisfied ..not so much ....
