Very disappointing experience! Worst customer service ever! Went to High Country 4x4 to get a build scheduled for my 2023 Ford F150. Drove all the way from across town to check out the shop and schedule an appointment for a 6" BDS 2.5 coil over system, Fuel Wheels, Toyo MT 37" tires and rear end diff cover. I have never been to this shop before and will never go back! After Driving an hour to get there was excited to check it out! Went in and looked at everything in the store! Spent 20 minutes walking around checking things out! Noticed 3 associates sitting behind computers with no customers in the shop but me! No one! No one ! Gave me the time of day to say welcome in, how you doing?! Let us know if you have any questions?! Nothing! What a let down! 18K ready to be spent and an organization that could care less about customer service! Very Sad! and Disappointe! These guys are awesome. No wonder they've been in business for 45+ years. I took my 2020 Tundra to get a body mount chop because my tires were rubbing. I scheduled via email and said I'd drop off early. I had full expectation that they'd not honor the time as most shops do and squeeze me in when they could. Boy was I wrong. Not only did they get me in as promised, they suggested that an alignment to my upper control arms would fix my problem and save me money. Totally unexpected as they could have easily upsold me into something that I didn't need. These guys were all professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I must have spoken with at least 4 different people and everyone was like this. They do business like you would expect decades ago. It seems they truly value the customers and are so knowledgeable about how things work. Their business is incredibly organized and clean when you walk in the front door. I can honestly say this experience was exactly what I needed! Been to other offroad 4x4 shops for my Tundra and was not only quoted way higher but also the work did not correct the issue at hand. Nick and crew at High Country 4x4 there in Englewood took great care of my truck, got the work knocked out and corrected the issue I needed fixed from the very beginning. My front end is extremely solid now and the allignment they did was phenomenal. It's been near 6 months now and all my tires are wearing perfectly still. Took my older Jeep Rubicon Unlimited here for initial inspection after buying it used and to repair a broken sway bar control arm. Handled professionally by the team and was returned to me after the work was complete. Didn't try to upsell me on fluids or other mtce, which was good because I had the PO's records showing everything was done last year. Now for the good part, I had a problem with the control arm coming off again on my next trail ride. This time it was the other side. I was stunned as I wasn't hitting difficult trails - just getting used to the vehicle. The guys took a look and decided the control arms weren't long enough for my lift and replaced them. OK, nothing too exciting there BUT they did so under warranty. This was well beyond my expectation as there really was nothing wrong with their previous work. Come to find out my upper ball joints were shot even though I had gotten them fixed a year and half ago ( got them done somewhere else) Justin at HC went above and beyond to get them swapped under warranty even though I didn't get them done from them originally! Marcus and the entire HC organization are exceptional. I had an issue with my 2017 Silverado when my wheel fell off while driving. I assumed HC was at fault as HC was the organization that upgraded my wheels, tires, and suspension. Spoiler alert, my assumption was wrong. I called Marcus after the incident and without asking any questions, Marcus had my truck towed to HC to investigate and repair my truck. HC has such rigorous quality assurance programs, as they investigated the incident, they could not make sense of why a wheel would fall off after their initial torque checks and the subsequent torque check. They found that another service shop had rotated the tires when they were not supposed to do so. Marcus and the team called the service manager at that shop to explain the situation and get them to pay for all the repairs. I derive a tremendous amount of confidence in an organization that has such a rigorous QA program they have the confidence to investigate a situation to identify the real root cause for customers. I unfortunately don't have the time to wrench on my own stuff any more, so it makes me feel good that I can trust these guys to get it right and know it will be as clean as an install as possible. After years of wanting to modify my jeep, extensive research, dealing with another shop and their total lack of communication, I called high country and pulled the trigger on this little dream of mine. Chris answered the phone, we ironed out the details and nailed down an appointment date to bring the jeep in, they were a month out at that time which was fine. In that time Chris replied to numerous emails with price quotes and answers to the numerous questions and requests that I had. It was scheduled to take 2 days but ended up taking three after they found a little damage from an existing wreck that would affect the lift being installed. WOW- where to start? I am a new Jeep owner and called High Country about all of my questions; lift, tires, wheels, winch, accessories, 35" vs 315's, etc. Ryan was great and started walking me through all of the options. We talked about price points, how I will use the Jeep and put together a budget and timing. We agreed on a lift as the starting point, I was sent a quote for it. Then I added in the 315's too. When I picked up the Jeep, I was thrilled when I saw it. I went to pay and the cost was about $200 more from what my expectation was. We realized that I hadn't included taxes, disposal, shipping, and little other minutia. Ryan was that he wanted me 100% satisfied and removed $150 and I was thoroughly pleased. I am a new customer to High Country Performance and I'm impressed! On my first visit about 4 months ago I was glad to see a modern, and clean showroom displaying many of the items they sell. I was in the market for some rocker panel protection and John W. behind the counter was very helpful and helped me decide on which ones to get. So I ordered a set of N-Fab RKR rails for my Tacoma and just like John said, they arrived at HCP a few days later. Next Trip to HCP I was looking for a aftermarket rear bumper for my Tacoma and once again John W. helped me out with that too. I settled on a Pelfrybilt bumper and this time I had HCP do the installation of the bumper and it went totally smooth. See my updated review on 25 October. So far so good. I have a 2018 JKU Sahara. I had the AEV 4.5 inch lift with JKS quick disconnects installed. I also had them install a custom drive drive shafts at same time. The JK rides much better now on and off road. The install was completed when promised but they did forget to install the QDs. They made up for this oversight by installing them at the same time I brought the Jeep in for the 500 mile service. This took about 90 minutes. As a bonus, they calibrated my speedometer using the AEV ProCal that came with my lift kit even though I didn't buy the larger tires from them. I noticed the improvement in shift points almost immediately when driving the Jeep home. I chose HCP 4x4 based mostly on the verbal praise by other Off Roaders and the fact they warranty their labor for 1 year as compared to 3 months by their competitors. If this install does well over time I plan having them perform my next upgrade which will ina front axle, diff lockers, gearing , and more. read more

I was introduced to HCP 4X4 by my Bro-in-law who used them on a couple of his trucks. He highly recommended that I utilize them for my Toyota Tacoma build. My initial interaction was with Ryan and he seriously blew my mind with his knowledge on everything needed to make an educated decision on the company I needed for my build and what I envisioned on transforming this truck into a beast! In August of 2021, I took my Jeep to them for new Suspension parts. Coils Springs, Shocks, and Bump Stops. When I went to pick up my Jeep, they were still waiting for shocks to come in. Not a problem, I'll wait for the right ones. I looked over the coil springs & bump stops and the first 2 things I found wrong.....Rear Track bar bolt on left side was hitting the coil spring, and the cutting of the rear frame for the bump stops looked like it had been done blindfolded. No clean cuts at all. I requested they change the bolt so the threads face backwards and that the cutting be smoothed out. I took it home and a few days later drove it off road. I noticed that the right rear track bar bracket was hitting the bump stop pad and causing excessive wear. I asked for a solution to this, but was disappointed that for a shop of this size and the amount of suspension work they do, that they could not offer a solution. I ended up taking it elsewhere, where they shortened the rear control arms by 1/2 inch, which allowed clearance. When the shocks came in, they did offer to waive the labor for install of them. In September of 2022, 13 months later, my front right bump stop came loose. I contacted the shop and asked if they could tighten this as I did not have the proper spanner wrench. ( I do now ) . I took it to them and waited while they worked on the bump stop. This time some thread lock was used. Should have been used in the first place. About a week later, I was in Crested Butte and airing down when I noticed I was missing 2 lug nuts off my front right tire, which they had taken off to work on the bump stop. Fortunately I carry spares and I trailered down there. I partially blame myself for not checking the lug nuts, but this is just another rookie mistake by their mechanics, not torquing the lug nuts properly. I will never take my jeep back there, too many mistakes. read more

First time at the shop, super glad I ended up here. Running a 2017 Rubicon Recon I had built before leaving SoCal a few months ago. I had taken a pit stop at 4 Wheel Parts upon my arrival in CO, needed to wap gears and add a few other parts. Within a few months I started having issues with a few of my newly installed parts done by 4 Wheel Parts. That's that. Did not go back. In the mean time I had a Gobi Rack Installed by the awesome team over at Gobi right here in Denver which referred me over to High Country Performance 4x4 and said they had a few satisfied customers say good things about the shop. CJ and Brady helped me through a full inspection of the jeep, addressed current issues and provided solutions which led me to having a flawless experience at the shop. From the custom High steer kit to the flawless coating job of entire frame to stay rust free, etc... these guys know how to do stuff the right way, and make it happen. First shop I have ever dealt with that puts the time and perfection in how I would do myself. Since then, I ran a few awesome trips with the jeep this summer including a 2 week Montana fly fishing/off-roading and camping trip perfectly with the work that had been done. CJ and Brady took the time to research and find the best possible replacement coil system for me as a last minute go to. They even got me into the shop the next morning with such short notice to swap out the springs and get me dialed for my trip.
