We found a car we wanted online and confirmed with the dealership they still had it in stock. The next day the sales rep, Dale Graham, called us 30 minutes before we left for the dealership to let us know it would be ready. We test drove it, worked out the price and had our car priced for trade-in value. They ran my credit and I was approved for financing. After about 2 1/2 hours at the dealership, we were finally preparing to sign the paperwork when Dale got a call and told us that he may have a problem because another party was interested in the vehicle. He spoke with a sales manager and when he came back, He said the problem was resolved and that it was "our car". After again sitting down with Dale and beginning to sign all of the paperwork, he received another call and then told me that the vehicle had just sold to the other party. Dale was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation as to what happened. There were no offers from Dale or anyone else to make the situation right in anyway. We wasted half a day at this dealership, risked our health during a pandemic crisis, had my credit run for no reason and then were told the car we wanted to buy was never available to us. The vehicle we were interested in was still listed on their website as available for two days AFTER our visit. I can only imagine this is so they could "bait and switch" another customer into coming into the dealership to waste their time as well. Let me start by saying I hate going to dealerships. I hate the sales process, I hate the long waits for service, I hate the high pressure, pretentious atmosphere. But for whatever reason, buying a car from Dodge City McKinney didn't feel like that at all. For the first time in nearly 9 years of having to go to dealerships for sales and service and thinking there are just zero good dealerships, I finally had a good experience. I still don't like the car buying process in general, but the staff made it as painless as possible. Bryce was our salesperson, he was very friendly and let us test drive a couple of cars for an extended period. He was understanding of my desire to take time to try cars at other dealers and take time to discuss and think about my large purchase. Even before I had told him about my bad experiences, he treated me with respect and professionalism. He also didn't waste our time, checked in with us and looked like he was making an effort to get information from his manager in a timely manner. During the finance process, which is the thing I hate most of all about the process because of my experiences, I was on edge and prepared to leave at the slightest insult or unethical action (I've had guys change numbers, add things, rush me to sign blank papers, you name it). But Fred was awesome- I made it clear at the start I wanted a professional process and wanted to read and understand every paper I signed. He made sure to explain each page, check every number, and go through everything slowly and thoroughly. I was even happy to purchase an extended warranty from him even though I had planned to purchase online for a few dollars less. He answered every question I had about the addons he offered, and did not pressure me at all to purchase anything. The process will never be pleasant to me, but Fred was friendly and personable while waiting for things to process, and serious & professional when it was time to review- better than I could have expected. They've earned a customer for life- the first dealership I can truly recommend. I don't think I'll ever enjoy the process nor will I ever truly trust a dealership to have my interests as a priority, but at the very least I don't have to be on full alert at Dodge City of McKinney. read more

The last vehicle that I purchased from this Dealership was in November of 2014. I still have it and have it serviced regularly in their service dept. My salesman (Bobby Crosby) calls me each year on my birthday to wish me a Happy Day and treats me like family when I run into him periodically. The finance manager (Auggie) is sweetheart and she worked really hard for me during the time that I purchased my first car from Dodge City. She is also very friendly when I see her at the dealership. My service advisor was "Dakota Burns" I felt as if I was driving my vehicle into a HIGH END/Luxury service center when I visited Dakota. He was attentive, professional, honest, friendly and accommodating. I loved, loved, loved him. He was nice enough to send me an email last week to let me know that he was leaving the Dodge Dealership. I was absolutely devastated. If my vehicle wasn't paid for, I would trade it so that he could continue to be my advisor. I do understand that nothing is promised, but if I were management, I would have tried to keep him. The simplest tasks literally require days to accomplish. I am not exaggerating. In my personal experience (actual times): Oil change / tire rotation: 2-3 hrs Body trim repair (30 min of work): 3 days after parts in stock Radiator replacement: 2.5 days (1.5 after part in stock and car returned with 18 miles registered....really?) i seriously hate this dealership. My truck has been there many many times, and as soon as I drive it off the lot, the check engine light comes back on. I bought the expensive insurance, since I knew this truck was a piece of junk, but they had loopholes in place so they didn't gave to do the warranty repairs. So far...._awful_ experience with the service department. I had an appt on Fri. 11/17 and I dropped off my Jeep to have them diagnose why the "check engine" light is on. I expected a slightly longer wait because the next week was Thanksgiving week. As of today, 11/29, they have _never_ called once to give an update. My husband and I have called multiple times, and after being told last week that they needed to basically dismantle the engine to diagnose it, we've still received zero word. We called again today, and were repeatedly put on hold, asked if they could call us back in an hour, told the service tech was at lunch, and then basically told that nothing has yet been done to even diagnose the problem, much less _fix_ it. Worst car service experience ever, thus far. I understand that they're "backed up" with cars to fix, but then they should not be taking new appointments/customers until they can handle their current load. Our family is short a car for now 12 days, and once we finally get it back, we won't ever make the mistake of returning to Dodge City. read more

They will take your money and run!!!! Definitely beware of this place.. I will try to be as detailed as possible to explain why I say that. I purchased my dream car (a 2017 Dodge Challenger) the first weekend in December. I had a good buying experience with Eric Joseph; he and his manager did a great job of making sure that I got a fair deal, and even beat the financing I had received from my bank.... but after I bought the car is when things went down hill. The NEXT DAY the Uconnect radio in my car decided it no longer wanted to work, or connect to my phone via bluetooth. This of course is no fault of the dealer, but how they handled the situation is very disappointing. I called the dealership to find out what time the autoshop closed, I was told they didn't close until 7. However, when I showed up (around 6), much to my dismay the tech that is experienced with Uconnect had left for the day and the employees that were working were not able to assist me. Why is there only ONE person that is familiar with Uconnect?? So I head back to the dealership the next day, they reset my radio, and for a few days, it works. But as my luck would have it.. it stops working again. I called Dodge City and was told that I would need to get my radio replaced, and I need to bring my car back so they could pull information from the radio to order me a new one. December 13th - I brought my car in and the technician got the information from my radio, and I was told that I should hear back from them in 7-10 business days. December 26th - I hadn't heard anything back, so I decided to give them a call. I also wanted to check on the status of my license plates and registration. The receptionist answers and I ask about my tags.. she asks me when I bought my car, I tell her the first week of December, and she tells me that I was calling way too early, as my license plates will take another four weeks due to the Holiday. She didn't even bother checking on my plates, she immediately just brushes me off the phone. I then ask to be transferred to the Auto Shop.. The technician tells me that it would be another 7-10 days before my radio.. WHICH IS WHAT I WAS TOLD ON DECEMBER 13TH!!! December 27th - The receptionist calls to let me know that my license plates and registration are in.. OH REALLY NOW??? January 6th (today) - Still no word on my radio.. I have yet to hear back from the auto shop. AND MY RADIO IS STILL NOT WORKING!!! YOU KNOW HOW ANNOYING IT IS TO HAVE A BRAND NEW CAR WITH A RADIO THAT DOESN'T WORK?!?!?!! I plan on calling again early next week, but something tells me I will be given the runaround again, which I honestly don't have time for. I don't think my radio was ever ordered in the first place. Though the buying experience went well, this place is SERIOUSLY LACKING in customer service. I ended up dealing with Luis Paulin who was straight forward and responded to all my queries in a timely manner. He provided fair pricing to me for the Jeep I had identified and we set up a time up for me and my wife to come in to view the Wrangler. We actually couldn't decide between two different colors so he had both of them pulled up and allowed us to view them until we made our minds up. The paperwork was very easy and all in all I doubt we spent much more than an hour finalizing the deal which was exactly what Luis had promised to me over the phone. This is one of the most smooth transactions I have had purchasing a car. Since then Luis has contacted me to make sure everything is going well with the car and is actually handling an additional request I had. A pretty hassle free process. Financing was arranged much quicker than expected (Our scores were a bit stressed) with several accommodations made on pricing/payments. Was very happy with the entire process. Jesse and David worked as a team and I was happy with the seamless process for taking delivery. My only complaint I took 1 start off for would be how long we had to wait to get into the finance office to sign as that took quite a while but once there, the experience was reasonably quick and painless with the numbers we agreed on remaining consistent with the original signing agreement. Took my car in for its 30k service, got the car back the next day, the oil light had not been reset so how do I know the oil change was even done also, my tires were still low and had not been rotated which should have been included and I know they weren't rotated because my back left tire light was on when I took it there and when I got it back it was still on and on the exact same side. Also i purchased new wiper blades because my left wiper blade was skipping when using the wipers and guess what. When I go to use the wiper blades today the left one is still skipping?? So now my question is did anything get done to the vehicle? Because to me it doesn't look like it... I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone read more

I had my car brought in after the timing belt slipped. They replaced it and promised it back to me the next day. I called and they said it should be ready, let me check... i got a call from the service tech. who told me my car was over heating now and they were trying to find out what was up. The next day they said it wasn't ready yet. The 3rd day they told me it was ready, but the oil pressure light was coming on. Did it do the before I sent it to them? I said, heck no. They determined I hadn't done proper service on the vehicle thru it's life. I changes the oil religiously every 3,000 miles. They had gotten some junk in my oil pan and it trashed my bearings. They continued to try and tell me it was like that when they got it. WHATEVER! These guys couldn't change a diaper. Keep your cars away from this shop! read more

First off, I HATE leaving negative reviews but this is literally the last recourse I have and I hope NO ONE has to deal with this shop the way I've had to deal with it. Glad to see some others with good experience with these guys. Jeeps are awesome! :-) My experience... I've had nothing but problems from sales to service to buying a lemon to needing to hire a lawyer to being lied to, stole from, abandoned, and left to rot being ripped off by this dealership and Chrysler Corp for 2 YEARS!!! So much wasted time and money I can never possibly explain or get it all down on one review. After a legal battle, losing about $5K, more than a year of my life going unto that damn place sometimes as much as 3 times a week to be met with apathetic people who had more interest in calling me a liar than helping me correct a problem with the $45K dollar car I bought from them, I finally hired a lawyer and magically they were able to prove my car was indeed the lemon I said it was. After finally going through the grueling process of doing a buy back (that cost me about $3K just for that), I was able to get a good car but, they still have not transferred my extended warranty and service package to my new vehicle and it's been 9 months. So it's still going on 2 years later. I've went in to the shop and called multiple times and no one seems to care because it's not a deal that makes them money anymore. They'll hustle to help you if it's a new deal but service after that is not just non existent, it's almost like you're putting them out and they actively try to let you know that they have your money now and that all they care about. And I'm talking about new car sales with their higher end cars. Once they get your money, you're a nuance and a pain to them. I'm out almost 2 years of stress filled, time wasted life, about $5K in cash out of my pocket, didn't get what I paid for (they basically stole from me), and countless hours of lost wages from having to go in there so much to deal with all of the problems. I love my Jeep but I cannot recommend this shop. If you're looking for a Jeep, I say absolutely get one and pray it doesn't have problems. They're awesome rigs. But go to the shop in Frisco or even Bonham because from my experience, if you have ANY kind of problems with this place, it's going to end up being VERY expensive in time, stress, frustration, and money and who knows of will ever get resolved. Time for me to eat my losses and move on because every time I try to get a resolution, it just ends up costing me more than its worth. It's caused so much stress, I woke up at 445 this morning thinking about it and trying to figure out how to make it right (when they should be the ones doing that) and in thE end, they win. I'm too tired and worn out to keep trying. This was a mess from the start! Ordered parts weeks ago, dates kept changes and I had two trucks down during our busiest time. Long story short or one of two IDENTICAL parts were ordered. Finally got the email they were in and ready for pick up. I called on my way in to make sure that they had both of them-was told yes both here. I get to the dealership and stand at the counter for 20 to 25 minutes while the parts department is hanging out and having a good time not even paying attention to the customer service window. Stood there for another 10 minutes with another customer waiting for parts as well. When somebody finally came around they said one box ended up Mia labeled and that they only had one ready. Now I'm at the dealership to pick up the second one two days later and was told the second one was there the entire time!!Terrible communication and even worse customer service. Will be driving to another Dodge dealership even though this one's closest to home. Set aside your morning for an oil change. The website offers a chance to schedule an appointment, but this is useless as it's not used during actual scheduling. I was quoted a 45 minute wait when I got here, and a 45 minute wait after waiting an hour. ... And now at the end of the day, I'm playing phone tag trying to get the shuttle to come and get me so that I can get my car. Worse dealership, ever. Go to Richardson. Once I dig myself out of this hole with my current Jeep I'll be taking my business there. Found the original sales slip on my USED Jeep. Was lied to that we were getting some big deal, when actually we paid over 2 grand more than it originally sold. Told the finance guy we didn't want an extended warranty, but wanted employment coverage and gap. He put an extended warranty in our deal, slid it right in without our knowledge. I came in with a pre-approval and he preceeded to pull my credit with 4 other companies without my permission. I never received the policies for either the gap or extended warranty, and when we tried to call the companies we were told we didn't have a policy. Service people are a joke as well. Had the Jeep in there twice and still have issues. To top it off, they took our mats and soft top out when the first serviced it and proceeded to call us liars that it was never in the Jeep. So 20 months later I am still stuck in a Jeep with electrical problems and leaking roof, can't refinance and can't trade because I have about $4000 worth of insurance policies I can't account for. A waste of two years and $100k!! Bought a 2018 Grand Cherokee cash and financed my Ram 2500 Limited the same day, that was the end of anyone going out of their way to help us. I've had my truck in for service over ten times for the Ram Boxes coming apart. The Ram Boxes are coming apart again since March. Service and sales will not return messages. I've opened a Care Case with FCA about the Ram Boxes and Dodge City. I regret leaving great reviews in the past and trying to be understanding with this dealership. Looking at my truck falling apart after spending our hard earned money with these people! I spent countless hours off work and personal life at this dealership for "drive by so we can look at it and order parts" only to drop my truck off when the parts are "here" and it sit there for months at a time. I've asked for help from FCA and Dodge City on multiple occasions to help me get into a Ram without Ram Boxes and I've received nothing but the run around. To top all of this off my wife brought the 2018 Grand Cherokee in for a oil change with balance and rotate last week. She calls me while driving home scared out of her mind cause the car is vibrating badly as she is driving on the highway. Now after spending all this money I guess I'll be left to work on her car again to fix it. Because we live local we both believe in supporting local business especially these days, but after two years of fighting with the multiple service writers, the GM the service director, the sales department, and your technicians who obviously flat rate my truck to death I'm over it all. My steering column still makes a snapping noise, my truck still shakes violently when I hit a bump in the road, the headliner is still coming apart, the ram boxes are coming apart again, I have to replace tires every 15k miles which is unheard of for a straight axle truck, it still doesn't drive straight, the remote start still doesn't work from one key,. I should have known how bad this dealership was when I bought the truck and got charged for wheel locks that weren't even on the truck and when I questioned the service writer he told me they don't make wheel locks for 2500. Then the next service writer magically found them weeks later and they put them on while it was in for service to fix the back sliding glass that never worked from day 1. Almost forgot about that time.... when I Sat there for half a Saturday while they looked at it with no RO to see what parts needed to be ordered and when I finally get it back there are grease finger prints all over my headliner. Pissed but willing to wait till I bring it back I head back to work and while on the freeway changing lanes the over head control panel falls out of the headliner and almost made me crash!! No one deserves to be blown off like this! The only way to get through to anyone at this dealership is to show up and be in their face which I've done many times and what you get is people pointing the finger at other people. The finance department was quick to sell us every warranty available. And we bought them for both vehicles with much disappointment. They do not use factory glass when they replace your windshield. Safe lite cut my wife's headliner and we had to fight Dodge City to help us get it replaced. Because they didn't do it they wouldn't even take in her Jeep and take care of holding safelite responsible. She had a screw in the outer tread of one of her tires, tire warranty paid for.. they plugged the tire. The extended warranty they sold us will not cover the Ram Boxes that are continuously falling apart. The only person at that dealer that has stood by their word has been Anthony Addy in sales! Great man and was a pleasure to deal with. He made my wife and I feel like family. Since then I've bought 4 more cars and I have two boys soon to need cars. read more

We had been looking at Wranglers for some time, so we headed down to the dealership, and met up with Joe after my husband got off work. We started the process on a new Wrangler, but we hadn't had dinner and Joe had paperwork to prepare, so we asked if they'd mind if we grabbed a bite to eat. We began texting our reactive daughter... hubby: What do you think about a Ram instead? her: NO her: NO A WRANGLER WORKS BETTER her: DAD hubby: The hood is taller than your mom and she's so mad about it. her: Of course she is lol she can't handle being shorter than everything hubby: [sends her a picture of me signing a paper] hubby: Doing the paperwork to buy a...... her: WRANGLER I texted her a picture in front of said Ram. So we left to go get our meal, and pick up the kids, and sure enough, as each one came downstairs, the first thing they said was, "Why is there a RAM in the driveway?" We said, "Don't you like our new truck?" "It's not a Wrangler! You were going to buy a Wrangler!" They piled in, and we were talking up the nice features of the Ram, and telling them stuff like, don't you love the space? Isn't that a nice dash? and they grudgingly started finding good things about the Ram. When we got to the dealership and started signing papers, the salesman, who was in on it, called it our 'vehicle' instead of Jeep to be sure the kids never caught on. He slipped and said Jeep once but they didn't catch it. When we walked out to the Jeep, they lost their minds - 'You pranked us!' 'Traitor! You were getting a Jeep!' One of the boys is swearing he will spend the whole year planning a prank to get back at us. I told him he's welcome to try. Truck buying process was good. The online price was the price I paid(unlike most dealers who tack on extra stuff). Bought the top of the line Limited 3500 RAM, (over $80,000) and paid $600 extra for the gooseneck/fifth wheel package, but this did not come with the gooseneck ball(craziness) Which i now found out has to be a special ball from dodge that costs an additional $300. For a trailer ball, yes $300. I bought everysingle option that dodge has on this truck, and they still want $300 extra dollars of my money. Dont think thats right. Also paid $950 for the "towing technology group" which is useless unless i have a way to tow something which i do not. We have 2 Fords F350s in the family(all lesser packages) that both came with their own gooseneck ball. If i would have known before hand That it would be an upsale i would have walked out (i doubt they would lose an 80k sale over a few hundred dollar ball) but now that theyve got my money "ill have to order one, the truck does not come with it" Nuts. read more

I wanted the new John Varvatos 300 and they HAD one. I found it on line, went in and met a sales person. They were very professional, better than any other dealership I have visted on my current quest. Met the owner, Gus. He is in the store every day! I never would have expected to meet they guy who owns the place. I like the personal touch he gave in my purchase. This was a 50 thousand dollar transaction and I did it with the right people.
