I guess its my fault for not checking the plates or whatever right? but either way if someone is going to order a Sirloin Steak it shouldn't be a fucking hamburger patty like how my order was. They said it would be 25-30 mins for the order which I gave them patiently I should've at least gotten my ACTUAL steak made rather than they go and slab this shit on my plate. Ordered through delivery service: shredded beef chimichanga with red sauce and a shredded beef taco. Both items had american cheese instead of cheddar. We came here with a group of six, and the food was surprisingly good. The albondigas soup was delicious, I highly recommend it. My daughter says it's by far her favorite she's had. I ordered the ground sirloin steak dinner. The gravy, mushrooms and onion were great. However I felt the ground sirloin was a bit overcooked and a little tough, but the taste was overall yummy. My brothers waffle was DAMN delicious!!!! (I almost considered ordering one for dessert, lol!) my daughters cheese enchiladas were tasty. She ordered one each with red and green sauce. Their green sauce was out of this world! The French dip was very tasty as well. We will definitely come back and try their breakfast. The prices were very reasonable. I like good old Brandon's. They have the best abondgas and Menudo soup you can find. I love their fried chicken and my husband likes their salmon. Their mashed potatoes are great and the veggies are good. I can't find anything bad about this place. They also have really good breakfast. The tacos are really great with the good old fried shell! Really surprising to see a nice diner in an city that's usually teeming with franchaises. Environment is welcoming and service is always friendly and helpful. Portions are very generous. I typically order the flapjacks and unless I haven't eaten anything over the last couple days, I can never finish them. These things are seriously hubcap sized and very delicious. Light, fluffy buttery goodnees. Lunch specials are also pretty good. They have a bacon cheeseburger special for $6 and it's seriously better than anything you could get at a typical fast food franchaise and probably a lot cheaper as well. The patties for the burger are a bit on the thin side(you can always ask for another patty), but the flavor and quality of meat will more likely quell any issues you may have upon first glance. Other notable dishes that I've had include the Philly Cheesesteak, Ranchero Burrito(Chile Verde is amazing here), Pastrami Sandwich, Maria's Omelette(Green Chili, Avocado, Sour Cream) and they've all been great. Definitely not the healthiest option out there, but if you're going to a greasy spoon for a meal, you shouldn't be expecting anything like that. They don't necessarily reinvent the wheel with their recipes, but the food is done so well here that you simply won't care. It's a great place to go eat if you're starving in the Inland Empire and don't feel like going to yet another franchaise. Also, did I mention that they have an open bar? I don't think I've ever heard of a diner with a liquor license before. Not sure if I'd want a cold one during my lunch break or with some bacon & eggs, but it's pretty cool that the option is still there. read more

Come hungry leave full! The portion size here is good. Even the drinks come in like a 32oz cup for about the same price you'd typically pay at a sit down restaurant. I got the cinnamon roll French toast combo. The eggs were cooked like I asked and the sausage links were hearty. One complaint I do have is that the cinnamon roll French toast was very dry; perhaps they were over cooked; so I was a little disappointed. The positive is that they had a good taste and were big. My wife got a waffle and she said it was great. I think I'll come back and try the hard shell taco; as many people were ordering them; and they looked amazing. Brandon's is great. Came in with my rather large family and they were super accommodating. I have 3 kids under 3. The servers were super nice and even played with my kids. We sampled a lot of things - and everyone was super happy. Kids got the kids breakfast for dinner which was really good (dad had to finish it up). Pancakes/sausage/bacon/eggs. Spot on. I had the chile verde omelette and it was off the chain tasty! Just the right amount of spice. It has avocado, cheese, sour cream, and green chile pork - excellent! My brother was coming to visit and exchange xmas gifts, and afterwards he was going to treat me to a lunch, my choice. I had not been to a restaurant all this year of Covid (2020) and couldn't afford to anyway. I did hours of research to find a place with outdoor dining not too far from my home. Before he got here, I called the diner to assure myself that they did have outdoor tables and service. I had never been to this place before. But it was easy enough to find. Parking was a little crowded, but that's OK. We walked on up to the front door where we were greeted and asked if we wanted to be seated indoors or outdoors. That was a pleasant surprise. We chose indoor. Our entire visit was awesome. The waitresses were genuinely friendly, the food was excellent, and we both had a great time. My brother ordered the Rubin sandwich and he ate every last bite saying it was one of the very best he had ever had. I chose a breakfast combo of pancakes, eggs, and sausage. I have never-ever seen so much butter on top of a stack of pancakes before. My brother, who is somewhat of a world traveler absolutely fell in love with the place. I am so glad I thought of it, and will return when/if I can afford to. Or when my brother returns to visit. Which I think will be soon because he really liked the ambience and the food. I ordered country fried steak with eggs and my sides are hash-browns and pancakes. I suggest to add pecans to the pancakes. The hash-browns could've been crispier because the rest of the potatoes are kinda mushy. I also recommend if you get pancakes as a side to ask to bring it later because the butter sank and poked a hole through our pancakes. Their pancakes are hard to cut when they're cold. If you order their eggs benedict tell them to go easy on the hollandaise sauce. Overall, it's a cute diner with good service. Brought my 85 year old mom to have a treat out. Being 85 you can imagine that she doesn't want or need a voluminous serving. We have come to Brandon's for the last nine years. Both locations here and in Corona. It is kind of a family favorite diner. I requested a kids menu so that I could get a size appropriate meal for my Mom. I was treated as though I was planning a heist. The treatment was ridiculous and unnecessary. I have never received this kind of service here. I was scolded that I would not and could not receive a kids portion for my mom. (The Senior Citizens portions are not available on the weekends.) I will pay the difference Brandon's. If you are lucky enough to have lived 85 years, you're being treated to a lunch with your granddaughter, it would be good practice to consider a way to accommodate your customers. I am in Sales, I get it. But there is no need to speak to a guest in a condescending manner as though I'm trying "to pull one over on you". For your additional $4 up charge, you've lost a decade long customer. Way to go. read more

Stopped in based on location and Yelp reviews on our way to Joshua Tree N.P. Absolutely the best breakfast I've had in a restaurant in a long time! Poached eggs were perfect, bacon was ordered crispy, and was perfectly prepared. Not that throw it in the microwave to crisp it but perfectly cooked. Wow! Added fresh tomato slices and sour dough toast, amazing! We also had the breakfast quesadilla...perfectly prepared and enough to feed 4. Fresh and obviously homemade salsa to top it. So my boyfriend and I ordered off doordash. We were pretty disappointed to say the least. Food was pretty bland I had an omelette and hashbrowns and a side of chocolate chip pancakes, half of my hashbrowns were cold the pancakes tasted as if the batter wasnt misxed very well so it was very clumpy, and the chocolate chips were minimal and only in the center. We had missing ingredients (my avocado and bell peppers for my omlette and his whip cream for his waffle) My boyfriend ordered a special waffle and hashbrowns and over meduim eggs. Eggs were over easy, so not what he ordered. He said the waffle was good, but it had icecream and strawberries on it, so of course it was.
